We recently stayed at hotel Medusa and had the most amazing time there. The hotel is family owned, the whole family works there and truly make you feel so welcomed. The service throughout our stay was exceptional from everyone we met. We had originally booked for 5 nights and ended up extending as we enjoyed so much. It is in a perfect location less than a 5 minute walk from shops, cafes, restaurants etc and the beach is an only 20 minute walk or 5minute drive. I can’t recommend this hotel enough! We’ve already booked to go back!!

This really is a gem of a hotel. It's a family run business, and because of this, the hospitality and service are second to none. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning and were greeted by Dino, who welcomed us and showed us to our room, number 172. The balcony had a beautiful sea view and also overlooked part of the local village. The walk to the beach is a pleasant walk, probably 20 minutes down a steep hill. My wife and me are in our mid fifties and managed the walk to and from the beach with no issues. The beaches are stunning if you are prepared to walk a little. The local village has ample restaurants and bars, all at reasonable prices. There's a local bus which we used several times, I would recommend a visit to Afytos, it only costs a few euros. If you are adventurous, there is a lovely walk to polychrono, which takes approximately 1 hour. Thank you, Daphne, Dino, and Eleanor, for making our stay a special one.

Just returned from a week in Hotel Medusa & I can’t sing their praises enough! The hotel itself gives safe, home-from-home vibes, very clean, we went self-catering so in the room we got sink, hob & kettle which was perfect. We ate most days at the hotel bar, whether it was breakfast, snacks or a pizza (we LOVED the pizza so we went through many of them!…) everything we ate there was delicious and served very fast. The hotel is located in a beautiful little village, with a stunning beach a short walk away. There is a bus service to other villages which we used to go to Afytos which is another beautiful village with lots of little shops & another stunning beach. The hotel gave us a contact for a taxi man who we became very familiar with, a very lovely, friendly man who I contacted via WhatsApp & he picked us up very promptly every time! Finally, the biggest shoutout to the family who run this hotel, who made us feel so welcome the second we walked through the door & for the whole week, we felt like friends by the end of the week, and we cannot wait to come back & see everyone again ❤️

Floor ice cold. Beginning of May, yes not very warm yet. Stayed in first floor. Walls and floor to up super thin, heard all noices and it was not comfortable. Village is small, enough markets and taverns but all expensive. Not much routes to walk, very hilly mainly to ocean side. If you need action, seeing things, this is not your place. Pool area ok and rooms ok and clean.

We had great time at Medusa Hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful. It’s small family bussiness and you can feel that - everyone is friendly, caring of your comfort. The room was cozy, a little bit dark but that can be a plus when the sun is hitting hard. You can connect your TV in the room with Netflix and watch sth in the late nights. There is also a small gym, a nice pool and a bar at the hotel where you can spend your free time. We totally recommend this place! 🫶🏻

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Eleanor and Irene kept Monty (1 year) happy with his bucket and pebbles and the kids loved the pool, practicing cheer routines. I was able to enjoy the sun and reasonably priced cold beers. We didn't find it too busy and although it was a mixed crowd (some families were a bit rowdy) everyone seemed to get on well. Daphne the owner is constantly working, looking after people. Monty even struck up a friendship with the cleaners who would call him "gubler"(doll). We got to know the family running the hotel and felt a little sad to be leaving. Monty says hi!

Wonderful family run hotel. So friendly and helpful. Beautiful. The rooms are nice too. Very clean. All types of rooms catered for from room only to self catering and full board. Great pool. I must say though, some people expected to get everything . Some people you would never be able to please. Just difficult people in general. Some nationalities forget they are representing their country. Their behaviour was disgraceful. But the wonderful family did their best to try to keep their guest happy and tried to cater to their ridiculous needs. The family are so wonderful. Daphnia the hotel mum is a beautiful lady . Achilles her husband a happy man And the young adults Dino and his beautiful sister are a credit to their mother and father. I felt so included and cared for. So anyone who posts poor reviews are being snobbish. Not worth the reading. Seriously you would love this family hotel. The other staff are lovely too. That explains why people have been returning for years.

Just returned home from another fantastic stay here , this was our 3rd time. Such a friendly family run hotel with Daphne, Achilleas, Eleanor and Dino doing their utmost to help. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough ,we feel part of the Greek family now. Ignore the odd negative review ,some people moan about anything, look at the most positive ones! We can't wait to return next year and hopefully meet up with friends we have met previously who keep coming back. And yes you do pay hotel tax and for the air-conditioning but that's same for all hotels I've stayed in Greece. Hotel usually does a bbq one night a week with greek dancing.(which is fun) Bar snacks available throughout the day.

Whilst we sympathize with this family run property trying to make ends meet we feel it is our duty to share the way this establishment appears to operate. The rooms allocated to the Jet2 guests appear to be the ones that have broken windows or a leaking toilet. If you like noise day and night and into the small hours then most of the rooms can her the drunken brawls and loud music. A blind eye also seems to be turned to the people smoking illegal cigarettes around the pool in the day time. The hotel is on a very steep slope and it's around 1 kilometre from the beach. There is no shuttle bus. On the website the rooms have a small kitchen but if you've opted for bed and breakfast you will not be provided with any pots or pans. The breakfast is very basic and in a poorly lit area. The coridors are also poorly lit in the daytime. The only positive about this hotel is that it is about a 5 minute walk, albeit uphill from many nice restaurants.
