Fabulous beach front location. Great grounds with beach, lawn, busy pool, quiet pool - something for everyone. Food varied and tasty. A watch out: if you are offered rooms 600+, you will be in the Residence part of the hotel - inland/have to cross a road to get there. Not all bad though as it has its own pool and bar with a lot less crowds. You will end up walking a lot though - which we didn’t mind, but others might. Not sure why the hotel restricts a la carte restaurants to once per stay instead of once per week. It was very empty when we went. Italian food was not that much better than main restaurant so you are not massively missing out. Store merchandise was very expensive, but not sure if this would be same across all hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We are coming to our last night here after being here for 11 days - to put it simply, everything has been perfect. This hotel feels very safe, we never once worried about problems or anything going missing. All the staff from cleaners to management are super friendly and will go that extra mile. We chose this venue to get married on the beach, which was perfectly organised by George, Yota & Janine, ensuring we did not have any stress only unforgettable memories. Rooms - cleaned everyday by the house keeping staff who are always pleasant. The balconies are a good size for relaxing at night or just sunbathing. Food - The food is fine, there must be over a hundred options every meal so there is something for everyone. The deserts are tremendous. Big shout to Christina in the restaurant for making our time here special, you deserve a promotion for how you treat customers. There is car rental based at reception, Theodora from International Rent A Car is an amazing host and will look after you for a decent price. You might want to rent a car as it is much easier to travel the island. The entertainment team is superb, they do everything they can for the kids and always get them involved. There is a onsite water sports activity center onsite at the resort which is also great. Someone who might not normally get noticed is the life guards on the pool! I noticed they always keep a close eye on the kids, often moving around the pool to keep a good view. Thank you for everything and we will definelty see you again. Dan, Steph, Albie, Alice & Arthur.

Booked this holiday last year as an experiment really. I've been so used to going to Egypt for 13 yrs but had a bad experience last time and wanted something new. I liked the look of the hotel and it had good reviews. I was disappointed . No problems with Tui, flight and transfers. I had requested a room near to everything and had paid for a Seaview. They did deliver on this. No map given and no directions, luckily there was a bell boy who helped us. Rooms are small but functional. Bathrooms are basic and ours had an over bath shower but it worked OK. Small fridge for water and a large balcony. 2 beds pushed together, it was OK. Lots of wardrobe space. Unfortunately this room was not cleaned very well. There were crisps and a dead sunbeetle on this balcony when we arrived and they were still there 2 wks later. Beds were just thrown together but the bare minimum was done. Bathroom was always cleaned. Safe in room and television really old. We went around the main pool the first day but most of the beds are on the grass and the pool is really deep. You can only change your towels once a week, I would suggest that the hotel changes this policy as the grass makes the towels dirty. This pool is noisy and is where the pool entertainment takes place. Lots of under fives here so we found the adults only pool where we stayed for the duration. This pool is quiet, on concrete, has toilets and has a bar with a lovely barman named Mikes. He delivers melon every day around 3pm. This pool does not open until 10.00. The management must change this. It is ridiculous in this day and age that grown adults are queuing to enter a pool when the children are already in theirs. Even if there are no lifeguards .....we are adults! At least open it at 9.00. Once I'd had breakfast I had to wait an hour to get in. The restaurants deliver typical all inclusive food however its not very hot. Breakfast is the usual breads, eggs, bacon, fruit and continental. Tea and coffee is available from a machine. These machines always have extensive queues around them. Lunch is interesting. There was chilli available nearly everyday! Lots of salads, pasta, some Greek food. Cakes and more fruit. No tea or coffee available. Plenty of self service beers, wine and soft drinks. There is the snack bar down by the beach, great food, take away or eat in. Evening meal was always a struggle for me. The hotel have a 2 sitting service which in my opinion is ridiculous. Surely there is the same amount of people at the evening meal as there was at breakfast. In fact there are the Italian and the Greek restaurants to eat in as well so you would think there would be less. The first sitting starts at 19.00. They literally shut the doors at 19.45 and do not reopen them until 20.05. So yet again there is a queue. I have never had to queue to enter a restaurant. There is no dress code in the restaurant which is a first for me. Expect to see all sorts when eating. (I sound like a prude but I'm not.

Went here as a family of 4 - 3 adults and 1 child of 8. When we arrived we were told our 2 rooms were quite far apart which was disappointing, although I probably should have emailed beforehand. However, they offered us a massionate instead. Asked if we would like to view it before excepting which was great. We did just on the basis of being all together. However, by doing this we had issues trying to book the resturants on their system as it didnt update that all 4 of us was in one room, we booked directly with them instead. We were in the residences side and taken by buggy. Our rooms were very spacious, 2 bathrooms, the one upstairs was very small. Knees touch the basin when on the toilet small lol but it worked. Had a terrace and a balcony which was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Room was a little dated and the wardrobe had a funky smell, like mould but couldn't see any. Room was cleaned and water bottles replaced every day. Being on the residence side was lovely and quiet, the pool was right outside our room with a pool bar, shop and an evening bar. We didn't bother with the main resort pool it was packed, people going out at 6am to put towels down - no we weren't one of those, we just like to get up early to watch the sunrise, which is spectacular! So we stayed where our room was when wanting the pool, never had any issues with getting a bed there. Staff were always friendly. The hotel and grounds were clean. Plenty of cats to adore also! The only issue for us at this hotel, apart from the dated room was meal times, it was like feeding time at the zoo!! Never seen anything like it, there were quite a lot of rude people there too, pushing infront of you to get the food. Even to my 8 year old which left him taken back. I know this isn't a hotel issue just part of our experience. I hate to write this but the food wasnt great, it seemed very repetitive and like the same food from lunch was used for dinner. A few times my partner had uncooked chicken. It was just so packed with people at times. We had to queue one evening for 30 minutes to get in. I understand they had a 2 seating system for evening meals otherwise the resturant just couldn't handle the amount of people in one go. The Italian a la carte was a lot better. Wish we could have eaten there each night instead. Unfortunately, the Greek a la carte wasn't great and this one we had been looking forward to the most. The best drinks were served at the main bar inside, the other bars weren't as good. We had an extremely late flight home, because we had issues with booking resturants they gave us our rooms until 8pm for no extra charge which we truly appreciated especially with a young child. Unfortunately, we would say this hotel is more of a 3* than a 4*. We did have a good time and my youngest was happy with his holiday. We just dreaded meal times, the food could have been a lot better. There is definitely room for improvement overall so unfortunately it just wasnt worth the money we pa

Atlantica Beach Resort Kos - Overall, fantastic and beautiful place! Family of 4, 2 adults & 2 young children. Rooms- Upon arrival we were welcomed by the reception staff where we were checked in and then shown to our room via a buggy with our cases. We were shown to a suite which was located outside of the main resort. We were aware of this area of the hotel before arriving and were slightly concerned after reading some negative reviews, but honestly we were delighted with the room and location. Some reviews suggest it is a long 10 minute walk from the suites to the main hotel, but it isn’t at all! In fact, it is a lovely walk along the beautiful paths and takes no longer than 5 minutes. You can also phone reception and have a buggy pick you up, but we always enjoyed the walk, even with 2 young children who didn’t moan about walking in the heat. The room itself was really big with a good sized bed for ourselves, a cot for the youngest and a second bed for our eldest. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh bottled water supplied in the fridge each day. The rooms, including the bathroom were very clean. Pools - There is a main pool in the main resort area just off the beach which is nice but very busy. This is where the entertainment team are located throughout the day. We didn’t spend much time here as we preferred the pool in our area by the suites. This was much quieter. There is a children’s pool which is covered by shelter next to the main pool and also a second children's pool next to the suites pool but this is not sheltered. We read on the earlier reviews that there were issues around reserving a sunbed each day, this wasn’t an issue at the second pool but by the main pool you did see people reserving beds themselves as early as 6am - the rule was that you had to physically stay with the bed or your towel would be removed so you would find people sleeping on the sunbeds from 6 until the pool opened later in the morning!! The pools were well maintained and lovely to swim and play in. Food - The main restaurant was lovely. A good selection every meal time and was really tasteful. I normally find all inclusive hotels to be repetitive but I actually looked forward to each meal because of the choice. You can either eat inside or outside. Both areas are nice but outside is beautifully designed with amazing views. We ate at both of the other restaurants, I forget the name but the Italian restaurant was amazing but the Greek restaurant not as good. Drinks throughout the day are not so good, probably the only negative topic I would mention. Cocktails are not very nice and the beer on tap was always ‘froffy’. To get a good drink you would need to wait for the Lounge Bar to open which is the main bar in the hotel, seated areas inside and outside. These drinks are made with more care and the cocktails are really nice - even the children's mocktails were really good. Special thanks to Catalin for your service each night!! We visited the lo

Best thing about this hotel is it's grounds. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful except the hotel manager who is rude and often hiding in the back avoiding guests. The resturant is a disaster there are often long queues to get in and tables aren't cleared very well, the table mats are often dirty. There is plenty of food but it is basic and deffinately not 5* quality. Be aware that they start clearing food away before the closing time and often run out of certain foods much earlier. E.g Asain night they ran out of duck and noodles before 8:30pm. Many guests are clearing their own plates to make way for desert plates etc. There is not enough staff to manage the amount of guests. There is a lovely roof top bar but it takes a long time to get a drink a good 20-30 mins wait. Entertainment is poor. The main pool is snided and sunbeds crammed in. The pool at the top end of the resort is much nicer. Would not reccomend this hotel.

I’ve never felt the need to write a review before, but after spending a week all inclusive at Atlantica Beach Resort in Kos with my wife and two sons (16 and 11 years old) I really couldn’t help myself. It was my first trip to Greece. The minute you arrive you are greeted with a friendly and welcoming reception, any questions we had were answered straight away. They even rushed us through so we could catch the last 10 minutes of lunch. Our seafront room and terrace was idyllic, perfect and exactly what we expected and wanted. We’d return from the pool every day to a spotless clean room and the Air conditioning was a god send. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and the dinner hall was very clean and all the staff either at the door, plate collectors or the chefs were so friendly and welcoming. We booked a table at the Italian and Greek restaurants on site during our stay and the food was again amazing, there’s a snack bar open between 12 and 5 with just the basics (salads, sandwiches etc) but everything prepared to perfection. The hotel shop also had everything you’d need for a holiday from mosquito spray to pool inflatables for the kids. The poolside entertainment team were brilliant lead by Tedi , one of the hardest working men I’ve ever had the privilege to meet, whatever he’s getting paid it isn’t enough !! . A real character and leader of a superb group, there was plenty to keep all of us busy during our stay, whether it was Darts, Football, French bowls, Table tennis, water polo or Beach volleyball for me and my lads or Yoga for my wife. They ask you nicely and more importantly don’t pressure you at all if you just want to chill by the pool. The night entertainment is a brilliant mix from ballet to a rock n roll night, the highlight was the Beach party with an unbelievable atmosphere. The Beach is beautiful but we were having such a great time by the pool we rarely visited it during the day. The nearest town is Kardamaina which we visited one night for a few drinks and to watch the football, it was a simple 10 minute bus trip from the stop right outside the hotel. A lovely little town with plenty of bars and shops, again lovely, clean and very friendly. €1.80 on the bus or €11 in a taxi. Overall the holiday exceeded our expectations and would advise anyone to visit this place, the atmosphere was the best I’ve ever experienced on a holiday with a mix of guests from all over Europe. And last but not least the weather was incredible, we didn’t see a cloud in the whole week we were there and we’d finish every night on the hotel roof top bar for a drink and a bit of stargazing at the clearest most beautiful night sky we’ve ever seen.

we have had nothing but a nightmare from start to finish. We were delayed for 17 hours and when we finally arrived and checking in, we were told we had been upgraded to another room, all four of us. We were told if we didn’t like the room to come back and they would sort it out. Well what can I say, that it was was no upgrade, we are on holiday with our son and his girlfriend, so 4 adults, and they put us all in one room with an upstairs but open plan, so no door, and certainly no privacy. We went straight back to reception to say no, only to be told that there were not any other rooms available and that They were overbooked. We had paid for 2 premium rooms but never got them. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the room we were given and then another room become available after some vigorous conversation. This room was on a separate part of the complex, that we later understand was where some staff stayed, but due to over booked allocations, had to relocate to make room for guests. Trying to get service in the bar area of an evening was difficult to say the least, not enough staff for the demand. We feel totally robbed, as we did not get what we paid for. The manager was never available to discuss our issue. The hotel itself is very picturesque, but needs some attention to detail around operations. Staff are very friendly and do their utmost, but they need more of them to meet the demand.

Just finished 11 days at Atlantica Beach Resort in Kos and we have had a great time. Room was very modern and we had a great view looking out to palm trees and the sea. The photos on the website are a true reflection of the hotel. As far as all inclusive go, the food wasn’t repetitive, a good selection of everything you could want at a hotel. Bar/restaurant staff very friendly and hard working. You have the option of booking dantes once a week which is a must. Good size pool, only downside is you have to be up really early to get a sun lounger. The entertainment team really work hard to get everyone to enjoy their time and make the whole experience very fun and entertaining. Raul, Luka and Chloe from the entertainment team are very approachable. I don’t know where they get the energy from. All in all a great holiday, thank you very much Atlantica!
