A room with 2 single beds at a price that is not worth it. In the room there are no facilities for making drinks and ironing. The room is not that big. Need to climb a rather steep staircase to get to the room. Not suitable for the elderly. Had to park far from the hotel because that night there was a group at the cafe next door. Check in/out is quite fast.

The front desk very helpful, they insist us to register online for the membership valid for 2 years to get discount for RM10. The check in went smoothly. Ask the room nearly to the stair. The stair quite steep, may not suitable for old folks. The room small but comfortable.

The room was really small, the sanitation was not very clean, and the toilet was dirty and not clean. The equipment is also somewhat old. The service is OK, the type of reservation started to be wrong, and then Ctrip helped solve it very well, although we paid extra for it. There is a parking space outside and no breakfast.

Had a chance to stay at this T Hotel Tandop during my recent trip to Alor Star - Got the room at only RM 60 per night at Traveloka and had a twin bed room. The check in is simple - quick and fast - they took RM 20 for deposit and I was told my room is in Tower B (they have three tower for now). Parking is door front and is ample (at least I dont have issues getting a parking spot). The room is basic - less than 20 sqm - two beds - one desk and a hanging dresser and a small bathroom. Bathroom amenities is very limited (only one bottle for top to bottom wash). Room is clean and neat - no sign of rundown and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is simple - had nasi lemak bungkus which was yummy but is limited so go early. Overall I would say it is a good place for a night sleep - superb value for money. WIFI is also available throughout the hotel.

NNazdaWe booked this hotel as we have an early ferry trip to Kuala Perlis Jetty to catch the next morning. We booked 2 rooms including one with a balcony. The rooms were very clean with high quality linens, basic amenities and Young Living diffuser. One room had bottled plain water, the other one didn't have. But this is not an issue since they offer free local snacks and drinks from their fridge at the lobby. The toilets (including the one at the lobby) were super clean. There is no bathroom door, only curtain so if privacy is an issue you might want to book a separate room. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic, they offerred delicious nasi lemak, toasts and cereals. The issue here is that there is only one table with 3 chairs and one bench to accommodate all guests. During our stay the family who was sitting there took their own sweet time chatting after they were done, and ignoring the fact that other people were standing up waiting for them to leave. Some people can be inconsiderate urghhh. The hotel might want to reconsider the lobby cum dining space arrangement. I accidentally left my camera and the staff called me up to inform me and they kept the camera until I could come to collect it later. Major point there. Thank you👍🏻

NNurMuhamadOnce arrived, the hotel have a lot of open parking space, I was welcomed with such friendliness from staff at reception. Check in was fast and easily communicated. The room given to us was great with view of Alor Setar Tower ( Level 8). It was big room, clean and we were satisfied for the money paid. The food at restaurant is great. I would definitely recommended this hotel, since its located at center of town. Its near to the Pekan Rabu Complex. I will stay here again if I were to visit Alor Setar.

Take premium parking and paid RM30, but 3 times i go and out, need to lift that heavy stand alone. Their staff just watching from inside.
Hotel not well maintain, toilet got many stain. Even guest toilet at lobby dirty.
Breakfast just middle range good.

End of July I was staying with my husband and my toddler son.i don't mine if the hotel was old or else.however the service that the reception give so not called hotelier. The reception staff all are gentlemen,no politeness and happy to serve a guest. My room very clean and big.however the aroma when you open the room not nice.its smell so sticky. During night time there is no air conditioning.My kattle in room got problem we have report to them at reception but no action , I can't boil hot water to make my son milk.its need my husband come down at down stairs to take it by him self.the hotel staff not show that their wanted to help us. So for me even it's cheap but not worthy to stay if the staff not willing to help.

GGuest UserThis is one of the oldest hotel chain in Malaysia since 1995 if not mistaken, great locations at many major cities and places in Malaysia. Staff is working hard to please guests that’s encouraging indeed. However the only let down of this hotel is the facilities and amenities are not been replaced as owners seemed not interested in refurbishment. This is very sad for me as I do enjoy to stay at Sri Malaysia hotel chain, great location, ample parking space, but the run down facilities indeed a let down. Even breakfast spread is the same over the years, such a low end budget hotel. Hope the owners of this hotel invest and reinvest if not this remarkable hotel chain will slowly wipe out from the Malaysia tourism industry map.
