Aparthotel Delta Boutique

Very nice location in the historic area of Krakow. As there is no reception, checkin is done through e-reception which is an interesting solution. Rooms are very clean and despite being surrounded by nightlife the rooms are quiet.

Next to Kazimierz popular square. Close-by restaurants and winebar. The checkin was trouble-free and efficient. The room eas a bit chilly as we arrived, but heated up quickly. No warmth in bath floor, but bath and room was spacious. 20 min walk to Schindler’s factory and 20 min walk to the old town. We recommend staying here, and will too next time.

When arriving at the hotel, our key card wouldn’t work. We went down to reception and the woman couldn’t of been more unhelpful. She said I cancelled the booking two hours ago which I would’ve been in the plane in the sky at that point. When I tried telling her how to spell my Irish name she wouldn’t listen. Wouldn’t listen to anything we said in fact. Tried to get us to pay for our nights stay again. At this point it was 2am in the morning and we were just going back and forth with this lady. She would also just hang up the phone on us. Even though you need a code to get INTO the building that you only get when you book a room, she told us we had no booking. I emailed the help centre during this stressful hour and they sorted it for me immediately. Seemed like she tried to scam us. However, despite all of this. Our stay was lovely. The hotel was gorgeous and we couldn’t fault that. It would’ve been 5/5 if this experience did not happen.

I have to say, the apartment was beautiful and had amazing features. However, what completely ruined my stay was when I arrived at the virtual reception (which I now hate), the receptionist tried to tell us our booking was cancelled and tried to get us to pay for the nights we had booked again. When I attempted to explain to her that we could not get into the virtual reception if it was cancelled and tried to resolve the situation, the woman stopped answering whenever I rang the bell. She attempted to tell us that our stay was cancelled two hours prior to our arrival, which is interesting because two hours prior we were in the sky on the flight over. I’m very unsure as to how we could possibly have cancelled it from there or why we would. This completely ruined our stay in Krakow, and I would advise anyone who stays here to be very wary of this happening to them.
