Kota Kinabalu Hotels with Swimming Pools

I had a good stay at Ming Garden. The hotel was very clean, and the location is perfect for anyone needing to be near shopping mall. The staff provided excellent service, always friendly and helpful. The amenities were decent, though there’s a little room for improvement. Overall, it's a convenient and clean place to stay, especially if you love shopping!!

Good room… surprised to see separate rooms inside for 3 persons staying… 1 for couple and 1 more for single … really amazed with this… Things that are lacking probably is the shaver they don’t provide, internet not really connecting to the tv and limited 3 bottle of 500ml for 3 person..

I didn't realise it's the big room when do the booking. Unfortunately, I haven't fully utilised the facilities because I am busy with the exhibition. But I did a quick tour of the room. It comes with a balcony with a nice view. Separated hall & bedroom with big bathroom! 1 TV at the hall & 1 TV in the bedroom. It also has a fridge, microwave, and a stove for light cooking. The check-in & check-out were smooth & friendly front counter. I had a problem with the bedroom air-conditioning & they attended to it very fast! Breakfast has decent varieties. Parking is on the roadside - public car park, you can buy the parking coupon from the hotel. It's near Pasar Gaya, Pasar Filipino, shopping malls, convenience shops & restaurants. Overall, it is really worth the price. Good job & keep up the good works!

Very clean and new. Looks like being renovated. Came here for seminar as the talk is organized inside the hotel. The location is good as it is in the center of the city. Service is good except that check in counter only have 2 and average waiting time is about 30 minutes for check in. However, maybe due to the hotel is full, our rooms are not ready when we check in at 3pm. But the hotel upgrade our room to another available unit which we will give a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is good and many variety, only the structure of the dining area is very inconvenient as the dining area too small and many corners which is not convenient to obtain the food especially for the beverage counter. The dining que line is too long due to the location where both the coffee machine are too close to each other and doesn’t not have any turning point and the coffee machine is very very slow. Suggest to change to a bigger dining area as the dining area cannot fit the number of customers especially for a seminar of 200+ people and refill is slow and we only have 1 hour lunch time where queing for food already took almost half an hour. Other than the above, I am satisfied with the hotel.

I last stayed here back in 2011. I’m suprised to see how lovely the hotel is now. It had been fully renovated. Love the lobby and the restaurant. Didn’t manage to use the facilities there though. I shall make a return and try them out. Room was still as big as before. It’s beautiful now. Only downside was that i can never figure out how to connect my phone via Bluetooth to the TV. The bathroom was nice. Love the colours of the room and the bathroom. Room service menu is acceptable. But i have to commend. Room service is very, very fast. Asked to make up room, asked for laundry service, asked for ice and they’ll be at the door within 5-10mins. Never beyond 10mins, unlike some other hotels i’ve stayed in Singapore, KL, Penang, Istanbul, Canada, Malacca, Dubai, Nepal, New Delhi, Bali and Bandung. I am truly, very, very impressed. Check in and check out was a breeze. I will definitely stay here again in my next trip to KK. Thank you Le Meridien!

Arrived rather late from KK Airport and did a checked in late to almost midnight. Reception was busy at this hour with another group of 6 (family) of koreans also doing their check in. For the first night, the aircond did not cool down the room but informed housekeeping and maintenance next morning during breakfast and the team resolved the issue promptly . The room allocated is SPACIOUS . theres still available room to possibly fit another 2 single beds ! Location of hotel is superb as it is just beside Suria Shopping Centre. Breakfast selection is extensive and you get to see a good seaview AND a construction site of an upcoming Condominium. I love this hotels pool area and Poolside bar with the beautiful Sea view and Sunset . The Gym is located same floor as the pool. The TV in the room is a smart TV, I could surf and view youtube channels directly . Will i stay here again ? yes , and will choose a Deluxe category as these rooms faces the sea directly (sunset also)

The location is very convenient to most of the good eating outlets. Also in a prime location to major shopping malls, seaside and Harbour port to go out for islands hopping. We chose a sea view facing room and the view was magnificent. Also remember to go the beach for a beautiful sunset view. Will definitely choose to stay here again

We stayed there for my youngest sister's convocation day. The distance from the airport is bearable and near to every attraction of Kota Kinabalu. It was a great experience staying there as the room is spacious and clean. There was an outdoor swimming pool at level 3. The lobby is spacious and is comfortable for the Grab car pick-up and drop-off service. The staff were so friendly and their customers' service were very good. I will definitely come here again.

The location was good as all the eateries and convenience stores were within walking distance. However, I could only give as little as 1 star to its cleanliness. My wife found out that there was a blood stain on the bedsheet and we requested it to be changed to the guy at the reception. We requested it while on our way out for dinner and the receptionist notified the housekeeper to handle it before we got back. When we returned, the bedsheet was still where it was, so I called reception again and I was appalled that he told me they got to the wrong room. The room number was mentioned to the reception earlier, but I was just shocked they could make such a silly mistake as tedious as this one.

Well maintained resort and good service. Breakfast spread is good and yummy. Harbour is just 5-10 mins walk away to take boat ride to the Tunku Abdul Rahman islands. Boat ride is only about 15-20mins to the islands. Lovely great swimming pools for both adults and kids and a small private beach for snorkeling. Rooms are clean and spacious. Sunset is beautiful. Love the stay and we will be back. Thank you!
