Ramira beach is situated only a ten-minute drive from the pretty Kos Town with its lovely Marina. The hotel is part of the Mitsis group, and this was our first visit to a hotel in this chain. On arrival, guest relations gave us a welcome drink (the Mitsis homemade lemonade, which is utterly delicious!) and check-in was smooth and simple. You pay your tourist tax at check-in also. Our cases were transported as we were escorted to our room (24), a family room on the ground floor of the main building. I had booked a pool-view room and I was a little disappointed that we actually had a view of the garden from our balcony (with a little glimpse of the sea to the side) and the balcony didn’t get any sun on it at all, at any time of the day. This location was also quite noisy as the corridor is a main throughfare from the front to the back of the hotel and is also situated near the Lobby bar where the entertainment is quite loud until late in the evening. Nevertheless, our room was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning was good and the all-included, stocked fridge was great and refilled with water, soda, wine and beer every two days. Also, the bathroom was nice and clean, plentiful clean towels, always had plenty of hot water and the toiletries were lovely quality. The standard and choice of food available in the buffet restaurant was very good at all mealtimes. In particular, I thought the choice available at breakfast was very wide, and really tasty. I must also mention Miltaedes who looked after us each morning at breakfast time and was so funny and attentive, always refilling our coffee - he was a delight! Drinks at mealtime are served at your table (unlike many AI’s that have self-serve beer, wine and soda) and while this felt like a luxury service, it could sometimes take a while to get a drink, and even longer to get a refill which was a bit frustrating – my husband commented it sometimes felt like being on rations! We ate at two of the a la carte restaurants – the Italian was really super, especially the smoked salmon starter. We also had the a la carte brunch on one day which was enjoyable too. Drinks at the bars are good quality and tasty, although the cocktails listed at the bars are largely the hotel’s own creations (with the exception of Pina Colada) and some are rather unusual! I tried several, and the Amanda was my favourite, but they won’t suit all tastes. That said, the prosecco, wines and beer were very nice, and the no-alcohol ‘mocktails’ that featured the divine homemade lemonade were delicious. The beach bar is great for a lunchtime bite, with tasty gyros and burger on offer, plus salads. It feels quite surf-shack vibe which I really liked. The wonderful Malaki also constantly works the sunbeds along the private beach (which are super comfy) and he is rightly one of the stars of the Ramira show. We tried the creperie for crepes/waffles a few times during our week, but the very long queuing

We have just returned from a week long family holiday and I cannot praise this hotel enough. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. We arrived at around 11pm and we walked into a room with a double bed (we wanted two singles). I asked at reception if this could be changed the next morning aware that it was very late and not expecting a housekeeper to be available. The receptionist said it wasn’t a problem at they would change it right away, the beds were changed within 20 minutes, incredible service. The bars have an excellent selection of cocktails and mocktails, Joanna in particular provided excellent service and was a friendly face each morning. In the restaurant, all staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, despite being extremely busy. There was a great selection of food at all meal times and it was always very tasty. We stayed on Halloween and the hotel was decorated and staff dressed up putting on a wonderful party, lots of dancing and even a special ‘blood’ cocktail which was a lovely mulled wine drink, the staff really made the evening special. At the beach the gentleman delivering drinks was excellent and the beach bar a great spot to get some yummy gyros. Thank you team Ramira, we will be back!!

Malik (one of the waiters) was very friendly and such a helpful member of staff who made our holiday experience very relaxing by always being there to be at our service when we needed. He was always very happy and must've walked several km by the end of each shift as he never stopped! The hotel itself is amazing with lots of choice of food and drink. The pools were always well cleaned and there were plenty of choice for sunbeds. We found the sunbeds on the beach to be the comfiest by far especially the large beds. The gyros at the beach bar were lovely and the staff again were great, working hard to keep every guest happy. The room we had was a lovely family room facing towards the main pool and we could see a bit of the sea. The mini bar was topped up every 2 days with plenty of drinks to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Lovely hotel, modern, very clean, great facilities. Little extras of fridge in room with drinks, slippers, dressing gowns. Staff very friendly and helpful, even at end of season. Concierge services lovely for celebrations. Number of activities throughout day, aqua, yoga archery etc. Entertainment in evening excellent! Bookable restaurants superb (book before you travel as get booked up). Buffet restaurant quite manic, bit like a canteen, really bright lights, too many tables, get bumped into, old style decor, would benefit from a new chic/trendy look. Would be nice to have wine/beer/juice zone, rather than waiting lengthy times to order drinks before you queue for food. Little less busy after 8.00pm. Swimming pools very cold, but venture in, soon warm up if you swim around, sea much warmer. Hotel staff fantastic when I fell ill towards end of holiday, ensured we were looked after.

Great family holiday x9. Lovely location on a stoney beach with stunning views. Rooms nice and big, kept very clean, mini bar stocked up regularly. Buffet restaurant very nice lots to choose from and we had x4 ala cartes meals in 10days. Pools nice x3 very hot in August, kostandinos the pool barmen looked after us with drinks to cool us down. All staff worked hard. Recommend doing the thermal springs if you can. Horse riding to for budding jockeys of all ages at salt lake stables we used very good. Would recommend this hotel definatly only slight shortage on the 5star was evening entertainment could be better other than that great vacation had by all.

This hotel was fantastic, the rooms were a good size and exceptionally clean with a good size balcony. There is a free safe in the room. The air conditioning worked very well which was welcomed as there was a heat wave while we stayed. The food was lovely, with a great variety, make sure to book the a la carte restaurants, the food and service is fantastic. There are three pools one being a salt water pool that we used most days. The only negative is trying to get a sun bed as guests put towels out in the morning and then don’t use the beds until the afternoon and the hotel do not control this so it can be difficult to get a bed by the pool. The hotel has its own beach with a bar that serves food and drinks. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had a fantastic holiday, thank you.
