Mitsis Family Village Beach Hotel

Cannot rate this hotel enough. Everything was exceptional. Food choices are amazing, drinks are fantastic. Rooms are clean and spacious. Pools are brilliant especially the slide pool. Beach is clean with great food choices (the best pork gyros I've tasted). Staff are really friendly and helpful and the views are beautiful. Will definitely book again!

I am a travel agent and this was my first visit to a Mitsis hotel. I travelled with my husband and 3 children. I was really impressed with the Mitsis brand and have since recommended to my clients. I was fortunate enough to experience tours and try the facilities in all 4 of the Mitsis hotels in this particular area (all set around a beautiful beach) which included the Family Village, The Norida, Summer Palace and Blue Domes. They are all very different but really beautiful with everything you could wish for to enjoy a fabulous holiday. The staff that looked after us were all friendly and attentive. The beach that all 4 hotels have access to is stunning with crystal clear waters and snack bars available on the beach for residents of any of the hotels. There are also 3 large waterslides behind the hotels that residents can use. We had a swim up family room which was great and the kids loved this. The views from the hotel balcony were beautiful overlooking the Aegean. Rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard and the whole resort was clean and well kept. Another hit with the kids was the crepes served all day in Family Village. There is a regular bus service through the day and late into the evening to and from the local town of Kardamena which is around 15 minutes away which is well worth a visit. We will definitely return!

We stayed there July 11 th for one week Everything was really good I was a bit nervous before we arrived as I checked so many reviews but all was good.( nice bt proseco for birthday and some fruits 🍉 Food, was good drinks extra nice we usually go Spain or Portugal but the are the best so far, room nice and big, pool was great and the staff working there gives absolutely 100% It was our first holiday in Greece but definitely not last 100% recommended

One of the best holidays ever. Food, weather, staff was very good. Located in quiet location with few places to go. A bit of walk to the sea, was not a problem for us. Can recommend to any one. Take room with swimming pool access, you won’t regret. Thank you Mitsis for our great holiday,can’t wait to be back.

Lovely relaxed holiday, big shout out to all the staff at the hotel including Nico, crepe man, Esther and Rui they all work so hard and really do an amazing job. Food is good we never went hungry and there was lots of choice, the pasta and the risotto made at the counter was my favourite. Drinks were great and you could ask for anything you wanted . We had a mountain view room which was basic but fine plenty of space, we did have a problem with ants and it took a few days to resolve but it didn't bother us to much. The beach and the sea are amazing truly beautiful,the fish swimming about were a highlight of the holiday, food on the beach good, would help if other holiday makers cleaned up after themselves though. Would agree with previous post about more information on entertainment what is going on in the other hotels including the amphitheatre, there were some dancers on one night and they only had about 3 people watching them I'm sure if more people had known about them they would of gone to watch. Yes the hotel does need a bit of a refurbishment, but everyone who works in this hotel does their best for it under some trying circumstances (quite a few rude guests) . Amazing first holiday abroad for our 8 yr old who just ate chips, spag bol, chocolate and Oreo crepes and drank so much cola she didn't want to go home, we had a brilliant time and would love to go back .

Stayed here for a week with my 11yo daughter, my friend, and her 2yo son. 2 days before our holiday my daughter developed some health issues and needed to use a wheelchair (she could walk a little and manage some steps) I contacted the hotel and they moved us to an accessible room. During our stay they could not do enough for us! Everybody went above and beyond to ensure we could still enjoy our holiday, even driving down the hill to the waterslide pool to collect us and take us back to the hotel every day. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating, food was divine, drinks and ice cream were free flowing and the whole place was kept immaculately clean throughout. We will definitely be returning once my daughter is back to full health! Thank you all and I hope you all enjoy the rest at the end of the season.

The true essence of genuine hospitality and honest service comes from the heart, and is impossible to fake. Every single member of the Holiday Village team display and carry out this virtue tirelessly daily, led passionately from the front and by example, by the GM Mitlos. We stayed at the end of May as a family of 4 with two young boys in a shared pool room. Our pre-stay email requests had been acknowledged and answered in a timely manner, which to me is always an encouraging sign. Yes the hotel could do with investment, yes the food can get a tad “samey”, the kids club is pretty much non existent, it’s on a hill and there is some construction going on in the sister hotel next door… The hotel management know this and would love to correct it. But none of that matters when you have the fundamentals of good people and a strong team, in place. Unfortunately we had two medical emergencies during our stay, including on the last day prior to our transfer collections. The level of care and empathy shown from Mitlos and the team was extraordinary. I was truly touched by their warmth and concern. I hope you don’t have to suffer and experience the Kos health care system, widely known to the locals as the worst in Greece. Massive investment is badly needed. Overall the positives outweigh the negatives. The pizza on the beach was a particularly strong hit with my boys, complimentary sun beds and (fixed) umbrellas a plus. Just remember to duck! Amazing crepe bar, strong cocktails, tasty food, staff who remembered you and wanted to go the extra mile at every opportunity. Well done Mitlos and team. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and the images however when we arrived it was clear that half of the reviews were from the sister hotel next door that you needed to pay for, the pools that were shown on the web site were for swim up rooms, The food was as far from 4 start ultra all inclusive as you could get, not a single label in site to even know what you are eating and produce was clearly inferior to the sister hotels as it had no flavour what so ever, The dining staff need training in customer service as they were rude and had a whatever attitude, no cutlery on the tables, hunt the clean coffee cup at breakfast is not what I expect from inlets all inclusive

I’m totally baffled by the reviews and photos some of which definitely aren’t at the hotel. Eating in the restaurant is extremely difficult as nothing is labelled so impossible to know what you are eating especially if you are vegan or have food allergies unfortunately some staff in the restaurant weren’t very friendly on every occasion we went there we had to hunt for cups glasses and cutlery, when we asked eyes were raised and tuts and on one occasion the plate thrown on the table because of this we never felt comfortable to ask for assistance with food choices.We ended up visiting other mitsis hotels (food always labelled there) and eating out at our own cost. Bar staff and reception friendly and comfortable beds but this no way made up for the holiday we booked and the one we got. We did register a complaint and was told someone tried to talk to us but this didn’t happen. Such a shame as the other Mitsis hotels were beautiful.
