Over all are very good experience. Room was clean and tidy, value for money. Ideal location, near seafood eateries. The breakfast buffet spread is excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

An excellent stay again. Reception are friendly and helpful. Room are extremely Clean. I love my room. Important thing is this hotel room toilet using WATER SPRAY (MUSLIM FRIENDLY). This hotel is attached to shopping mall. Convenient. Many eateries too. Breakfast have many choices to fill your empty stomach. This restaurant coffee are excellent. ONE IMPROVEMENT NEEDED : Hope they will consider serving fruits too during breakfast.

The Le Meridien KK a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The location is just perfect, right at the city centre, facing the sea. Beautiful sunset view!! There are many places to eat within walking distance and the big malls are just 10mins away by Grab. The staff were very polite and always so helpful with suggestions of places to eat and shop. Great place to stay in KK!

First impression upon check-in wasn’t great. Was told that our seaview room would only be ready at 6pm. We were informed we would get a room on a high floor and we thought since high floor room would afford better views, the wait would be worth it. They said they would call us when the room was ready. At 6.15pm, we haven’t heard from reception, so I walked to the counter to ask about status of the room. They said yes it’s ready (but no one called us) ! Unfortunately they said the room on the high floor we were supposed to get had some fault/ problem and they issued another lower floor room for us. Not the kind of service we were expecting from a 5* hotel. Late check in / room not ready , making us wait 3 hours for our room was bad enough. An afternoon wasted and ruined our plans for the day ! Seaview room but window was small and no balcony to step out. Half of the view blocked by trees and could only see a bit of the sea. Bathroom is old, needs upgrading. One sink, old bathtub, small corner shower which felt a bit of a squeeze. Showerhead is fixed, can’t turn or change the angle. Water temperature not hot enough. Breakfast was so-so. Facilities around the hotel was good but our check-in experience left a bad taste in our mouths throughout our stay.

I recently stayed at Mercure Kota Kinabalu, and my overall experience was a mixture of positives and negatives. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, adding a pleasant touch to our overall experience. However, one notable drawback was the discrepancy in the room description. Despite being assured of a city view, we were assigned a room overlooking the opposite facing the busy road. While this may seem like a minor issue, it did impact our overall satisfaction, as the promise of a particular view was one of the factors influencing our choice. Another inconvenience was the lack of dedicated parking facilities at the hotel. This meant that my husband had to purchase parking coupons daily, adding an unexpected expense to our stay. Moreover, the strict enforcement of parking regulations by 8 am posed a challenge, especially for guests who preferred to start their day later. In conclusion, Mercure Kota Kinabalu is a decent choice for a short stay, offering comfortable accommodations and friendly service. However, potential guests should be aware of potential discrepancies in room assignments and the absence of on-site parking facilities, which may affect the overall convenience and cost of their stay.

Close to the airport but still have the privacy of having my own room to rest while waiting for my early morning flight. I booked for 3 days 1st to 3rd January, even though my flight was on the 3rd it was at 1.20am so I booked an extra day so I don't have to go to the airport too early. It's convenient because you can just self check in and check out. The wall was not sound proof as I can hear people outside dragging their luggage and occasionally speaking loudly but the tenants during my stay were overall quiet and not rowdy. It was a simple but satisfying stay, I like the garden view outside. The staff are pretty friendly and easy to communicate with even though I only meet some of them briefly.

The check in time took almost half an hour and I already booked through online. Suppose to be short time since already booked online. Room is spacious and comfortable. Food buffet for breakfast is deliciously satisfying. Sauna is currently under maintenance.

Spacious room can fit my family it comes with 2 queen beds (3 adults + 2kids). Only one aircond but there was a hanging fan too. Old furniture and it would be better if renovate this apartment into modern looks. U have to pay parking rm3/parking and if U go out at the same day, U have to pay again for rm3. From the parking lot, U need to steps stairs then U ll find a lift lobby huh not recommended with bulky luggage.

No WiFi in my room for 24hours. Complained some more the next day then they finally changed it. Self check in service apartment. Pool is nice , gym okay too. No food options convenient.
