This Hotel deserves certainly the name Bellevue - Slovenian for Belleview. The view from the huge balcony the rooms facing the mountains have, is just breathtaking. Because it is several hundred meters above Kranj and the Sava valley it has also a nice overview of Kranj. The drive up the mountain is another highlight. I almost forgot to mention with all the views that the room was very clean and had everything for a pleasant stay. Staff was also nice and professional. Highly recommended!

I arrived late at night and upon entering my room there was the biggest spider I have seen for ages he looked like he was angling for a punch up and if it had happened he would have won, but I struck first with a towel and the contest was over, or so I thought! Next I had to deal with a cockroach and other flying bugs. To top it all off the walls had the bodies of other dead bugs, the bathroom was in poor condition with damp etc so not great. After sleeping with one eye open I ventured down to breakfast which was a paltry affair and nothing to get excited about. I did point out the failings to the manager and the response was “there is not at lot I can do about that” I was not angling for a discount only a serious ability to recognise where they can improve. The hotel does not have a lift or internal ramp for guests with disabilities which in this day and age is disgraceful. On a positive note the young girl on reception during my arranged late arrival was a pleasure to do business with. The hotel offers spectacular views and a great sunrise

Locarion is beautiful. Quet and the view from the rooms is beeathtaking. Large yard with nice restaurant, playground and a parking lot. Room sizes are average, but no air conditioning just a ceiling fan. The room decoration is very minimal. The balcony has only 2 chairs but has good size. Average bathroom. Nothing extra but has everything you need. Old skool room keys, instead or chip cards. No elevator! Pulling up heavy luggage to the 3rd or 4th floor is a challenge, especially for eldery people. Breakfast room is very small, if there were 8-10 persons, it can be full and feels crowded, but the selection is good along with the quality of the food. Most of the staff are nice, helpful and smiling when you see them. However, an older waiter had very limited english skills and he was unhelpful and not really friendly. Overall, the missing elevator is a big issue but if you want to start your cliffhanger tour in the hotel, it’s OK for a vacation.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and we loved it. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and the view was amazing. The location is perfect...on top of a mountain, not too far from Ljubljana and Lake Bled. We had a large room on the top floor with a large balcony. Breakfast was really nice (7-10 AM). Parking is on the hotel grounds. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

This is a kind of hotel, probably a class of its own. It is located far away from the town of Kranj, on top of a small hill, but it is not really a resort hotel as it does not have any facilities. The building is a bit aged, and it does not even air-conditioned. Though it was not too hot at night because of its mountain top location, you cannot open the windows (no fly screens) because of bugs. It calls itself a hotel, but the front desk is staffed at limited time. After 6PM, the main entrance is locked which you can open it with your room key. But I am not too sure how new guest can check in after hours. That said, the included breakfast is relatively good and adequate. However, the dining area was a bit hot without air conditioning.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Die Einrichtungen verdienen eine Renovierung, aber die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Das Personal, bis auf die Frau, die die Bar bedient, sind sehr unfreundlich. Das Frühstück war gut. Parken ist kein Problem. Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug und keine Person, das beim Gepäcktransport hilft.
