This really is a gem of a hotel. It's a family run business, and because of this, the hospitality and service are second to none. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning and were greeted by Dino, who welcomed us and showed us to our room, number 172. The balcony had a beautiful sea view and also overlooked part of the local village. The walk to the beach is a pleasant walk, probably 20 minutes down a steep hill. My wife and me are in our mid fifties and managed the walk to and from the beach with no issues. The beaches are stunning if you are prepared to walk a little. The local village has ample restaurants and bars, all at reasonable prices. There's a local bus which we used several times, I would recommend a visit to Afytos, it only costs a few euros. If you are adventurous, there is a lovely walk to polychrono, which takes approximately 1 hour. Thank you, Daphne, Dino, and Eleanor, for making our stay a special one.
