I normally do not write reviews but thought I had to make people aware . This hotel is far from a 4* hotel . Honestly if your use to visiting 4* hotels I would have to warn you this is far from 4* standards. I would say the 4* has been awarded for location on the beach/views. Please do not be fooled by the pictures like we had been. Food is basic and bland. If you’ve booked already you will soon see what I’m talking about. Pool areas were filthy as well as the pool having dirt and grim at the bottom of it. Rooms were dirty on arrival .. (sink area / deck) All inclusive drinks all tasted the same . The quality of every drink we tried out was flat and tasteless. The beach/ view of the beach was lovely but was ruined by the over grown thorns they had everywhere (all over the grass/pavements) Please if you have booked this hotel wear your shoes everywhere! The hotel seemed to be already getting ready to shut down as the beach bar was closed and there were no day/night entertainment. It was a shame as can get boring for the children. In the end we ended up walking down the beach and found Astir Odysseus 5* hotel. It saved our Hoilday !! The hotel was UNREAL .. the service and food quality was top tier . All imported drinks were included with the All inclusive bands as well as entertainment throughout the day and night. We booked in for 3 nights and what a difference it was. Pure Bliss . Honestly just pay a little bit more and go else where. As I can assure you will be gutted when arriving at Aeolos beach hotel. Hotel pro - WI-FI was good.

I was quite hesitant to come to the hotel following the reviews but overall we had a really good holiday. Starting with the cons the food isn’t great. even for an all inclusive the food is really limited and I struggled to have a full meal. Me and my partner ate out 3/7 days so it helped break the week up and didn’t ruin the holiday. If we didn’t put money away to eat out we would have really struggled. The pros definitely out way the cons. The grounds are stunning and the staff are lovely. There is limited entertainment but the bar staff are brilliant and made the holiday. We upgraded to the bungalows, we definitely recommend this as the the bungalow only pool is lovely. It needs a clean but the view is gorgeous and it’s lovely and quite. The drinks are standard all inclusive but you can pay for upgraded cocktails. You can hire cars/buggy’s through the hotel but our buggy was really unsafe and they sold it to us without a working handbrake and gear box. I was a bit shocked at this as you would think the hotel would do better checks if they are endorsing the company. Overall if you bring some extra spends with you and treat yourself to a few meals out you will have an amazing week.

Terrible accommodation not the Four Star advertised 2 star at best. Booked a standard room with walk in shower in the Hotel but was put in a scruffy 2 star bungalow with a bath which was not suitable as I am disabled. Hairdryer burnt your hand when using and looked about 30 years old. Air con didn’t work properly, front door looked ready to go in skip, very noisy with music blasting out every day and at one point felt like Club Med. Not the tranquil 4 star I booked, all complaints ignored by manager. The only saving grace was able to escape to the beach every day and the food was suitable for all tastes although it was the same each day with a different theme. I very rarely comment on accommodation but was extremely shocked by the standard of accommodation and staff, the gardener was living in the next bungalow so perhaps we were put in to staff accommodation

The hotel was a nice size, beautiful location and the beach was very clean looking. Food was good, depending on what you like, the rooms were decent and clean. The staff were very good but 2 bar staff members were exceptional and my holiday was just the best because of how they interacted with me and my friend. Their names were Natasha & Sotiris! I have made a promise to myself that I would go back there and I really hope they are still there because they made a good holiday memorable. Not only were they entertaining at the bar but they never stopped for a break ( they worked tirelessly and I'd say they did more than they should have ) definitely a pay rise or promotion should be considered.

Review We stayed here for two weeks at the beginning to middle of June. In total there were a number of different parties that stayed as part of our wedding entourage totalling about 30 people (we did not get married at the hotel). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place to relax not far from Kos town or our wedding venue. The hotel grounds are spotless - literally impeccable. There were always a number of cleaners working around the clock to keep the gardens, pool areas, bars and rooms clean. The gardens were well tended and there are plenty of pretty flowers and plants dotted around. We stayed in a superior bungalow with sea view as a family of two adults and one child. The room was peaceful and you could hear the waves from the beach when you opened your balcony. The bathroom was spacious with the best walk in shower with great water pressure. The air conditioning was fine - although one night did stop working so we were provided with a fan. The beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of storage. The day and night before our wedding we were given a complimentary room to get ready in for the bridal party. The beach was right in front of us with just a lawn in between (great for an early morning or later evening swim). The beach itself is not sandy but the sea was lovely and warm and further up the beach by the Tranquilo restaurant was cleaner and less pebbly. The sunsets at the beach were beautiful. The pool area itself was great with plenty of sun beds, space and shade with chairs and tables. The bar and snack bar around the pool were great and the drinks were your standard all inclusive selection with some cocktails charged at an extra which you would expect anywhere you go. The food was fine - always fresh and tasty. Although not a huge selection, we could always find something to suit. Great desserts and breads too. The salads etc were fresh and the food was cooked well - you’re in Greece so do not expect your usual English options. That didn’t bother us, although maybe some more options for children would be beneficial. We ate one night at the Tranquilo restaurant which served very much the same food as the main restaurant (buffet style) although a prettier setting. They also accommodated a number of us for a birthday meal and provided a birthday cake at short notice. Lastly we would likely to mention the staff who were a credit to the hotel. They were polite, helpful and friendly. In particular the two barmaids Juanna and Natassa at the pool bar worked so hard and always had a smile on their face - even if Natassa was a little sassy. Juanna was fabulous and really cared for all of the guests. In the evening the bar men were a great laugh and always made sure to clear any long queues. The lifeguard at the pool was ok.. you did see him walk around a lot during the day looking quite bored and aloof. He seemed to only apprehend particular people around the pool until this was mentioned to him after which he was consiste

This is our first time in KOS and first time at Aeolos beach hotel. Staff on reception are very friendly helpful and polite. The beach was a bit disappointing just quite small and narrow but sea was lovely like a bath! Kos town very nice with a good selection of restaurants and only 2€ on the bus. Food was great at the hotel rooms very clean all in all a very pleasant stay. The hotel offers great views especially sunsets at night! Definitely recommend this hotel. Ignore the bad reviews everything was just right here for us! Hope to return in the future

I booked Aeolus for our family of 6. We all had a fantastic stay and were sad to leave. I was nervous having read a couple of negative reviews but these were totally unfounded. The hotel arranged our superior bungalows side by side as requested and we had sea views. The rooms were perfect, cleaned daily and cool with the aircon, which we needed. The food was very good, varied (even our 10 year old fussy eater enjoyed it) and plentiful. We were all inclusive, so 3 meals were available plus drinks, ice creams and giros etc, from the poolside grill. The children enjoyed the pool, as well as the beach. There are stoney areas on the beach but we weren’t bothered by this - if you want white sand, you just need to walk up the coast (towards Lambi) for 20 mins and there is a blue flag beach which is lovely. Entertainment was good and catered for all ages. The staff were something else, friendly, helpful (a special shout out to Eva on Reception, bar and catering staff who were great with the children) and the most hard working team, a credit to the hotel, so a huge hug and thanks to you all. We hired a car to get around, the Lido water park is only 20 mins, Kos town 10, and the main road is good. Free parking everywhere!

I was a bit unsure after reading the reviews but the rooms and staff in the hotel were excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable (we had premium bungalows 657 and 658) which had a direct view of the sea. The bungalows appeared to have been recently refurbished. The staff were all friendly and helpful and if you like cats there were lots of them which was a lovely addition to the hotel. The hotel was closing down for winter and so perhaps wasn’t the best time to go as beach and grill restaurants were closed and pool was closing down. The description is on a stunning beach - the beach is very small and far from stunning but to be fair that didn’t detract from our stay. The sunbeds around the grass were nice and peaceful and the sea was great. The hotel isn’t really near anywhere, there’s a small shop in reception but otherwise there’s nowhere to go for a stroll. We ended up hiring a car which was easy enough and meant we got to explore Kos. The big negative was the food. The fresh salads were really good but with the hot food, choice was very limited. Breakfasts were removed early and dinner was very similar every night. The quality also wasn’t the best. The big problem was though that the food was cold. Initially I thought it was because we were late to dinner but even when we were the first in the restaurant when it opened the food was still cold. It’s a shame as it’s actually a lovely hotel with brilliant rooms and staff and you can get round the location with a car but the food did really let it down.

Hotel was fine but definitely not four star in quality. Food was repetitive and fairly average. Not much choice and felt like it was being run down to the end of season. The labelling was hit and miss and they didn't have a lot of things, while the snack bar and beach front restaurant were shut. Staff were friendly enough, except for bar men who were full of banter and attitude. Jokes in bad taste too. Air conditioning didn't work in the room. Is a fair distance from Kos Town, about 12 euros in a taxi. Buses are every hour though. A few other guests have issues with their room but air con aside, ours was fine.
