Ao Nang Miti Resort

The staff at Miti Hotel are very friendly and nice. The room is spacious and comfortable. We live in a mountain view room, so we can watch the sunrise every morning! The room cleaning is also very good. When we come back from playing every day, we will clean it for us. The hotel has delicious halal restaurants. The reception helped us book the itinerary for our trip, and the airport transfer was super affordable and free. Overall the location of this hotel is good as it's only 5 minutes by taxi from Ao Nang Beach and not too far from Noppharathara for island tours.

I like the hotel because of the strategic location to halal food restaurant, just cross the road and you can go to eat. The hotel also very clean. I stay for 5 night and you can ask the hotel housekeeping to change the bedsheet and makeup your room. Infront of the hotel also have money changer incase you have finish your money to buy delicious food here 🤣. If you have tired body you can go massage. 7e and pharmacy is nearby. I think i have stay in this hotel almost 10 time. The hotel have renovate their room i think on 2022. You dont have to bring your shampoo and shower gel because they provided in the bathroom. The hotel supervisor and staff very friendly. I like them very much. They will advice you and give suggestion incase you dont know where to go and what to do. For my vacay this time i just want to rest and eat food because the weather is very hot on early January.

It's a nice hotel. The room is big, have small swimming pool, but who needs pool on Krabi. The location is just few minutes walking to the beach. Everything is great, except one big thing - there is NO safe!!!not in the room, not at the reception. I was shoked and if I knew this I would never book. I asked if there is any secure place I cam keep my documents and other important stuff coz I am not a backpacker. They said they don't have and who needs to rob it. Hahaha. And there are no cameras facing tye rooms. And so easy to come to your rom from the street. So if you have something important to put in a safe- don't book.. if you don't have - its a great place to stay. I also have been told they have safe rooms in better rooms, but I didn't see them when I was making my booking and I see they are always empty, there no guests. So maybe not only I couldn't book a room with the safe. It's on the photo ( the room with the balcony and sofa, 3 floors building)

Booked a bungalow here despite no reviews on trip and overall I think it was worth booking here. Staying at Ao Nang would’ve drained our budget trying to go to railay and phra nang beach since Ao nang isn’t as nice of a swim. There were a lot of great snorkeling spots and Tonsai Beach is a budget friendly choice without having to take boats every day! The bungalows overall are okay. The electricity shuts off from 6am to 6pm so there is no fan or charging during the day. There a mosquito net over the bed which is very nice because there are a lot of bugs. The bathroom was a little less than okay. When we checked in the bathroom floor still had a puddle of water because it doesn’t drain properly. No toilet paper, soap, or anything is provided so you have to buy your own. The faucet was loose and would move around when I turn the faucet on and off. The floor boards were old and although ours were okay, some could definitely give you a splinter if you’re not careful. We had one small trashcan and no room service the 4 nights we stayed. Everybody hangs their towel out to dry but the air was so humid ours never quite dried properly. The porch is very nice for after a long day of swimming. We sat on the porch with some snacks and thai tea and just enjoyed nature. You NEED bug spray. They have quite the amount of bungalows. Some have stairs, some don’t. We did and it was rickety a little. The people are very nice and also run the green valley restaurant. The “blanket” is just one huge towel. Tonsai itself is pretty small with just a street of restaurants and bungalows for tourists. It was worth it just being able to go to and from railay whenever we wanted without having to pay 100 baht per person per trip. Phra nang has beautiful snorkeling and was our favorite spot! It’s about 40-45 min walk away but most of it is on flat concrete ground. To get to railay from tonsai you’ll have to do a little hike through the jungle or at low tide you can walk across the rocks around the cliff.

Ton Sai Bay
All dark wood and very grounding traditional thai bungalows. The views to the beach from the front ones are bliss! The rest are all very close so don’t expect much privacy on your deck. Clever design. Simple. Affordable. Good wifi, water, aircon. No daily service. There’s rooms at the back that look cool and cheaper than the huts. I’d stay in them if not absolute front. The bed was crazy hard, but it may have just been mine. No top sheet, odd, just 2 Chelsea blankets. Please change that if the lender reads this. Neighbour told us on our last day that the owner has a menu that you can order from and have delivered!!! Wish we knew that earlier as the walk to main part is 20 mins. Besides all that. BLISS to walk onto the beach and swim or lay on their beach chairs.

Very dirty room, the curtains are all stained, the floors are not washed. There is no partition/curtain in the shower, so everything is flooded with water, and there are also no shelves in the bathroom (taking a shower was very inconvenient and disgusting) The bed linen has stains and holes (we hope that the stains just haven’t been washed out..) The mattress is uncomfortable. The location is good (but we didn’t find it right away, Google maps doesn’t build the route correctly) There is a slight climb up the steps. The view from the room is wonderful! Beach towels were issued upon request at the reception, water also had to be asked each time (the room was not replenished) Cleaning upon request (but in fact only bed linen is replaced) There is a kettle, but to boil it you need to use the outlet near the bed. It’s better to walk along the coast to Long Beach, it takes about 30-40 minutes (do not follow the route Google Maps builds - it leads through the mountain)
