Aegean View Aqua Resort

First holiday with my girlfriend and we went here. when we arrived we had a look around our room to find it filthy with 2 dead cockroaches in the room with one being under the bed. One of the closet doors was broken, a hole had been drilled in the door and covered with tape, the room was also very dim with little lighting. Had to wait for cleaning staff to come and clean it.

The hotel location is beautiful the pools are brilliant and it’s lovely to see them all lit up at night however that’s about all the positives I have… The staff are literally useless so much so we were taken around the whole hotel complex twice as the staff member didn’t know where the rooms were. Not fun carrying 2 large suitcase up a significant amount of steps… The food is vile more a less the same thing day in day out for breakfast lunch and dinner with a few changes here and there. For an all inclusive resort it’s quite shocking! The entertainment provided well it was if the staff wanted to provide the least as possible because they just couldn’t be bothered! So much so all you see is people playing cards to keep themselves occupied. Rooms are somewhat cleaned every couple of days but no new towels no new washing soaps provided. I even had a towel with a blood stain on! Not the biggest thing but the bathroom is disgusting with a toilet seat that doesn’t even fit the pan and a shower cubicle that’s dirty and covered in mould and has a shower head which just about trickles water out. Biggest ick was the state of the public toilets as the men’s had bird droppings everywhere and a birds nest present. I get it’s an open space but this is disgusting and I didn’t appreciate having to use facilities with birds flying around above me. The hotel needs a lot of work and it’s a massive shame as it’s peaceful and a great place to relax with overlooking the views out to sea. The pools are beautiful but I would personally think twice before going here! The resort does not have a spa and the water park is 3 small child sized water slides…

The hotel was lovely lots of pools to choose from and the entertainment was fantastic every night and on Tuesday it is greek night with greek dancers and music a big shout out to David in the Entertainment team and Oliwia who made our holiday extra special they made it fun they are the best. They are a credit to the hotel. The reception staff are fantastic any questions I had they were so helpful. The catering staff are lovely and the manager in there runs it well its spotless and the food was really good lots of choices and you can eat from you wake up till 1 in the morning. Free bus comes to the hotel and takes you into the town daily runs all through the day and you can get it back from the town to the hotel. There is a wee shop across from reception sells everything. My husband and I were weary about coming here because of the reviews- we had the most brilliant time, all staff work extremely hard, from cleaning staff to entertainment team- We asked for a room close to everything due to husbands disability and that is exactly what we got- Entertainment team asked us once if we wanted to participate and we said once we didn’t and we explained why we couldn’t but instead of ignoring us, they spoke to us daily and asked how we were- Hotel manager was always around looking after people. Food was mostly ok, I’m a fussy eater and still ate well every day- They do put a shuttle bus service on free of charge but book it as it can get busy Would highly recommend this place especially if you just want a relaxing holiday and don’t want to go anywhere. We were able to shower before we left and was looked after even after check out. Thank you everyone from the lady with blue hair and her husband- we will see you again soon

This hotel was a hit and miss, the room was okay however the bathroom was extremely outdated it almost looked like the door had been burnt due to all of the black at the bottom of it. Most of the paintwork and general walls looked like it was falling off and we had a very leaky bath. Every time we used the shower the bathroom would be covered in water. The food was okay, but was never much choice. The staff at the hotel were lovely always so friendly and welcoming. The drinks were better than I expected for a an all inclusive especially the cocktails. This hotel is definitely for people who aren’t too bothered about entertainment as there is never really much going on. The variety of pools are great especially the one with the slides it was always quiet they are a bit dirty though and didn’t seem like they were cleaned once we were there The location is beautiful as are the views, me and my partner rented bikes as it was too far to walk into the town or beach. It is a bit hilly but it is manageable. I would reccomend this hotel more for people who want to stay at the hotel to chill as there honestly wasn’t much to do.

Really disappointed. Views are stunning, grounds and slme pools ok...resort needs a lot of money spent in it.. 1 pool, lots of people cutting their feet on broken tiles on pool floor... reported but nothing done.... Dirty rooms, mould in bathroom, ceiling coving missing and hid in bathroom. No cleaning done. Rude staff, not enough staff. Meals average like any all inclusive. Entertainment... nothing. In 10 day we saw 2 acts. Even music was shut off at 10 every night, when ask why.... they said because of neighbours. Kids games room.. Only pool table available, all other games4 of them all off. Electrics so dangerous... Photos included..... I could go on Just terrible
