Okay, first of all we did have a lovely holiday, fab location, hotel and grounds very clean, good value for money. The bad bits, the room very basic, beds and pillows really hard and uncomfortable, and the shower drained into the centre of the bathroom floor leaving the bathroom floor full of water for hours, a mop and bucket would have been useful. But we were only in the room to sleep. Location of the room was lovely though. I asked reception for a kettle that was promptly delivered so that was great. Well stocked shop close by which was useful. Drinks, dissapointing, unless you pay for them. Juices watered down, beer average, cocktails average, the non alcoholic choice was disappointing. Food I thought was nice until you had been there a few days then realised it was the same offerings day in day out. Yogurts only available at breakfast, limited fruit choice, limited choice for picky kids. Breakfast was quite nice though, something for everyone. Staff and service was poor, staff seemed grumpy, not all staff, but many of them looked miserable and unfriendly, certainly not the Greek hospitality I was used to. Cleaning staff were more friendly than the restaurant staff. Not enough seats/beds around the pool area or the top bar. Couldn't even get an ashtray, was offered a paper cup with water in. Glad we only booked a week. Kids didn't care for the pool as it was too cold, but that could be as it was early season. Didn't bother with the evening entertainment, I couldn't be bothered with rushing just to get a seat. Most people chose the smugglers bar across the road from the hotel for drinks and entertainment. Good for a budget holiday, but you get what you pay for.
