Emerald Hotel

Friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in, we have returned for many years. Clean hotel and rooms and the food is amazing. The staff are lovely and always say hello and make an effort to address you by name. They are always willing to help if you need anything. The hotel is located near to a mini supermarket and a larger one up the road. The bus stop is also just up on the main road making transport easy too. An authentic Chinese restaurant is just a 5 minute walk, up on the main road also. We love coming to this hotel, and wouldn't chose anywhere else in rhodes, it's like seeing family with each visit. Very welcoming and friendly family-run hotel. Reception staff are very helpful and obliging, extremely pleasant and greet you warmly each time you entered. The accommodation is basic but adequate. Self-catering facilities are minimal but there is a great supermarket just a couple of minutes walk away to buy local foods for lunches and snacks if you don't want to eat at tge bar. The rooms were very clean with daily housekeeping and bedding and towels were changed mid-week. Air-conditioning and safe key were available for an extra charge. The grounds were well-maintained and the pool area tidied every evening and hosed down every morning. The pools were never crowded and were very clean. All staff (reception, bar, service, housekeeping) were very friendly, pleasant and obliging and the poolside drinks service was very welcome. The hotel is a short transfer from Rhodes airport and a bus ride from Rhodes Old Town. The area itself is quiet with a good supermarket and a friendly taverna/bar with live music (and great food) just a couple of minutes walk across the road. We had a lovely relaxed and stress-free holiday. Thank-you, Emerald Hotel! 👍

Very basic accommodation with a lot of ants in the room, when spoke with reception about this was advised yes it’s a known issue. The cooking facilities would be no good if people were self catering and wanting to save some money by cooking. The double bedroom was two different size single frames put together which meant a large gap in the middle which was not ideal. Air conditioning is not included and is an added cost which is not made aware until you check in. One of the pools was murky for most of the holiday which didn’t exactly make us want to get into the pool. The breakfast buffet was one of the most basic I have ever encountered and a lot of the items were constantly awaiting to be replenished. The food and drinks you could purchase was lovely but pricey compared to eating out. 2 small bottles of fizzy pop and a small bottle of orange juice was over €9 for example and the draft beer was not very nice. The staff are all very lovely and friendly and despite the ants the rooms and hotel are very clean. It is a lovely quiet hotel, no issues getting a sun lounger round the pool at any time and quiet at nighttime. There is no daytime entertainment which wasn’t an issue for us but the nighttime entertainment is also very limited. There is a saxophone player on a Monday, a Greek night on a Wednesday with food at an additional cost and a singer on a Friday but this is the same every week. We did have a lovely relaxing holiday but unfortunately would not return back to this hotel.

This was our first visit to Greece and we will come back thanks to Emerald hotel and the great staff there. The room was cosy and clean thanks to the housekeeping. Special thanks to the staff lovely Maria, Euridika, George and Taxi. Dear Maria and Euridika thanks for always helping us with our questions and greeting us with a big smile and feeling us welcome. This wasn’t my first visit in Greece and it surely wont be the last! I had an excellent experience in Rhodes and a part of that was this hotel. The best part of the hotel was the service. Maria at the reception was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Our first time in Emerald Kremasti and couldn’t be happier! The room was cozy and had all that we needed. Had a lovely time sun bathing at the pool area and it was nice to cool down in the pools in the warm weather. Special thanks for Maria at the reception,, we had a lot of stupid questions but she always helped us and always greeted us with a big smile and made us feel welcome.
