Mitsis Blue Domes Resort & Spa

An amazing location, within a beautiful setting. The facilities are plentiful, and the food offerings are spectacular. The bars offer unlimited drinks throughout the day, and Blue Domes has freshwater pools running throughout its core structure. The good offerings were expansive, and catered for all dietary needs. The only downside which I found was that the rooms were not sound insulated, and therefore as I was at the end of housing section the noice from the service road was slightly irritating. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the location to family and friends.

Firstly, the overall experience and stay at Mitsis Blue Domes was incredible. It’s one of the most stunning resorts we have ever been too, always clean, and plenty of space around the resort to explore, relax and swim! Check in was okay, however, could have been better. The staff member didn’t really explain the hotel, or give us a map. He just passed us the keys and nothing else. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. Always something to eat and hot food. Service could be a bit quicker in the buffet restaurant however overall enjoyable experience. The breakfast buffet would defiantly benefit from another toaster also. The pool areas and resort grounds are incredible. You feel as if you’re living in a Greek dream. Plenty of sun beds and no issues with getting a bed, however, we went at the start of October. This could be different for other times if the year. More staff needed for front reception. Often had to queue to ask a question or for help. Desk is big enough for more people so not sure why there wasn’t more people to service it especially when it was busy. Booking a taxi was very long winded. We had to book through the concierge and then go back to reception to pay? And when there are queues this can be very frustrating when all we wanted was a cab. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our cab to turn up. The beach was great with lovely blue seas. The food overall throughout the different places to eat in the hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed the choices we had each day to go and eat! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

Imagine expecting something great but then getting there and it was 100× better than you could even ever imagine! I read reviews before I went alot good some not so good but ignore the bad reviews because I'm telling you the experience is so good. I seen reviews complaining about food saying the serve the same every day but that's not the case at all! In the maine restaurant they have a range of different foods! All different every night and sometimes it's hard to decide what you want and I can tell you we didn't have one bad meal and that's just the main restaurant, the other restaurants they offer are great too and yes you have to book for the others but that is easy to do and they tell you to do that soon as you get your key cards for the room and that's the best time to do it so you can get them booked in and damn the asian restaurant is so beautiful, the food ect. The staff are lovely, Montez the bar staff member gave us such wonder service very nice guy, the cleaning lady for our room in 301 was such a lovely lady and gave is the best service, I even left her a tip, just made us feel so welcome and all the other staff members, kyan the bar staff member from the pool bar was such a lovely lad, I could go on all day about the staff we never had a bad experience and also everything is included, from top self drinks, bacardi, smirnoff vodka ect all inclusive with your package aswell as cocktails, some places say all inclusive and you get there and u have to pay well not at mitis, absolutely everything is inclusive we are already planning our next holiday there but not for 10 nights but for 14 because this 10 isn't enough for such a beautiful resort so see you next year mitis blue domes kind regards from Mr Cooper

A very nice place to be. We where here at the end of October in Blue Domes. We two adults and two kids enjoyed our stay in a family bungalow. The hotel is very clean and the gardens and trees are impressive. Also the food had a big variety and was mostly delicious. The personell is nice and friendly, calimera everywhere. Some, like especially Elisavet are so kind. She helped us so much with orientation, tipps and always had a smile on her face. We will surely come back.

This is our second visit to The Blue Domes, the first one was 9 years ago so we didn’t remember much about the hotel however we are regular visitors to the Mitsis Chain. The hotel and grounds its self and all of the buildings is lovely and looks lovely when it’s all lit up at night time. If you are disabled , elderly or have children in a buggy , there are steps and hills to climb. I was shocked that for 5 days of stay that the main lift was “out of order” didn’t see once someone trying to fix this. Luckily for us, we’re fit and able so we climbed the stairs (even though we were out of breath by the time we got to the top, so I can’t imagine someone elderly in that heat being able to do that easily) there was a couple of disabled families there so I don’t know how they spike have coped with this. Really not good! As I’ve mentioned above, we’re regulars to the Mitsis chain and normally the staff can’t do enough for you! Here at The Blue Domes, they act as though they’re doing you a favour! They didn’t go out of their way for any thing and it almost like “computer says no” for things like , could my child have a pasta dish from the Italian as we’re dining in the Asian and they don’t like it - “No!”. One night , our son who typically was the hungriest out of all three of my children (the other 2 had the starters) was left waiting for 35 mins for a mini pizza to cook as they kept forgetting it, there was no urgency or even a sorry. The food is really nice however with your “Alila” the food is dressed so much better and more options so we could tell that the Blue Domes was not up to the same standard. The kids menu was pretty rubbish! Hardly any choice and each night “fish sticks and chips” “Mini Burger and chips” “mini pizza” where is the veg, fruit in such a giant hotel?! I agree with another review that I’ve just read that they bring your food out as you’re still on one course or they clear away plates as you’re still eating! The room we had was nice, it had a hot tub which we hardly used but was nice to have as an option. I did notice that not once was our balcony swept, it was covered in dead flowers and sprite (that my child had spilt) so we also shared our balcony with ants! Before we booked I emailed the hotel to ask it their pools were salty as my children hate them, I was told that they were all freshwater ..: nope! Some were salty and one or 2 are not, not sure why I wasn’t told the correct info. The pools are lovely though however I cut my leg most times that I got out of the pool as the edges are as sharp as glass! They had one guy serving you on your sunbeds from the pool bar, I felt sorry for him! He was on his feet all day in that sun , serving people drinks… I hope he gets lots of tips! Overall, we had a lovely family holiday. Some improvements needed and the staff so need to realise that they aren’t doing us a favour, we’ve paid money and their wages to come on our holiday!

It is a wonderful resort. All staff was ready to serve us and fulfill our wishes . Clean rooms , many restaurants and a great pool bar . Delight dishes at the Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants. Plants and pools all around just like a tropical island. Perfect for families , couples . I'll be back soon

Loved our stay staff were so welcoming. Dining experiences were good and we had a fabulous room. Feedback was given about signage at the hotel to assist with knowing what and where all the food outlets were but this was a little thing.. we will be back to the Mitsis brand :)

Completely exceeded our expectations and more. Will definitely be returning. The staff are very attentive and always friendly. Made our experience that much better. Comfy rooms, amazing views and even better food.
