Koya Hotels with Breakfast

Overall, I was very satisfied with the 3-day, 2-night stay. Fukuchi-in Temple is in a good location, close to the bus station and the town center. You can visit all the attractions of Koyasan on foot. The room has a toilet, which is very grateful. Bathing is in the large bath. The hot spring cannot be compared with the hotel, but it is very good to have such facilities in the temple. The meals have to be praised. Although they are all vegetarian dishes and tofu, there are really many varieties and they are very delicate. Every meal is very filling. The staff of the temple are very nice and there is no bad service. I like the place to drink coffee in the morning. You can look at the scenery of the courtyard and be in a daze. You can go to the main hall at 6 o'clock in the morning to attend the morning class, which is very ritual. I also participated in the activity of copying scriptures in the evening, which was very quiet. Our room 49 is a bit off, but it is the highest and overlooks the entire courtyard (as shown in Figure 2). I am very satisfied with the location booked by Ctrip! This temple is very suitable for people who are experiencing stay for the first time!

Especially different accommodation experience. Surrounded by monasteries and being in a Buddhist resort, it is awe-inspiring. A series of activities such as meditation and chanting are arranged in the temple. Follow the monks in the monastery to do Buddhist deeds at the prescribed time. The food is vegetarian, very light and full. The door of the room is unlocked, but there is a safe in the room. Public toilets and public baths are fairly convenient.

The temple is really beautiful with stunning paintings in the dining room. There is a morning worship service you can join in which starts at 6am, but you can join any time as well as leave the service. Food is really delicious, I didn’t expect much from vegetarian dishes, but they were great. The amount of food is pretty decent, I didn’t feel hungry by the morning even tho I had dinner at 5pm. I traveled alone but I believe this room is specious enough for a couple. The convent location of the temple allows to walk to the main tramples and tourist office (where I got the night tour to the cemetery booked) as well as to the Eko-in temple from where that tour sets off.

Everything was perfect, from the kind monk who showed us the temple (he wasn't part of it) to the morning religious service. The welcome could not have been more friendly, the room comfortable, the view superb, and the meals delicious.

This time in Japan for 10 days, the favorite is Wakayama. This tourist route is relatively niche, with fewer Chinese tourists. A Nanhai tram goes into the mountain without any caverns. The room was clean and the monks were friendly. It is recommended that you choose a meal with a meal to experience pure Japanese cuisine. Stay for 2 days and travel in depth. Tickets are the most cost-effective way to buy Nanhai tram sets, including Nanhai trams entering the mountain from the urban area, returning to the city, and an unlimited number of transportation cars at all attractions in Wakayama.

After checking in in the afternoon, I went to the altar on the altar and rushed back to dinner at 5:30. Dinner is delivered to the room, vegetarian food, you need to eat more rice to eat, but it is very special. After the meal, the monks took the tableware away and laid the bedding on the tatami at night. I feel very comfortable and sleepy. At 5:30 in the morning, I got up and took part in the morning class at the 6:30 temple. I was so solemn and victorious that I felt some mysterious power. In the morning class, the bedding was received in the closet, and the breakfast was set up. I ate three bowls of rice and packed my bags. I asked for check-out before 9:00. We left our luggage in the monastery and asked to take it before twelve o'clock. We arrived at the baggage at 12:30. In the morning, the Aozhiyuan, Jingangfeng Temple and Lingbao Hall turned a big circle, and the Aozhiyuan lost its way, and walked nearly two kilometers. The trip to Koyasan purifies the soul, which makes me understand the development history of Dongmi and strengthens the determination to learn Dongmi.

It wasn't the most pleasant experience considering that the males n females had to share toilets and that some other rooms had private toilets n bath instead. And also the fact that the walls are super thin hence whomever is connected to your room if their loud or they don't like your voice volume than you might get kicked to the curb. It's a very frustrating experience for sure since it tests one's patience n ability to let go. It's training for the customers n monks alike. I met a Japanese friend here whom shared with me how rude the monks and the staff were to one another n I think that shows the quality of this place however we were pretty lucky as there was a male who spoke mandarin n a male who spoke English both quite well in this place n though the mandarin speaker was quite condescending towards the other monks, the English speaker was really nice n patient overall. He helped me out a lot since we couldn't communicate with the others n seemed to be the only customers that spoke English whom booked this place by ourselves, the others around seemed to have a guide n were usually in groups. It's a unique experience n I recommend just staying for one night or going to the other temples. I went for the ajikan meditation at eko in temple n the service n cleanliness was on another level for sure. The food here was also really simple. Also a must see are the tomb area n the walk to kobold daishi temple. As a sensitive person, I felt the overwhelming love n presence and the cleanse of my heart of this amazing soul over there. To me, that was worth it. Remember to clean yourself with the water out front before going in.... and of course to the amazing fateful friendship that occurred for us with the jap-********* couple we met. It was the next fav of mine after the time spent in nara visitor center. That was truly magickal n how I wished we stayed longer there. But all was good cause the way I planned this trip made it so that we would have this fateful encounter to the end of our trip.

It is said to be the imperial residence of Emperor Toba and Empress. It has a beautiful environment and the hardware is new and clean. The location is good, in the middle, you can walk to major attractions in ten minutes. There is a short uphill walk to get off the bus. I booked a Japanese-style room with a bathroom. I stayed in a room on the second floor. There was a small entrance hall, a sink, and a small bathroom at the entrance. It's very cold in Mount Koya in winter. With the air conditioner and heating on, the room is very warm. The breakfast and dinner of Shojin cuisine are very sumptuous. In the morning class, the master will lead the chanting of sutras and incense, as well as Azi Temple meditation. If you want to participate in the fire offering, you need to make reservations at other temples. There are dedicated people who come to the room to take meals and morning classes, and the service is very considerate. I’ll come back next time during the red leaf season.

Others have written very well. Sorry, there was a particularly old monk in the morning and evening meals, and we had morning classes with us at the same time, full of joy. The little monk is very good in English, and talked a few words. He graduated from a religious university. He was born from heart to heart, and sighed sincerely. They brought spiritual practice into their lives. The buses on the street and the timetable of the hotel are very detailed, and you can speak English. Both bus and cable car train times are well matched. The hotel is very beautiful, the columns of the stairs are made of whole wood, and the annual rings are dozens or hundreds of years. The only drawback is that there is a cover on the electric heater in the bathroom, which cannot be cleaned by covering all the dust inside. A lot of fluff has accumulated.

Koyasan is the closest place to Master Kukai. We stayed at the Nishizen-in Shukubo, which is located next to Danjo Garan. The Japanese-style rooms are on the second floor, and the restaurant is on the first floor. Breakfast and dinner are all vegetarian Shojin cuisine. There are sutra copying activities that can be booked. You can listen to the monks' morning classes in the main hall at 7 am. We were received by a Chinese woman named Li who spoke fluent Japanese. We arrived at 5:30 to check in. The other party was very impatient and thought we arrived too late and delayed her from getting off work, which was very inconsistent with the service quality of Japan. We did not introduce the content of the Shukubo to us. When we were sent to the room, the attitude was bad. He asked: ”Don't you see the teapot? Don't you have a fan?” The attitude of speaking was arrogant and inexplicable! It seems that as a tourist, I need to predict what the Shukubo will give us. Because of this, I give one star for the service!
