Hotels in Krakow with Swimming Pools

Just back from 3 nights at Hotel Unicus Palace - an amazing experience from start to finish. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, going above and beyond for guests. Always plenty staff at the front desk & spa reception. They made our stay so easy! The rooms are beautiful, cleaned daily & to a high standard. Location of the hotel is ideal, only a minutes walk to the main square. Loads of shops & places to ear near by. The spa is amazing - hot tub & pool always very clean and so relaxing. My partner proposed to me whilst we were staying at the hotel - the trip was incredible and the hotel will always be special to me for this reason. Thank you for a great stay.

A pleasant spa zone, a large swimming pool with attractions, e.g. counter-current, waterfall. There is a jacuzzi for several people. Unfortunately only 6 sunbeds and a sauna with a glass door in view. Delicious breakfast, a large selection of dishes from the a la carte and in the buffet (there is even sushi). It's worth coming for the breakfast alone. The air conditioning in the room resets to 22 degrees every time you leave, it's a bit too cold.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. For a hotel whose main purpose is to service conference guests, it is unfortunate that the in-room WiFi connection is utterly unreliable and makes working impossible - the signal could not support any remote working. I had to use my non-Polish cell phone data as a hotspot for my laptop. This is a huge issue that really needs to be resolved for business guests ASAP. When I complained about this, I was told to use the executive lounge for a better connection - yet I can hardly inflict a 2 hour long Teams meeting on the other lounge guests. The hotel road access must also be mentioned - frankly the design is stupid. The single access lane with boom gate to the hotel is constantly blocked by a steady stream of taxis and food delivery cars. They park there while waiting for customers or to drop off food orders, so guests cannot enter and must wait around - on one occasion this was for 5 minutes and the driver was rude and aggressive when I politely requested he move and wait elsewhere. Breakfast at the Fifth Avenue restaurant is barely acceptable - I have had better free basic breakfasts at a Hampton Inn. The quality of the food is lacking, but also the poor preparation/cooking really stands out - e.g. undercooked, cold hash browns. The guy on the desk was obnoxious and acted like it was my fault my name wasn't on the list - even though my Honors loyalty status means I'm automatically entitled to breakfast as a benefit. Apparently I was to blame for a lack of communication amongst hotel staff. The restaurant itself was heaving with poorly behaved guests, children running around screeching and spilling liquids. The young wait staff was overwhelmed - needed tables were left uncleared. I had to do this myself, then ask twice for fresh cutlery/china. The quality of food from room service was equally sub-standard and disappointing. The parking ticket machine does not work. After wasting a ridiculous amount of time trying to pay for parking, I went inside to reception where the guy laughed and said 'Oh no, it doesn't work. Pay here at the desk'. Maybe put up a sign? Guests should be aware that the pool is shared with guests from the adjoining Hampton. Apparently it's not intended to be used by child free adults before 20:00 - the rest of the day it's taken over by noisy kids playing ball games who prevent actual swimming. If you need to withdraw money from the automatic teller machine - good luck doing this of an evening when the area is closed off and inaccessible. Finally, the mattress was uncomfortable. Neither firm nor soft, just lacking in decent springs/support and in need of an update. The one positive was the evening happy hour at the executive lounge. Good quality options - goulash soup really good. The two male waiters very helpful and good at clearing and monitoring. Given the inconvenient location away from the city centre and the overall average quality of the hotel's offering, I've asked my company to avoid booking future stays

Great week vacation. Visited Krakow for a week vacation with another family. Beautiful hotel amazing views from the rooms. Rooms very clean with very nice design. Book a river view room with club lounge access. Great lounge with amazing afternoon beverage and snacks offering. The breakfast is the best ever had. Big variety and great service staff. The location Is the best in the city close to wawel castle and only some minutes walk from the main marker square. Krakow is beautiful city. Authentic buildings and many restaurants and cafes . Very friendly city for bike and walks.

The location is very good, next to the central square, and most of the famous attractions are concentrated in the old town, so it is very convenient. The breakfast at the hotel was great, although the choice was not too much, but the quality was high. The only thing that is criticized is that the room is a little dim, but the front desk staff is very good. I will choose this store next time in Krakow.

The hotel is the on the verge of old town, pretty far away. It's okay for business travel. I like it because the room is bigger comparing to other four star hotels in downtown.

This is not your typical review. Much must be revealed about our experience. We have never been anywhere in the world where the entire staff made every day very special. If you are inclined to make friends with a hotel staff this is the place with open arms. The hotel was magnificent along with accommodations, the Gavi Restaurant should qualify for a Michelin Star, so should the bedding and pillows,but again, it was the staff that truly made our stay. These are our friends; the receptionists are Zofia,Weronika Natalie,Ilona,Rafal,Michal. The bellboys are Michal,Dominik,Wojciech,Jakob,Max Breakfast staff,Claudia,Gabrysia,Joanna The extraordinary Gavi restaurant Staff includes Krzysztof,Manu and the Third level Sommelier Mateusz. Yes they have the Wine Spectator Award for excellence the last three years. If you wish for the ultimate in enjoyment and relaxation Bachleda Luxury Hotel is the place. Plus you get to meet the fantastic Martha who put together such wonderful people. We hope to experience this joy again. Mark and Gail Aylward

Just checked in and it feels like home. Staff could not be friendlier. Recommending things to do and then setting up tours. This is the place to stay! Great location. Right by everything. Beds are comfy rooms are well appointed but it’s really the people who make this place shine.

Very perfect experience! The hotel is very, very clean, the rooms are large, the facilities are complete, the surrounding scenery is very beautiful, there are large and small supermarket shopping centers. It is close to the station and the central attractions. If you are traveling for leisure, you can actually walk on foot. The service at the hotel was surprisingly good. When we arrived and left the store, we carried big boxes. The front desk staff came out and went to the office to handle the procedures. What is even more touching is that we arrived 5 hours early. We asked if we can save the luggage first. Then we will check back after noon. The girl at the front desk said that I would help you to see if there is a room that is not ready. If you have any checkin, please check it out early and then find a room! ! The service of this hotel is really rare in Europe! European hotels do not provide dental equipment, this must be prepared by yourself, others have.
