"The receptionist wasn’t friendly at all. I have been to the hotel for few times. First time, I thought maybe only the specific receptionist want not friendly. But for the second and third time, all the receptionist was not friendly enough. Otherwise the hotel is good and the room is nice. The cleanliness was good too. Thank you."

"There are two different categories. 1. Rooms are renovated and 2. Exciting rooms
No. 2 category might/may smoking in the room. But I really do not recommend it and please ask the receptionist before check in. And you might have to add additional cost for upgrading.
Other than that, ok with budget accommodations.."

Very Good
SSnowflakes ❄️Overall it is a good stay. However, the breakfast area is very packed and the air condition doesn’t seem to be working. We went back for a dinner buffet as there’s not much choices around, the Italian restaurant is full. The Buffett dinner have limited choices and theres a lot of flies…. The staff in the kid club is very impolite. We are just trying to understand how my 1yo baby can be company and my friend have a 7yo kid with us. In the end we just decided not to stay inside with her attitude. Other than that, it was all fine. With the price that we are paying and the service provided, it is a little below the expectation, especially on the food and the kid club bad experiences.

AAnonymous UserGreat rooms but slightly pricey, would recommend only if going waterpark. Beach can be accessed by walking across to the back of Westin. Fill up your bottles at lift lobby, the water dispenser in room is abit cloudy.

MMissus DWhat a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment Security personnel is also helpful and friendly.
The room were clean and very comfortable, with many hand, face towels and bathrobe. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Desaru!
Check in and out was efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. Their customer service is also commendable and offered us an excellent experience.
We loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area. I will recommend others for sure!
Breakfast, comes with many choices and fresh prata/eggs cooked on the spot. Many eateries within arm's reach. Will come back!

All room are very clean and the bed quality is good.
Security officers are very alert at all times.
Cafeteria staff are very attentive and hardworking.
Only the parking lot near to receiption area are quite narrow, and check out prosedure quite slow due to require to call and check each room before returning our deposit.

AATravellerAlthough the resort exterior looks a bit old, the interior of the room still feels pretty good. Nice resort with a 'private' beach just 100 meters away. The Japanese restaurant in the resort was good, breakfast choices were well spread with different dishes in the 2 mornings I spent. Overall, a nice hotel stay despite raining continuously for the 2nd and 3rd day.

GGuest UserRequest to deliver food for sahur to room as I have a small kid but unfortunately they said don't have that kind of service. They insisted for me to go down to get sahur n leave my son in the room alone. Wth. Though paid the breakfast but it's just useless. There should be option for breakfast or not, so that I don't need to pay for something that I cannot use. Im travelling alone with a 6yo son.
Room is nice n spacious. Nevertheless we enjoyed the beach n pool.

Place is totally middle of the someway of Desaru & 5km to small town, budget & nice, good meal you can have.
I booked 2 rooms family side by side
But the first room a bit out during rainy 🌧️ time, have little bit smelly and the second room is okay.
The important toilet is clean.

LLimThe room air con is not fantastic.
The bed sheets and pillows got stains
The lift to the floors is not so clean and have an odour. The lobby is warm even with 2 small ceiling fans. The spa only 1 person working that day & could not accommodate more guests.
But very friendly and helpful staff and meet my needs asap.
Overall below my expectations of a resort spa hotel.
