It was my first time in Africa and I encountered heavy rain. I actually only stayed in the hotel for one day and had to move to another camp. The hotel and restaurant were good, but I was really unhappy to encounter the flood. I don't know if the hotel fee included tips. When I left, the driver kept hinting that I should tip.

This is real Safari. It feels like living in a tent, comfortable, hygienic and safe. Every meal is fine dining carefully prepared. We cannot recommend Mara intrepids enough. We had a beautiful experience in large part due to our game drivers Joab and Mark who made the perfect pair who complemented each other. We were lucky to see such incredible moments and animals with them and form a family for 5 days. We packed our breakfasts everyday to do long drives and had bush breakfasts which really immersed ourselves in nature. Joab and Mark were so knowledgeable and passionate about all elements of nature. They made our trip an unforgettable adventure and we can’t wait to go back to see them! Everyone at reception, including Daisy and Cecilia, and our servers, including Vivian, were all so helpful and amazing. The grounds are beautiful - the infinity pool is really amazing and the location is perfect in the middle of the bush. Choose intrepids for a stay you won’t forget and request Joab and Mark!!!!

Beautiful campground! What I loved: 1. The bonfire talks before dinner 2. 5 star chief with beautiful presentation of food 3. Clean and well appointed tents 4. Hot water bottle warming the bed on the chilly nights. The only thing I didn’t like was turning off the electricity from 12 to 5 am. It was so dark you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face.

Fantastic stay and staff were absolutely wonderful. My second stay with Mara and I highly recommend. Tents are fabulous - I could permanently live in them. Food was amazing and on our last night we were given special Kenyan dish. Silas Siele drove us around (my 2nd time with Silas as my safari guide. He is easygoing, informative and thoughtful. Felt very comfortable with Silas. He made our Masai Mara experience exceptional. Will definitely request him to drive me around again. The nightly talks were great. Thanks Silas, Gregory, Daisy, Metrine, Elkanah, Jonathon and everyone else who made the trip special.

Luxury camping with lovely grounds, incredible food and friendly staff who go out of their way to help you have an enjoyable experience and to answer your questions. On days that include early-morning game drives or hot-air balloon rides, housekeeping provides an old-fashioned wake-up call by hand delivering hot tea or coffee along with cookies and chocolate croissants to your tent to make waking up so early a much more pleasurable experience. Simon was our guide, and he was knowledgeable and full of information about the animals, their behaviors and their habitats. He also went out of his way to provide the best viewing spot for photographing wild life.

Fabulous in every way - staff, tents, game drives, food, swimming pool, massage, Masai entertainment and more! A little slice of paradise with beautiful butterflies and birds in the camp as well as hippos and crocs seen in the Talek river. Can’t fault anything. We did not spot any mosquitoes but nice to have the Mosquitoe nets around the beds anyway! Simon, our driver on the game drives was absolutely great at finding every possible animal you could possibly want to see. An added bonus that we were right near the airstrip.

Wow! No other words to describe it! The guides were excellent, safe and courteous. We saw more game than we could imagine. The food is top level and the accommodations were luxurious and comfortable. This was a trip of a lifetime for our family.
