"Great location, decent stay at Promenade Hotel Stayed at Promenade Hotel and overall, it was a pretty good experience—especially for the location. It’s close to the popular seafood spots and just next to Bataras if you’re keen to shop for local supermarket items. We also walked to Imago Mall in about 15–20 minutes. Was told it’s also near Centrepoint, though we didn’t walk there ourselves. Surprisingly good souvenir shop at the lobby Don’t miss the souvenir shop in the hotel lobby—it’s quite affordable, even cheaper than what you find at tourist spots. Worth checking it out first before shopping elsewhere. Breakfast and Rooms Breakfast was decent with some variation daily. We booked both the Superior Room and Junior Suite. • Superior Room: Faced old buildings and the sunrise. It fits 3 pax but felt a bit tight. • Junior Suite: Faced the sea and had a nice sunset view. We requested the third bed to be placed here instead, and it was nicely arranged. Rooms came well-equipped with essentials like toothbrushes, shampoo, and soap. Facilities & Tech Unfortunately, the swimming pool and gym were closed during our visit. TV had basic digital channels (DTV) but no Chromecast or smart features—an upgrade here would definitely help modernize the stay. Overall Comfortable and convenient, though the hotel ambience is a bit dated. Still, for what you get, it’s a solid stay."

"The room was quite spacious, equipped with a lounge chair and a desk. While the bed might be a bit snug for three people, it fortunately had wheels, making it easy to move. The facilities felt a little dated. A significant service oversight was that despite booking for three adults, all amenities were only provided for two, which was not ideal. The sea-view room offered a good view from the window, perfect for watching the sunset. The hotel's swimming pool is located on the ground floor, right next to a city road, which made its location a bit less desirable. However, the hotel's overall location is excellent, with famous shopping malls and food streets all nearby. The gentleman at the front desk was also very helpful. Overall, I was quite satisfied."

"It’s so beautiful hotel. With a lot of activities for kids and adult can enjoy different pool. No crowd as the hotel is really big I guess. Amazing sunset view and morning sea breeze boosted our vitamin D. Had great time here."

"Hotel was attached to a mall so there were a lot of options for food. Room was clean but small. No window in room. Not many amenities were provided suck as coffee kettle. Overall room was good value nothing extra ordinary."

"Returned stay. Don’t like pillows which are way too soft. Stain marks on pillow case. Housekeeping didn’t check on shower foam/shampoo dispenser and only found out when in shower that was empty. A bit frustrated and need to call to request when already wet and took quite a while to be delivered as well."

"We stayed as a family of three with our 11-year-old child. The two 1.35m beds were perfectly adequate for us. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient taxi access. Just a short stroll away, you can find Da Jia Lai (a famous seafood restaurant) and Durian Fresh. The area behind the hotel is great for a walk and photos, with many boats visible on the water. There's also a market nearby. Gaya Street is about a 15-minute walk away. Overall, we had a very positive experience. They have Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, which made the experience even better and the service excellent. We tried the buffet dinner once; it was decent, offering a good selection of dishes like lamb chops, salmon, scallops, oysters, grilled tiger prawns, and various desserts, all enjoyed with a nice view. The fantastic 8th-floor pool is perfect for kids."

"I would like to extend my gratitude towards the staff's name Nova. She's really helpful and she's comply will all my request even though it's a just a small gesture. I do feel welcome with her warmly greeting and she still check on me after i've checked in. Highly recommended for this hotel as its just right in front of 'philipines market' and great location for tourist to have a walk for shopping a local food n souvenir and have a good seafood meals.10/10 for the bed!!!"

"Next time balik KK will repeat again staying here with the same room. Deluxe Seaview. The breakfast was just so-so. Boleh lah. But the room was superb, dengan view yang lawa. They have a very big LG smarttv so boleh lah sign in netflix layan movie. Dan location also was very good. Walking distance to many main attractions di bndr KK ni."

"My third time staying at the hotel. Always had a pleasant stay. However during this time, couldnt secure a parking spot as it's under renovation. Would've love to get a heads up beforehand if it was unavailable during my stay. But still, would've repeat again & highly recommend to others."

"This hotel absolutely blew my expectations out of the water! Both the location and the accommodations were superb. It's strategically located on a corner, directly across the street from the jetty, making it incredibly convenient for island-hopping excursions. We spent four days island hopping, and I must say, the two captains, especially for the mangrove and outer island tours, were absolutely hilarious, witty, and very responsible. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Gaya Street, Durian Street, and the Central Seafood Market, which was extremely convenient. Gaya Street also hosts a night market every Friday and Sunday, perfect for a leisurely stroll and sampling delicious street food. Diagonally opposite the hotel, there's a large shopping mall and a duty-free store. My only minor disappointment was that our three families were staying together. The room rates only differed by less than fifty (currency implied), but because I was with my son, I booked a twin room. It turned out to be quite small, whereas the other two families booked king rooms that even came with a living area! I was so incredibly jealous and felt it was a bit unfair! o(╥╥)o However, that didn't really impact our overall experience, and we still had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel also boasts an outdoor rooftop pool on the 25th floor. The elevators require a room key card to operate and only grant access to your assigned floor, which provided a great sense of security!"
