Loved Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort! We had a day pass for this resort as we heard good things and wanted to check it out for a future stay. The check in process was easy. We had our choice of beach chairs and selected some under a tree for shade through the day. The snorkeling right off the beach was great. Note the beach is rocky and very big rocks lead into the water - water shoes are a must and care is needed (but use your snorkel mask to see what is there and you will navigate fine). The pool and lazy river were cool and refreshing. We were there in May midweek and it was not crowded. The restaurant/bar on site had great food and drinks. It was a really lovely day. We would definitely plan a longer stay at this resort or return for a day pass.

We came here for breakfast. Big, tasty portions. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. After breakfast we walked around the resort. New and well set-up. Cool river around the resort where you float in the water flow. Beach beds, restaurants & bar facilities.

Perfect place to stay. Only 1 km walk to downtown. Good snorkeling on site, a dive shop on site, the pool and beach bar were great. My only feedback for consideration is to add more plant based options on the menus; the grocery store has a ton of plant based options and so do many other restaurants. The only other comment is the pillows are too sparse. Everything else was perfect. We will be back. We have to, we adopted a donkey :)

Just came home from a fantastic 15 day stay at Chogogo. We loved everything about our stay here. We stayed in room 6004, ground floor room facing the lazy river and beach. We had a perfect location. Room and resort were extremely clean, and staff were friendly and helpful. We found the location of the resort was great, lots of places to eat in walking distance. We ate at the resort a few times and food was fresh and good. We read reviews prior to coming about no soap in the bathroom sink or hand towels/face cloths. So we brought our own from home. Easy solution. We rented a golfcart from Bonaire Cruisers for the majority of our stay and it was amazing! Would highly recommend Chogogo

Second time on Bonaire but first time at Chogogo. Nice resort with very friendly staff at the Reception and also at the different restaurants and bar. Food good and even excellent at the Bari restaurant. We had 2 rooms with connecting door, which is very convenient for 4 people. Good beds and everything you need. The only thing what is missing is Hand Towels at the lavatory in the bathroom as well hand soap. Dive Center Scubado Bonaire on site is great with extremely nice people and our 2 sons have done their Open Water certificate (Thanks Noa). We have done also several dives with Scubado Bonaire and can only recommend it. It general very good vacation and we will return.

property was was great overall, pool, lazy river, rooms, restaurants all good, would definitely stay again. Had a two bedroom connecting room , plenty of space for two people.Great location w/ pool and lazy river steps from our patio. A couple of things i noticed that could be better were more menu options at Bari and Sunset, daily specials would be nice, also no bar soap or microwave in room personaly we had no use for it but most rooms today have one, parking lot is very tight if you have an off site rental pick up and last thing , front desk knowing that we were from usa never offered us power adapters, but overall we loved the resort and would definitely stay again.

Chogogo is a beautiful property! The beach, the pool, the lazy river, the restaurants, the atmosphere - I couldn’t ask for me. What a wonderful place to vacation. I can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for the first two weeks of March at Chogogo in a Deluxe Garden View apartment. Generally we were very pleased. The staff is great. Everyone spoke English. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the house reef was great for diving and excellent for snorkeling. The main restaurant on the property was very good and the premiere restaurant was excellent. Our only gripe was the lack of comfortable chairs in the room and the absence of a microwave oven in the kitchenette. There really is no good place to just sit and relax in the room; you’re either at the kitchen table or in bed. This might work for a shorter stay, but for two weeks, it’s not ideal. That said, we loved Chogogo and plan on returning. It offers great value.

We stayed 8 nights as a family of 4 in March 2024. We loved Chogogo for its spacious rooms (we had 2 rooms connecting), pool, lazy river and beachfront with great snorkeling. The food was great although restaurant service sometimes slow but we are North American so the standards may just be different, not necessarily a bad thing. Overall highly recommend for a family vacation.
