I was happy when I found the Old English style of the hotel when booked, but soon lost the good feeling. Upon entering a strong smell of sewerage (in hall not room), and the room was average and cramped. I went downstairs and had an average dinner that I had to pay for in advance. The best part of the facility is the great beer selection with a nice English atmosphere. Good choice for a beer next to the train station.

I rate it 5 stars. Not because everything is perfect on an absolute scale, but for a 3 stars english pub hotel in a charming city it offers a great stay with very good value for the money. Location is top. Right next to the cathedral constructed by the Danish king Christian the 4th. Good and clean room with a nice bed. Slept very well. Breakfast was fine. Dinner was really great in the pub and so were the bears. Felt totally in the UK here. It is an old hotel a bit worn out but it only adds to the charm. We will be back.

I have been told that pubs in England often have rooms on top and that is what is is. The fact that we could check in only at 4 pm because the hotel is closed, was strange but they did allow us to leave the luggage so it was ok. Staff was very nice. The hotel is across the train station and easy to find. The room was huge with a balcony and an extra room with sofa and second television. . Is is rather old and n the need of some up keep but still nice enough. Breakfast was very nice with many things to choose from.

Das Hotel ist ein altes Gebäude mit einem sehr schönen Pub im Erdgeschoß. Die Einzelzimmer sind einfach ausgestattet und klein. Die Mitarbeiter im Pub sind extrem freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus, neben der Terasse für das Pub. Die Lage ist im Zentrum und direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof der relativ leise ist (ich hatte das Fenster in der Nacht offen).

Es ist ein altes Hotel , welches eigentlich mehr ein englischer Pub mit Hotel.ist. Entsprechend groß ist auch die Auswahl an Bieren und Whiskey.Eine Renovierung tut dringend Not. Das Bett ist zu weich und die Matratzen deutlich zu schmal. Wir waren dort einige Nächte. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und die Terasse lädt ein bei schönem Wetter dort zu sitzen..Das ein Hotel mit Kreditkarte zu bezahlen ist , ist Standard. Ärgerlich und unnötig verteuert sich dies , wenn auch die im Pub eingenommen Speisen und Getränke nicht bar bezahlt werden können. Dies wird auf der Homepage des Hotels jedoch leider überhaupt nicht erwähnt und macht den Urlaub dadurch noch teurer.
