Das Hotel liegt ruhig am Ortsrand. 5 Minuten Gehweg ins Zentrum. Sehr schöne Zimmer mit schönem Badezimmer (ich hasse offene Bäder)! Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig. Immer wieder gute Tipps der Wirtin (anhand des Hochwassers sehr praktisch)!

Wir waren für eine Woche im Sonnenlay und hatten ein großes Komfortzimmer. Das Haus entspricht den guten Bewertungen auf den unterschiedlichen Portalen. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Frühstück ist als reichhaltig zu bezeichnen, auch von Tag zu Tag abwechselnde Angebote wie frische Waffeln, Milchreis, Fisch oder Salate. Der Service durch die Chefin war aufmerksam und persönlich ausgerichtet. Parkplatz am Haus für offenbar alle Autos der Gäste. Eigene Fahrräder können untergestellt werden. Uns hat es gefallen. Die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind aufgrund der zentralen Lage an der Mosel sehr gut. Nach Trier etwa 45 Minuten, Cochem eine Stunde, Burg Eltz etwas mehr als eine Stunde.
