Hotel is clean and well maintained. However, the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor. There is a 4th floor, where I stayed, and it is like an attic with no proper a/c and a small room

Excellent hotel in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, close to many quality bars and restaurants. Rooms are compact, but spotless and most importantly, a good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was typically European, plentiful and good quality. Good coffee, tea and jucies etc. Bed was extremely comfortable, only noise I heard was the refuse trucks, but nothing the hotel can do about that, it wasn't really early though. Krakow Grzegorzki railway station 10 min walk, trains to Wieliczka Salt Mine & Auschwitz from here, you pay conductor on train, very cheap & easy. Stradom Tram stop 10 mins opposite direction, buy tickets at the machine at the stop. Tourist tickets available, up to 72 hrs, minimum is 20 mins. The tickets work on buses as well, they can be one zone or 3 zone. Lots of museums, galleries, churches and exhibitions very close by, and others easily accessible by public transport or taxi. Plac Nowy, 2 mins away has a rotunda with varied street food stalls, and different types of market during the day Staff are extremely helpful and courteous, any problems resolved immediately. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Lift worked all the time and WiFi was good. This was my second visit to Krakow, and a return stay here would be no problem.

There are many, many things I will accept when staying at hotels. Slightly outdated decor, cramped rooms, and strange design choices are things I can absolutely live with. If I've made a choice for a functional, budget hotel, then that is absolutely my responsibility and I would never negatively review a hotel for that. However, my experience at this particular hotel has left me absolutely no choice but to leave this review. And, I can only hope that others who have the same experience make the same choice to leave a review so we collectively have the opportunity to save OTHERS from this fate in the future. My single, significant issue with the hotel was a completely unacceptable, pungent smell that awaited me as I checked into my room for the first time. It took me by surprise and needed a double take. The smell was impossible to ignore, and I simply couldn't begin to imagine what it would be like to sleep the night in the room. A friend of mine who I was travelling with, a native Polish speaker, raised the issue on my behalf with reception. We were informed that new carpets had been installed and that was the reason for the smell. I find this completely unacceptable as a response. If indeed the smell WAS the result of new carpets, I believe the hotel had a duty of care to better aerate all rooms affected for a much longer period before offering them to paying customers. In-fact, I was left wondering whether this might constitute a health and safety breach, as I simply cannot believe breathing whatever was creating the smell would be good for one's health. I had no choice but to abandon the hotel within an hour of arriving and find alternative accommodation in the city, at my own significant cost. I quite literally would never have dreamt of leaving such a damning review if the hotel expressed any sort of genuine sympathy, made an apology, and refunded the amount I'd paid. The room was simply not fit for occupation. There's no debate to be had, it's a matter of simple fact that would be recognised by anybody who walked into the space. I raised this with my booking agent who raised the issue with the hotel directly, and we were instantly refused any form of refund. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. This experience has caused me to leave a damning review warning anybody against booking a room here. And the whole thing could have been avoided with better engagement from the hotel management with paying customers. Poor form from the management. And here's hoping others will be saved from a similar fate here.

The Hotel is very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful. The location is perfect and the places we wanted to visit were within easy walking distance. The bars around the hotel were friendly and serving great beers. When I come back to Krakow I will book here again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Great location to all amenities. Highly recommended 👌 approximately 15 - 20 minute walk to Schindlers factory and the Ghetto Hero's Square. 10 minutes to main square and St. Mary's Basilica.

I was travelling alone but so glad I chose this property. The staff were warm & welcoming and answered my questions well. I felt safe in the area & it was a home from home - especially as I got a room with a cemetery view (I am an undertaker!!!) Thank you for a great trip

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms smallish but cosy, beds and pillows comfy and tea and coffee replenished daily. Bathroom and shower were good, lots of hot water and a radiator (handy for drying coats after the rain). It is a boutique hotel, not fancy but we loved it as it felt in keeping with the area. We weren’t disturbed by any noise our entire trip. Nice, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good, nice selection and eggs cooked on request. All receptionists were extremely nice and helpful and were able to answer questions or advise on trips or bars etc. nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping was very good also. Location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of the Jewish Quarter surrounded by bars, cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. Whether you turn right or left you’re spoilt for choice. The main square is a 20 minute stroll away and is worth a visit. We took the buggy tour on the last day which was perfect as it enabled us to see everything we had missed and all our questions answered. We did the Zakopane and Thermal Springs tour - fabulous ! We also did the Aushwitz-Birkenau trip, harrowing but something that needed to be seen and certainly puts things in perspective. By staying in the Jewish Quarter you are more able to appreciate the whole history of events that occurred during the war and occupation. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Our initial room was of a good size but was a curtain short, leaving a large gap. As the room was overlooked, we were offered another room, which was a lot smaller, but we were happier with this one. The shower head did not stay up but was soon sorted by maintenance. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was warm and cozy. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, fresh filled pancakes, freshly sliced fruit, cereal, yoghurt, mini croissants and pastries, and 3 hot options.

Nice cosy in a good location, plenty restaurants and bars. The room had a balcony which was nice for some outside space. Staff very friendly and arranged our airport transfers, we emailed them before we traveled. Hotel and rooms were clean, and comfortable. A nice breakfast available. The hotel is good value for money.
