Bnbbonaire Near the Ocean

We had a wonderful stay at BnB Bonaire. Our apartment was very spacious and featured a fantastic outdoor terrace/living area equipped with everything you could possibly need during a visit to Bonaire. The complimentary airport pickup was a real treat after our long journey from Amsterdam. We also loved that snorkel masks, water shoes, and beach towels were provided—such a convenient bonus. The location is excellent as well: both the town of Kralendijk and a small shopping center with a great Italian restaurant are within easy walking distance, so you don’t always need a car. Our host, Karin, was exceptionally helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. All in all, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable holiday on Bonaire.

We absolutely loved our stay at BNB Bonaire and would stay here again next time. Karin was the best hostess! She really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. She was lovely and was always working so hard to make all the guests feels welcome and happy. She even called the hospital on her phone for us because my husband was injured and needed to make an appointment but we don't speak Dutch nor did we have a working phone. Our room was spotless, and when I say spotless I mean the screen didn't have a speck of dust on it. We used to clean rentals for a living and we know clean when we see it! There is a kitchen in our studio with a fridge and burner and kettle and toaster but there was also an outdoor kitchen and a nice communal space which we enjoyed with some of the other guests we met there. It was nice and quiet and our studio even had an AC unit which I didn't realize, it was very nice for sleeping at night. We enjoyed seeing the resident Iguanas hanging out up in the palm trees. There is also a gear washing and hanging station which I didn't know was there either and I was quite happy about! The parking is very easy outside of the bnb on the street and there was a wall around the whole thing with a locking gate which made me feel very safe. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and the front beach walk right by the dive site Something Special. We loved out stay and would return again!

We loved our stay at BNB Bonaire! The room was clean and very quiet at night. We had everything we could ask for and felt safe at all times. There is a wonderful restaurant a short walk away if you want to have breakfast or lunch. Walking downtown also is very easy from here, there is a walk right along the ocean that is clean and safe. Karen was awesome!! She was very helpful picking us up at the airport and back and very willing to provide information and help in any way. We will miss Karin and the Island of Bonaire!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had the pool and the hammock all to ourselves. The communal kitchen was great and it was fun to eat under the palapa. Karin was super helpful with her rides and great tips. This is a great place to stay as it's within walking distance to the capital. We even saw quite a bit of marine life during our daily walks, including an octopus! Highly recommended. Would stay here again.

Amazing host and amazing place. We had the best time on Bnb Bonaire. The patio and Pool are amazing , the Studio was great for our stay. There is an outdoor seating area and outdoor kitchen that came in handy to interact and share with other guests. The host Karen is amazing , she helped us with everything, provided us a car to rent, tips to visit Bonaire and was always available to help with anything we needed. Overall 10 of 10 !!!

The owner of this place is a liar and a thief. Do not trust what he says and do not do business with this dishonorable person. I rented a place for two months and during the final week of my stay he approached me and said he didn't receive the full payment amount and asked for $200 cash. I thought this was odd given that my bank account showed the correct amount had been transferred. However, I didn't have any reason to doubt him and thought my bank made a mistake. When I returned home I confirmed with my bank that the transfer was correct. I asked him for a copy of his bank statement and his OWN bank statement clearly showed that he received the proper amount. When I emailed him asking for an explanation for his lie, he did not reply. I provided a 250 Euro deposit to reserve the unit. After I left I asked for it to be refunded. Despite the fact that he acknowledged that I am entitled to the FULL deposit to be returned, he has said he won't be returning it. Now he won't respond to emails. I am now forced to explore legal options. Do not rent from this person.
