This is a great and beautiful resort, I have never been to Greece or any of it's Islands before. This was booked as a family holiday for 8 adults and 2 children (aged 2 and 3). My 1st impressions were that all the reception staff were courteous, friendly and professional and dealt with the check in process swiftly. During my stay I also had to attend reception in regards to the booking of a beach Cabana and was dealt with by Bianca, who was polite and gave the impression that she was there to, and wanted to help, and carried this out with a smile. The resort is 1st class and one of the cleanest holiday destinations that I have ever stayed at, there was not a speck of rubbish or dirt anywhere to be seen , all the pools were crystal clear and all surrounding areas spotless, all staff work extremely hard day in and day out and all do so with a smile and are so polite, whether they were gardeners, cleaners, maintenance or all the electric buggy drivers that will move you anywhere around the resort. Although all staff at this resort work relentlessly hard, I would like to commend a few staff during my stay that I had many encounters with (29th Sept-14th Oct), these would be:- Irene Kotsopoulou (Main coffee/cocktail bar below reception) most helpful/polite and goes above and Beyond with customer service. Nothing was ever an issue or a problem for her ,she is a great credit to your team and should recieve the credit that she rightly deserves. Nikos Manavis (Waiter in main coffee/cocktail bar below reception, also pool bars during the day and in the evening at the Ampitheatre) he was one of the most hard working ,polite and professional waiters that I came across on my stay. He would constantly keep a check on all customers while collecting empty glasses and make sure that they always had a full glass if required. I would see him out in the sun at pool bars in the mornings, and in the afternoon he could be seen in the main cocktail bar then in the evening in the Ampitheatre. He would work right through until 01:30 the following morning re-arranging seating ,cleaning the area and bar around the Ampitheatre. Nikos is definitely a credit to you and your resort. Dionisis (Beach bar/cabins and Main coffee/cocktail bar below reception) works unbelievably hard, during the day along the beach in the scorching heat of the sun ,marching up and down serving and replenishing the private beach huts and collecting all empty glasses and rubbish, and then in the afternoon/ evening can be seen working just as hard as a waiter in the main coffee/cocktail bar and again so helpful and goes well above and beyond and is also a big credit to your resort. There is hardly anything at this resort that isn't included in your stay, there is ample food and the restaurants have so much on offer, I've seen some reviews stating that the food is repetitive, but if you were to look around there is always something for everyone if you chose to open your eyes a bit wider and again

Our 3rd visit here and it did not disappoint. We stayed in deluxe private suite. Very spacious and views to die for Hired a car to Kardemeana and lido waterpark. Also ate at Cavo Greco. All things we will do again next trip. Did the Zeus superior boat trip. Highly recommend for all ages groups. Used the water sports team for crazy sofa. Very professional safe and lots of fun.

Lovely, clean hotel, lots of space and so many pools to choose from. We have stayed here 5 times and have had a great visit each time. We did however notice that some luxuries had been removed this time and the food is not as good as it used to be. It would probably not deter us from visiting again. We may return in the future.

Rooms- The rooms were nice, but again you’re not on holiday to spend it in your room, very spacious, tv was at a weird angle but we didn’t even use it so no dramas there, the rooms were always cleaned daily to a very high standard, the only things I would change would be have a couple bottles of water placed in the fridge daily (although not a massive issue as they’re easily accessible around the complex) and the main change would be an actual double bed option instead of 2 singles pushed together. Food- the A La Carte restaurants, you get to use 3 times a week, we both thought the Italian and the Chinese were a bit disappointing so I wouldn’t even bother wasting an evening there, however the BBQ grill is a very nice concept and definitely worth going too especially if you like your meat. The buffets were all very nice and the staff in there were spectacular, the food did get a bit samey after 11 days but it was all still very nice and high quality for a buffet, the only thing I’d change is enforce guests to sanitise before using the buffet. Pool- The pools were all very clean, and never too overcrowded despite the size of the place, very cold which was perfect for the heat during the day, could do with instead of having a dedicated beach towel room, just have beach towels placed around the complex for guests to take and return as and when. Beach- the beach is definitely lovely to look at and the sea is beautiful to swim in, however definitely bring some wet shoes to avoid the stones to get into the sea Bars- Again despite the size of the complex the bars were never over crowded, my only issue with the bar is no option for branded drinks and cocktails like margaritas you have to pay €12 for which took me by surprise at a 5* all inclusive, also be aware as it’s not pointed out that the free bar finishes at 12am and until 1am you have to pay for your drinks. Would love to give a shoutout to Nancy and Spiros the bar tenders who made our stay so much better making our regular orders before we even needed to order. *Room service is ridiculously expensive for what it is, where as some hotels previously visited offer it for free or at a heavily discounted rate Overall the place is a very nice place to stay it does have a few let downs but that would be me being over critical, overall I’d definitely recommend staying here

It is a beautiful and spacious resort that offers everything one needs for a pleasant vacation: a wide selection of food, good drinks, pleasant service and environment. It may be further to the sea from some parts of the resort, but the walk through the resort is pleasant and after the amount of food, we were glad for every walk. Access to the sea is by stones or via a floating jetty. On the one hand, this can be a disadvantage, but on the other, a good opportunity to jump directly into the sea. Plus, the floating jetty is funny in the waves. The evening program in the theater is a pleasant end to each day. We really can't complain about anything major.

This is my third visit to this beautiful hotel and I’m already planning my next! Everything here is great….the rooms, food, facilities and especially the entertainment. The staff make this place. Always going the extra mile to make your stay special. Special mention to Maria in the entertainments team who taught us a little hip hop for fun this morning. The evening shows are very entertaining and enjoyable with a cold drink from the bar. The talented young team work incredibly hard and it shows! Keep up the great work kids! Shows are varied and there’s something for everyone. Even as an adult I have enjoyed the Disney show and singing along (probably to the disgust of the people sitting around me!) Embrace the vibe and get involved in the daytime activities too. AquaFit and stretch with the ocean as a backdrop is not to be missed. Ignore any moaning reviews and enjoy your holiday! It’s a little slice of paradise here xx

We arrived late Wednesday night and by the Friday afternoon my son was seriously ill. The hotel kept telling me he was fine and no one else had been ill but by the Sunday he was in hospital. People were being sick on the beach and in the restaurant. I got sick the day we were supposed to Flynn home and had to take tablets to be able to fly. I think it was the water park as other kids that had been were all ill. We got home and both sons were admitted straight to hospital in the uk with confirmed salmonella poisoning. Even people on the plane home were ill. Honestly the supposedly luxury holiday was the holiday from hell.

I recently stayed at a so-called 5-star hotel and while it had its highlights, the experience was far from deserving of its star rating. Positives: The variety of swimming pools was impressive, offering something for everyone, whether you wanted a lively atmosphere or a quiet spot to relax. Additionally, access to the sauna was free, which was a great perk. The evening shows were absolutely amazing—well-organized, entertaining, and truly a highlight of our stay. Most of the staff, except for the reception team, were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The all-inclusive restaurants provided decent food with a good variety, adding some convenience to our stay. Negatives: The reception team was shockingly unhelpful. Upon check-in, they claimed to “upgrade” our room. Instead of the sea view room we had booked, we were given a larger room with a view of a wall and an internal bridge between buildings. I was not informed of this switch beforehand, and when I raised the issue, the receptionist's dismissive response was, "I don't understand your problem; we gave you an upgrade." Their lack of empathy or effort to resolve the issue was disappointing. To make matters worse, when moving rooms, I accidentally left a pair of pearl earrings behind. Despite raising the issue immediately, they were never found, and the matter was handled with a lack of urgency or care. Another oddity was the inconsistency in their coffee offerings. An iced coffee with Baileys was free of charge and made with espresso, yet a non-alcoholic iced coffee cost €3 and was made with instant coffee—a baffling policy that left us puzzled. Additionally, there was no iron in the room, and they didn’t even offer an option to borrow one, which was highly inconvenient. Finally, the à la carte restaurants were a complete disaster in terms of taste and quality, which was disappointing considering the price point and the 5-star claim. Conclusion: While the variety of pools, free sauna access, and evening shows added value to the stay, the unhelpful reception staff, missing earrings, odd coffee policies, and lack of room amenities like an iron made the experience frustrating. This hotel may have its nice aspects, but it is certainly not deserving of its 5-star rating.

Wow. What can I say, this hotel exceeded every expectation. For context, myself and my partner decided to book a last minute getaway for our anniversary. I have had the privilege of going to many five star all inclusive hotels and really wanted to find one that my partner, who had never done this sort of holiday, would love. I was very apprehensive but honestly The Blue Lagoon Village did not disappoint! After reading a mixture of reviews I needed to leave a positive review for the Blue Lagoon Village because it is what it truly deserves. Please do not be put off by any bad reviews, this place really cannot be faulted. A fantastic hotel in a beautiful location that never felt crowded due to its mass amount of facilities and options for food and drink. Super friendly and attentive staff and perfect for couples or families. Very close to the airport but never disrupted by plane noise or traffic. Something for everyone! Hotel & Room: Upon arrival, we had been told that we had been upgraded to a swim up room for our special occasion and a complimentary bottle of champagne was provided. They still allowed us the choice of our original room but the swim up did not disappoint. Room 1616 was a fantastic location, right next to the pool bar and a 5 minute walk to breakfast with a gorgeous view out to sea. We were far enough away to have peace and quiet on an evening but close enough to feel included in the resort. The room was large, spotless and had everything we needed (toiletries, robes, slippers and mini fridge). Staff were cleaning around the resort consistently and could not have been more polite. The greenery and scenic views really make this hotel 5*. Room service came everyday and even when we called to have them come later one day, they arrived within minutes. Having a swim up made our holiday so we could not be more grateful. Food: Reading reviews I found that once arriving at the hotel, it is best to book the restaurants straight away. This was easy to do on the hotel app and I had no problem booking all three of the restaurants. The food was excellent, regularly changing and had something for everyone. Our favourite had to be the Chinese, the food was rich in flavour and loved the mix between buffet and sit down service. The Mythos restaurant was great for lunch time, changing the options daily. The Ocean restaurant was our regular dinner spot, with amazing views out to the beach. Our breakfast at the main restaurant was perfect every day with staff being extremely attentive and evening serving Mimosas one morning! The BBQ restaurant was a really fun experience that we loved. Something different but really added to the whole experience. The Italian was our only thing that we felt slightly lacked but the food was absolutely fine just not as great as all of the other restaurants on the resort but still very nice pizzas. The Crepes and ice cream parlours were perfect for an afternoon snack with plenty of toppings and flavours. The bars
