The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

The location of the property is good. The Kovalam beach is just a short walk although the property does not offer a direct access to the beach nor does it have a pvt beach. That was a bit of a dampener. Staff and service is fine. Having said that... My previous experience with Gokulam in Kumarakom was so much better. Pool was nice and well maintained. The terrace Bar was the highlight for me. Live music, good seating giving an amazing view of the Sea. With the small fishing boats' lights twinkling under the night sky... It made for a great Postcard view. The food needs improvement though. The local sea food preparation was good (The meen pollichathu in particular was done brilliantly). The menu outside of local sea food delicacies needs a relook. The menu lacked depth and vegetarians would have a troublesome time. The room we stayed in was nice. Good sit out ... Sea facing. The Bath was good too. Some basic items appeared missing though. No room slippers, no floor mats (despite the rain and muddy beach). Found this strange. The activity room was decent. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you are not a vegetarian and will spend most of ur time outside. I found it a bit overpriced for what it had to offer.

Beautiful resort by the beach. Friendly and very helpful staff. The view was so breathtaking! The rooms were designed with the view in mind. Balcony, bedroom and the restroom(with the bathtub) had the view of the ocean. The only drawback is there's no direct access to the beach, but it's just a 5 min walk.
