Arrive 2 days ago, the staff have been fantastic so far. Helped us with our luggage to our room and showed us where everything was. Staying in a premium sea view room and it has everything you could need including a coffee machine and a kettle which is a lovely touch! The view is insane and glad I paid for the upgrade. The infinity pool is stunning with lots of different depths which is great as it suits everyone, it is cold in May, but once you’re in, the body adjusts and you dry off quickly in the sunshine. You are regularly asked if you want a drink meaning you don’t even need to get up if you’re feeling lazy. The breakfast and dinner was lovely, really enjoyed it, everything was clean and the buffet isn’t massive like other hotels I have been to which is a big plus point for me. Everything was cooked well and tasted delicious. We have booked our stay at the Mediterranean restaurant and Soya Restaurant - there weren’t many available slots so we were limited to choice on times and days. We could only have our champagne breakfast on the last day. Last night was Greek Dance night which was really fun, they got everyone involved and it was a good laugh. The waiters and waitresses all have chats with you and are very friendly, the drinks in the evening are delicious and so well presented. My husband is already talking about booking for next year. It’s beautiful and I think it’s a place we’d love to return to.

We came here last year and fell in love with this place and it has not disappointed this year. Not often you get the great experience 2nd time around but it does have the wow factor. The staff are amazing, Mikel, Dimetri and Tzina looked after us every evening with smiles and chat. The food selection is wonderful and credit to the chefs. We still have a few more days here but we have not been let down. I really cannot fault this hotel.

I had a great time at the Michelangelo Resort & Spa with my wife and our 2-year-old son. We stayed here for a week. The food was amazing, and the rooms were very clean. My absolute favourite features were the coffee machine in the room and the spacious balcony. We didn't have a sea view room, which I would recommend. Next time, we will make sure to upgrade for the best experience. The island is lovely, and I suggest renting a buggy for a fun way to explore it. The three-island cruise is a must. We went with Katerina boat, which I recommend for a more exclusive, personal experience. It's a family-run business.

I am on vacation several times a year. I was very positively surprised by this hotel! Beautiful view of the swimming pool and the sea. The Maldives is my number 1 but this place is like the Maldives in Europe. amazing! beautiful hotel! nice service, delicious food and great animations also for adults! Aqua gym with Magix is the best on Kos! ❤️ I will come back in next year !

If you have booked this hotel for your summer holiday you won't be disappointed it's just brilliant. We just returned after spending ten nights here and I can't fault the staff, cleanliness, facilities. Our room was perfect with amazing views and absolutely spotless. Staff so lovely and helpful. We booked for a massage which was very relaxing, we also booked the medetaranian restaurant which was delicious and we booked the restaurant soya which was good for me but a bit disappointing for my husband as he was looking forward to tofu but they didn't have any even though it featured on the menu. But on the whole there was plenty of choice for me and husband in main restaurant. The only small criticism is more staff needed on pool bar at busy times. But really loved this beautiful hotel A+++

Michelangelo is a lovely resort and we enjoyed our stay for 11 nights. We were celebrating my wife’s 30th birthday and had chosen Michelangelo for its amazing reviews and views of the sea. We were allocated a partial sea view bedroom which was spacious, modern, clean and tidy, aside from a pack of cigarettes left in the wardrobe. Daily our room was cleaned and fresh towels and bottles of water was provided. I am unsure if Kos is regularly windy, however there were loud wind blowing noises through our bedroom at night, potentially due to the seals around the front door. There was a birds nest on the corridor wall light just outside our room, which was nice to see, however this did lead to frequently having bird poo all over the floor and wall. There are a number of pools at the hotel, and the main infinity pool is beautiful. Towels are collected on arrival with your tickets. The sun loungers are amazing and very comfortable, and there are also bean bags if unable to find a lounger. It is difficult to find a lounger after 8am. There is also a good amount of loungers on the beach, which is pebbly, and a bar on the sea front too. There is a good selection of food at the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was nice and the waiters are quick to offer water and drinks on arrival. Unfortunately on most occasions, we were left with empty glasses, after our initial orders were finished for long periods of time (I appreciate they had many tables to attend to). For improvement, I feel the hotel could do show cooking/dishes to order (eg omelettes at breakfast) as this is seen at most 5* hotels. There is also a small selection at the snack bar by the pool to have in afternoons including salad, pasta, and chips. They also have a menu to order from which is not included in the all inclusive. There is also a help yourself cart of free ice cream with multiple flavours. Soya Al a carte was lovely and would highly recommend the bao buns and the sweet & sour chicken. Mediterraneo Al a carte was good, service was very good however evening was let down a very disappointing lamb dish which was tough, chewy and inedible. The service was great following this and provided another meal free of charge. The bars are spacious however when the entertainment is playing, it is difficult to find a seat. The bar staff are fantastic, and work tirelessly to provide drinks and clean your table. The entertainment was good, ranging from tribute acts (drifters, il divo and Lionel Richie to name a few) to Greek traditional dancing. There is a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks at the bars, with a good range of cocktails. We were a little disappointed at the very restricted list of non alcoholic cocktails/beer/wine. This would have been utilised a lot by pregnant wife. As it was my wife’s 30th birthday, I had sent 2 emails and had a face to face conversation with guest relations on arrival, to see if there was any way to arrange a celebration. The hote

The Michelangelo is a very good, family friendly, all-inclusive resort - I would say a ‘good 4 star’. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. Although I do personally think that it is worth paying the extra for a sea-view room - with the 1st/2nd floors of block 17 probably being the prime spots - as they offer amazing views over the legendary infinity pool and across the sea to the Turkish coast. The evening entertainment is, let’s say, ‘entertaining’ and great fun. We especially enjoyed the Jersey Tones (3 guys in red jackets) and the Golden Tones (the same three guys, in yellow jackets) - both featuring a guest appearance by ‘Shirley Bassey’! The food is very good; freshly prepared and reasonably varied. And the range of drinks and cocktails on offer, even under ‘all-inclusive’, is good. Although I did take issue with the tonic, in a gin & tonic, being served from large plastic bottles (and therefore most likely to be flat). I suspect that this was the first indication that a few corners are perhaps being cut. Other ‘missing corners’ could be the fact that the Pool Bar by the ‘upper’ pool was closed (maybe it opens later in the season?) - the water features by the restaurant and in the upper pool were either switched off or broken - and the advertised ‘theme nights’ in the restaurant were barely discernible from the normal fare. Having said that, and taking everything into consideration, the Michelangelo offers tremendous value for money and if we were ever to return to Kos it would definitely be on our list.
