Guests appreciate the exceptional service, cozy rooms with plush bedding, and unique decor. They also enjoy the delicious gourmet breakfast. However, some may find the unique whiskey in the breakfast combination unusual.

I travelled alone and was made to feel extremely welcome. The security is excellent, the location is beautiful. I saw wildlife every day. The ‘caves’ are luxurious and have every amenity you could ever need. ‘Roots’ restaurant was wonderful from the 5 course evening meal, the 4 course breakfast and the lunches. The produce was all fresh and beautifully prepared and served. The wine cellar is stocked with a vast selection of wine at reasonable prices. Their cocktails are delicious. I look forward to returning early next year.

Unique room, beautiful property. The multi-course breakfasts and dinners were exceptional and the staff offered 6-star service upon arrival, during the stay and when we left. We highly recommend for anyone staying in the Credle of Humankind area!

My time spent here was absolutely amazing and to anyone reading this, you won’t be disappointed. From the complimentary bubbles on arrival in your room, welcome tour, spacious rooms spent great detailing, to the friendliest staff and even better food, this place really ticked all the boxes. My partner and I left feeling refreshed and revitalised. Thank you to everyone at Forum Homini and we’ll see you soon :)

We made the booking through Lekkeslaap for 1 night stay on a Sunday. We were not aware that Forum Homini don't offer the 5-course dinner on Sunday's, but lunch is offered instead. We received a phone call from the venue informing us but at this stage it was already after 12h00 on the Sunday. On arrival our host, Morne served us complimentary cocktails and offered to serve us the 5-course dinner anyway to make up for the inconvenience. He also upgraded our room to the Presidential suite at no extra charge and gave us the option to be served dinner in our suite. I can seriously recommend this room (although priced quite high). We were no longer upset and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back and will seriously consider booking the Presidential suite again. Thanks for going the extra mile to make us feel welcome Morne and team! Well done!

This was the most magnificent experience as a family. We spent two days in peace, going for walks and simply relaxing. The team went above and beyond - and knew each guest by name. The food - exceptional! If I could make this an annual visit I would. Just 40 mins out of Joburg (if that) and you've escaped to a five-star gem for a long weekend reboot! Sarah, James and Kayla.

What an experience! From the friendly and efficient welcome to the tranquil beautiful surrounds, we were more than impressed. The rooms are beautifully designed with such attention to detail and texture. We indulged in all there was to offer. The jacuzzi, huge double shower watching the trees above, cozy fireplace and bathtub with a bush view. We were treated to a culinary treat in the evening at Roots Restaurant, where Chef Michael dazzled out taste buds with the 5 course dining experience we will never forget, simply exquisite. We can't recommend this experience more!

Forum Homini Hotel provided a wonderfully unique experience. The rooms were fabulous (we were moved to another room due to a geyser issue in our orginal room but the complimentary bubbly more than made up for it!) If you love nature, cosiness and quirky pre-historic styling, then this is for you. And I cannot commend the the chef at Roots retaurant enought for the four sensational meals. We'll be back!
