My friend booked this 'aporthotel' for our 5 day trip in May. She booked what was described as a 'deluxe suite' with two bedrooms, a dining area and a kitchenette. We arrived very late on the Thursday evening and got into our room which was one large room that had a desk with a tea and coffee station on it (described as the kitchenette), a dining table in the middle of the room, a sofa bed one end and a double bed the other end, with one bathroom to share for the 4 of us staying. The sofa bed only had one single duvet so my friend and her partner had to share bedding only adequate for one person for two nights as we were told staff were unable to access the linen cupboard - for two days? They brought us breakfast to our door each morning. This was disappointing as it was essentially a continental breakfast in a bag. It was all cold and we weren't given any crockery or cutlery so we had nothing to eat with and had to use the spoons from the tea & coffee station to eat out food and spread the spreads they provided! This meant there was crumbs all over our table & floor as we had no plates. Leading on from this, we didn't once get any housekeeping. We were told we had to request this so we requested it on our second day and didn't receive it. We then had to request it AGAIN on our third day and stated that our towels were wet and dirty and our bins were overfilling. They then came that day and gave us fresh towels and emptied the bins. But this was all we received and they did not clean at all or give us fresh bedding. Finally, the door to our room was in the lobby of the apartments and it didn't have a curtain, just a blurred sticker on the door. So every time someone entered the lobby the lobby light would automatically switch on and would shine into our room during all hours of the night! The only good thing about the room was the air-con as it was 20 degrees and above when we stayed. The location is also good. I would recommend contacting the hotel if you are arriving late as we met a couple outside of the apartments one evening who hadn't been in touch with them and had no idea how to access the building or their room! I would highly recommend Krakow itself, besides the hotel, we had an amazing time in the city & I would definitely go again but would stay elsewhere!
