Nice hotel with free parking.
Staff are super friendly, with lots of smiling faces at reception and at the breakfast restaurant.
Oh, the housekeeper folded up our pajamas into a dancing couple ! So lovely ! Warmest stay in our Austrian trip！
Location is between the historical town center and the Danube. Takes about 10-15 minutes to walk in either direction.

For me, the number one thing about Hotel Unter Den Linden is the location. I had a 6:10am train the next morning that I had to catch and the hotel is 1 kilometer (walking) to the train station. But it is also only 350 meters to Steinertor, the gateway entrance to the pedestrian section of the Altstadt. That said, it is a clean, fairly ordinary hotel, which is fine with me. The cost was quite reasonable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff was friendly. I was able to drop off my backpack in their storage area before the check in time. I see from other reviews that the breakfast is good, but, unfortunately, with my early train I had to miss it. The inner courtyard has outdoor seating and a swing for kids. It's a large hotel, lots of rooms, so vacancy was not a problem. Even though its on a corner, I heard no traffic noise, and my room was on the ground floor.

We were passing through for a one night stay, from Vienna, heading for Melk. The hotel is well located near the highway but in the small quiet town of Krems. It offered a nice night's sleep and a complete breakfast. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean! There was no air conditioning but the evening was cool and we could open the windows. Our room was facing the street but the town was quiet at night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There was free parking on the premises. Thank you!

The room was large, quietly and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower and toilet were in separate rooms. The wifi was easy to setup and very fast. Our stay included a breakfast that was excellent with a lot of options. The staff were all super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone that looking to stay in Krems.

We stayed at the Unter den Linden for one night in July. On-site parking was available. The room was small but comfortable, clean and quiet. There was no air conditioning, so it was hot at night as it was a particularly warm night. There are a number of restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The breakfast was fine with good wholemeal bread. The hotel had a quiet and efficient air about it with well trained and helpful staff.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The outside is nothing special, but inside is spacious with a large spiral staircase and very large rooms. We had room 106 that was very large by Austria standards (even by US standards) and was decorated nicely with simple country-style decor. The room was very clean, not smoky and had a large, clean bathroom with nice touches. The TV in the room had CNN so we were able to catch up on some news. Staff was friendly and spoke English well. The location was not too close to the sights in Krems (15-20min walk), but the hotel is on a nice street with plenty of parking. Finally, the breakfast was by far the best we had in our 2 weeks in Austria. They had 2 long tables filled with meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, veggies, fruit, cereal, and they also had a variety of juices to choose from as well as coffee and tea. The breakfast room was also very sweetly decorated. The breakfast was above and beyond and I was extrememly impressed!

This hotel is situated in a lovely spot, about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Krems and about a 10 – 15 minute walk to Stein. Parking outside the hotel was easily accessible and we arrived early but were still able to check in. The staff were friendly enough but just slightly stand-offish at times. Not rude, just keen to get on with their job without offering any pleasantries. The room was very spacious and bright, and had a lovely view of the gardens. The bathroom was a little basic but clean and fully functioning. Breakfast was also good, and the fresh eggs cooked to order were a great addition. Perhaps a warmer welcome from the staff would have made us feel more welcome.

This hotel is a gem in the beautiful Wachau region. The entire house including the guest rooms is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and functional. The personnel is exceptionally nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation to anyone coming to Krems for leisure or business.

We stayed here for two nights. Very nice and a very functional room. A very well planned and functional bathroom. The breakfast was superb with lots of choices. Next time we are in the neighborhood we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
