Argiri Resort Hotel & Apartments

Upon arrival at the hotel we were shocked at the state of the room allocated to us. Not only did the room not match a single photograph on both the Jet2 website and the hotels website but it was disgusting. The tap was filled with limescale and dirt, the shower wall and tray were filthy and covered with marks from the previous guests. Furthermore, the bathroom floor was dirty (as well as the rest of the rooms), the kitchen tap was also incredibly dirty and we took glasses/cutlery out of the cupboard to find that they were just as unclean as everywhere else. The sofa in the kitchen was disgusting, covered in dirt and marks. In the evening the room was incredibly loud due to being so close to the main road and we could hear the music blasting from other guests. On seeing the room allocated to us we went straight to reception to report our concerns regarding the room but the receptionist was far from helpful. After getting in touch to complain to Jet2, the hotel sent a cleaner out to 'deep clean' the room and bathroom, in which the 'cleaner' mopped the bathroom floor and left (she wasn't even in there for 10 minutes). We rang Jet2 Holidays back to discuss this and they suggested that the hotel move us if possible. During the phone call with Jet2, we were told “people’s expectations differ”, in which we questioned if “good hygiene was an ‘expectation’ when you pay for a hotel”. Bearing in mind we paid extra for better accommodation (2 bed apartment). As a couple, we had both previously been university students but nothing could have prepared us for the condition of this room. The room was filthy, dark and vastly outdated. I also made a point to the customer service team that “no one expects to have a shower and come out feeling dirtier than before!”.

Perfect place to stay, 3 of us had a suite, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a fridge and kettle. Nice balcony with a partial sea view. Great location, 5 mins to everything. Breakfast 10/10 always fresh and plenty to choose from. All the staff are warm and friendly, I can see why people return year after year !

Our room was so small & had hardly anywhere to store anything. The wardrobe wasn’t tall enough to even hang a dress folded in half. We had ONE drawer each. No shelves whatsoever in the bathroom, so all our toiletries had to go on the sink, which meant in the 10 days we were there the sink didn’t get cleaned once by the cleaner. We tried moving everything off the sink one day in the hope it would be cleaned, but it wasn’t, so I actually went out & bought some wipes because frankly I thought that was disgusting! The major issue was the bathroom floor though. My suspicions should have been raised when I first went in & saw the mop/blade. The water did NOT go down the grids. Whoever fitted the floor obviously hoped water would defy physics & run uphill! This meant I spent EVERY day of my holiday basically mopping a bathroom floor, because even after several hours there was still an inch or so of water to paddle through. Apart from this causing a very real slip hazard, it also meant if you went to the loo in the night you got back in bed with wet feet!

The room me and my partner stayed in was very nice, cleaned everyday and we had a sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was safe and clean. We had breakfast every morning which was buffet style which was always stocked up right until it finished. The eating area was kept clean and tidy at all times. I would definitely recommend my friends and family stay here and I will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely brilliant hotel.Great food and all staff absolutely lovely. Costa the manager can't do enough for you and is very helpful second time at this hotel and won't be the last. Rooms clean and comfortable and ours was very spacious

Brilliant time at the Argiri hotel for a family birthday. Room’s spacious and spotless and lovely breakfast. All staff were very helpful and Costa the manager couldn’t do more for you. Will be returning next year couldn’t fault this hotel.also perfect location The jones family
