We were abit iffy about this hotel having read reviews but honestly we shouldn’t have been! We got a superior family room lovely beds comfortable only downside is there is no bath but not a problem for us! Air con was lovely! The food is the problem here! It’s very samey and there’s only so much pork u can eat! Rarely anything else! And get up at 6;30 for a sunbed otherwise you won’t get one! But we had a amazing time and it’s beautiful it’s honestly not as bad as some make out! If the food was better this would be perfect! We have loved our holiday! And would coke again!! X

I have just returned from a 10 day stay, travelling with my 81 year old mum. On arrival we both received complimentary upgrades to (adjoining) ground floor Superior rooms, based on my enquiry to the hotel about having walk-in showers rather than over the bath showers as this is easier for my mum to access. We arrived very late and were given a picnic box and taken to our rooms via a golf cart. The complex is lovely, with beautiful plants, flowers and landscaping - and is immaculate. The rooms were clean and we had plenty of towels (including beach towels). We had a kettle, but no tea/coffee etc, which was fine as we had brought our own. The rooms were serviced every other day with an option to have the sheets changed or not - whatever is your preference. The food was fine with plenty of options (how many do you need??) - particularly the salad choices. The hot dishes were hot and I think the people who complain that the food was cold were those who wandered up and down, stacking their plates high and then going to get bread/condiments/drinks etc - so of course the food had cooled by the time they sat down to eat! The drinks were also fine - lots of choices included in the AI, but yes, they are the local options, so might not be what people are used to. If there is something you want that isn't included, they will make it for you and charge less than the bars in Mastichari! To clear up some comments in recent reviews:- - Someone mentioned 'feral' cats - ridiculous! Yes, there are several cats around (as there always are in Greece!) but they kept to themselves and didn't bother anyone. I saw one in the restaurant once, and it was shoo'd out by one of the table staff. - Someone also complained about ants and mosquito bites - you are in an environment where there are mosquitos for goodness sake, so take repellent and after-bite and they aren't a problem and ants will only be an issue if there is something for them to eat! - And someone else has said that the staff were not knowledgeable - but I couldn't disagree more. They were always super helpful and gave good local advice. Any problems with trips booked externally are not down to the hotel and should not be included in the reviews of Eurovillage!! We had a great stay and on our last day, we were given a complimentary room due to our late flight home and this is where I have to give a massive shout out to MARIA at Reception who is truly one of the most kind, helpful and genuine people I have ever met! She went out of her way to help us with every query and make our stay as enjoyable as possible - and she remembered our names and rooms numbers throughout our stay, which made us feel really special. We had a couple of very small *******, which are worth mentioning:- - We weren't aware that you have to pay for beach beds/umbrellas until we were on the beach (and it is quite a schlep from there back to reception to get a ticket with arthritic knees!), so perhaps that is something that could be

After arriving late at night we was given our room number but no information about the hotel, so when we woke the next day we didn’t know where the restaurant was or what time breakfast was served, or dinner or tea, it was only once we found the restaurant the times was on the door. Our room was basic but fine but nothing like the room id booked or seen when i booked. The food has been ok with different variety to choose from. But unbeknown to us there is a seperate restaurant we could have booked into that did different theme nights but we only found out by chance on the last night of our holiday and was told we had to book a day in advance which might have been ok if we had known. The pool is like an olympic size so great if you want a good swim, the hotel is on the beach but you have to pay to use sun loungers on beach even though they belong to hotel. You get beach towels provided free of charge. The hotel isnt near any bars and is about 15 min walk along beach to mastichari but not a lot to do there once youve walked it, few eating places but thats it. Its about 1 hour on bus to kos town but you have to walk to mastichari to catch bus which is €3 each way or hotel does a bus to kos town at €10 each return. There is filtered coffee and cakes continuous all day if you fancied it and there is entertainment every night. Overall a good holiday if you want a chill holiday. The massive downside was there was only 1 plug socket in the room apart from the tv socket and that was 7ft up a wall above a coat stand so not accessible and if you wanted to straighten your hair the mirror was on the other wall from the plug socket, so families with kids who have ipads & phones to charge would struggle.

Very good environment and lovely place. Lovely rooms with a beach view. Only one issue lack of wi-fi at our rooms so had to go to the lobby/reception or the pool area for a decent signal. Great entertainment and activities on site and then there is the wonderful Entertainment team. First to be introduced was Maria and Thomas who we joined on many of the activities on the site. By Friday they do an island tour of the island on Quads and buggies to which we participated and enjoyed the experience. Over the weekend was again Activites galore with the team then went out for Scuba diving with a group called Liamis Dive centre then back to the hotel for the last few days of fun and excitement. If they fixed the Wi-fi we would definitely come back as it the people who made the holiday go with a bang. We have made some good friends out here so all worth it. Highly recommended

What a beautiful location, the walks around the resort are lovely, lots of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. Go to the beach to see the beautiful sunset. The pool was cold but refreshing, think it was a mix of chlorine and salt water. Plenty of sun loungers as it was and of season. The food was very similar at lunch and dinner but plenty salad and breads to change it up. If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday this is for you. Special mention to Maria the receptionist, she was very helpful. Also special mention to Yanos and Atonis servers, very friendly. And Aldo from the kitchen. And the evenings in the bar was so much fun, Zahoor and Ardit were great fun. The entertainment was limited as they only have Kelly during the day, she was so friendly and kind. The singers were brilliant, but it only goes on for 1 hour from 9-10pm. We have had the best holiday with lots of laughs. We were a group of 6.

We booked this hotel as our mini moon…. Lady behind the reception was helpful (Maria) But when we got to our room it was not how the website showed. We gave it a chance and unpacked and after being up for a long while we decided to have a shower to be greeted with a rusty bath towel, I put the shower on to warm up and the water came up through the drain the bathroom. No double bed, Tv also didn’t work and dirt all over the floor. Partner phoned reception and Maria couldn’t do enough - after falling asleep in the reception lobby we while they fixed it we up we went back to the room with still a broken tv and dirty all over the floor and no double bed. To which we packed up our things and told them we are not staying in the room. They sorted a £150 upgrade. After a bad start they righted themselves. We had a great time and met some lovely people, entertainment lady - Kelly was fantastic!! And her partner and boss - we had a great time on the quad biking day with you! We also took the coach to Kos town - which is €10 return per person and you get 3/4 hours to mooch about the town. Me and my partner had enough time to walk around the town and get lunch. On our last day we walked along the beach to the nearest town (Mastihari) which you can do by walking along the beach or follow the path takes about half an hour but is a flat walk. Lovely restaurants and bars and a few gift shops. A lovely beach and different change of scenery! We enjoyed the food - especially the gyros everyday at the pool side! Unfortunately the special restaurant had closed when we got there so we only had the all inclusive restaurant- this was fine plenty to choose from. Also good variety for children and vegetarian. €20 to get from the airport which is a 20min or so journey, which the hotel booked for us. Check out time was 11am but this could be extended until 6pm if the room was available unfortunately this wasn’t the case for us. We booked a shower room slot which was based in the gym - this didn’t go to plan as someone took our slot. Fortunately we made friends with plenty of people and asked very nicely if we could shower- this was a god send. After a bad start we had a lovely holiday. Thank you.

I stayed here for 2 weeks from the 10th October to the 24th October all inclusive and had the most fantastic time. The place is absolutely beautiful and the facilities are fantastic. The food was perfect for my taste and I can't fault anything whatsoever. Please pay no attention to people who had bad reviews. There's just no pleasing some people really. A special thanks to Victoria at the pool bar who is awsome at her job and is a gift from the gods to this hotel. A special mention too for the two Maria's in reception who are lovely ladies and who couldn't do enough to make sure I had a fantastic stay at the beautiful Eurovillage Hotel. All the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly and polite. Many thanks Eurovillage, no wonder so many people come back time and time again. See you soon.

Arrived at Hotel Eurovillage Achilleas in the evening. Very short distance from the airport, approx. 15 minutes by taxi. The hotel itself is completely remote, with a good distance to the nearest town centre/village. The nearest village is Mastihari, two km further north. You have to expect about half an hour to walk here, but by bike it takes approx. 10 minutes. In my case, I rented a scooter, and then it took only five minutes to Mastihari. The rental company Motorent was located outside the hotel gate, which rented out motorized vehicles and bicycles for a cheap prize. I rented a scooter for five days, which cost about €70 in total. A full gaz tank of the scooter cost around €5 and lasted for a couple of days of driving, so quite cheap to operate. There were plenty of petrol stations too. Next to Motorent there was also a small mini market, where you could buy drinks, souvenirs, snacks, towels, equipment for the beach, perfume, clothes, toiletries and more. In Mastihari there were many nice restaurants, bars, hairdresser, pharmacy and shops, and here was also the nearest ATM. Definitely a nice place to visit. I ate dinner here on the evenings I didn't eat at the hotel. I did not have all inclusive at the hotel. If you still wanted to take part in the dinner buffet at the hotel, it cost €15, which included all drinks. The buffet was good, and consisted of everything from good Greek salads to fish, meat, pasta etc. A separate chef grilled various meats. The dinner buffet was open between 19-22. The hotel otherwise had large outdoor areas with a huge swimming pool in the center of the area. There was also a small children's pool next to it. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool, and there was a pool bar that also served a simple lunchtime snack, usually a very tasty gyro. There was evening entertainment every night, which the audience appreciated. There was also an indoor bar with a large area of leather lounges and tables. The hotel also had a games room, where you could play table tennis, billiards and other games. The hotel consisted of quite a few independent houses, with a number of hotel rooms in each house. Between all the buildings there were cozy little roads, flowers and plants, and a lush park/garden, which went all the way down to the beach area. All the property of the hotel. Very large and nice area, and quiet and peaceful. The beach itself was perfectly fine, but with the north wind straight in there were quite a few particles and sea**** etc. in the water. There were also quite a few waves. If you want a beach with calm water and clear visibility, you should travel to the southern end of Kos, on the other side of the airport. I drove here by scooter, it was a trip of around 30 minutes. You drive past the airport and continue south. Follow the signs for Kefalos. There you passed all the beaches. I tried Paradise Beach, Lagada Beach and Agios Stefanos Beach. There are many other beaches there as well that I didn't get to
