Finding a nice and affordable stay at Lake Towada during low seasons is not easy because many of them only operate during high seasons. There are either the high-end ryokan hotels or the economy backpacker hostels. However, Guesthouse Nagomi excels in all aspects - one minute walk to the lake, all rooms are spacious and facing the lake, on-site onsen, spotless clean toilets, delicious meals, hospitable host, and the unbeatable price! We had a wonderful stay there and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay right by the lake.
