We have two 10 yr girls. food good & variety was there in the changing buffet. staff were to a person lovely, cleaners catering and bar staff fab. Entertainment team did a great job with the kids. We loved the pool aerobics… never thought I would say that…. Evening entertainment was fun. Room was family 2bed room spacious well equipped. We had treatments from Spa which were really good again staff fantastic. Some nice running routes by the way. Any negatives… ? the A la carte restaurant was Fawlty Towers in its service. Prob worth a visit for that! Would recommend

We've just had a great week at the White Olive, alot of fun for our 10 year old and we had a good week away. The receptionists are great, really helpful and check in was easy with bags then taken to our room. The room was great - 2 adjoining rooms with son's room even having a separate tv. I had expressed that Husband's mobility wasn't great and they put us in a block that was close to the pools and restaurant - perfect. Those with mobility issues, the resort is mostly flat so all good. We had the room made up daily and they did a really great job that was much appreciated. The pools are fabulous - the aqua slides fun pool was great for kids, son had a blast. The main large pool is a good size and the waves every hour was great fun. The adult only pool where I escaped to was very chilled with it's own bar and was just what I needed. Loved it. There are life guards but alot of time on their phone so basically, watch your kids. The beach at the hotel was lovely - very stoney so sea shoes etc needed but if you love swimming in the sea, it's so nice. The waves can get quite strong with strong winds so I would be careful. Food. The area that folk go and get food is alas just too small. It does get really congested and food can run out. Food always replenished but not the best experience in rush hour. I am a salad bar and meat and fish kind of person so I found plenty to eat as did my son. Husband struggled with some of the cooked food - salty or not hot enough. But the staff as always try their best and I cannot fault them. There is food by the main pool bar but serving area is small. Pizza, chips, something porky and something fishy with plenty of salads. We have decided that we can't face pork for a quite a while now......Ice cream is not available for free by the pools which is an odd one - you can buy icecreams but all inclusive to us has always meant free all day etc. We bought from the ice cream shop 1 day and the cones were stale. There is a shop on site but incredibly overpriced compared to other on site shops that we have used before at other hotels. Entertainment. The animation team are amazing and work long hours and try so hard to do their best. The mini disco is always a big hit but the shows are hit and miss. There is a bit of reliance on audience participation what with quizzes and the cringe Mr Hotel (making 5 or 6 blokeys do embarrassing and ridiculous things for the sake of entertainment...). So many people left during this one. There doesn't seem to be alot of resources so odd costumes and interesting head gear (chickens, parrots and other farm like animals). On the Sunday - a day off for the team and nothing was advertised but there was a dance troupe that we missed as we didn't know it was on.....a real shame. You can get to Kos Town on a bus which picks you up near the hotel. Well worth a visit as plenty of shops and a lovely Old Town. But you are hassled alot by restaurants to sit down and eat and it feels uncomfortably

So worried about visiting this hotel the amount of thefts I've read about is so unsettling. We have been around the world stayed in amazing hotels never have we had anything taken from our room. I just feel we are going to constantly have to worry about our belongings whilst staying at this hotel.

We are on day two staying at this hotel and we are really disappointed to learn that all inclusive ice cream is not as stated. As a family we are not big drinkers however having three girls (aged 9, 9 and 7) all inclusive made sense. However, there are no all inclusive ice creams throughout the day around the swimming pool or close by. The only ice cream available is in the restaurant at limited times. I’m sure they won’t appreciate nor allow children that are wet from the pool walking in to get a little bit of ice cream. Coming from a parent with unhappy kids!

Came here to say we really enjoyed our stay at white olive, the reason for my star rating was mainly because I had a green dress stolen from my suitcase which I’m very disappointed about, it is my own fault for leaving it unlocked but I just didn’t expect someone to do something like that, so please make sure you lock up your belongings when leaving your hotel room. Such a shame as other than this we really loved our holiday and my little boy especially loved the water slides, entertainment in the evening was good but didn’t go on for very long, also be aware even if you pay for all inclusive there is a bar next to the kids pool that is not included in this so if your after an ice cream you will be having to pay for it, which I also found to be quite bad seeing as we had paid for the week ‘all inclusive’.

t's a shame that ice cream is not included in the all-inclusive as in other hotels. It would be better to increase the prices and include ice cream; or make 1 all-inclusive (without ice) and 1 superior all-inclusive (with ice cream and waffles included)we are actualisés in this hotel(room 2810 )pur toilett paper in a bucket is not very hygiénique!!! In this hotel you have to pay all ( cocktails, ice ...) even when you are all inclusive

Almost perfect. Staff were fabulous, especially, Alyssa on reception, Clyde at the pool bar and Barbie aka Laura in the entertainment. Rooms lovely. Pools were great, food was very good. All I would change is the quality of the drinks offered in the all inclusive.

Arrived home yesterday after a week stay at White Olive. We were a family of 6, from ages 14 to 80. Each and everyone of us enjoyed every moment at this hotel. It has recently been taken over by new management and yes there are a few minor issues that need to be ironed out but staff are happy to go above and beyond to sort out issues. Just because this hotel is not perfect, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve 5 stars. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful reception staff and the front of house manager. We had 3x rooms for the 6 of us and we were placed almost next door to one another on the ground floor as 2 members of our family had mobility problems. One of the buggy guys took us and our cases to our room which was great. The rooms were clean and modern and had everything you may need. A mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a safe. You need to pay €10 deposit for the safe key which you’ll get back when you return your key. Pools towels are €10 deposit again you get this back when you leave. There is a hut where you get your towels from by the adult pool 8:30-2:30 I believe. You can change your towels there every few days too. You return your towels to the hut and the guy will give you a card to hand to reception who will then give you your deposit back. There are 3 pools on site a kids pool with slides which I didn’t use but looked great fun. A wave pool, where the waves are activated every hour. Entertainment activities such as water stretching and yoga are held in this pool too. Then there is the adult pool which also has their own bar, great for people who don’t want to be around the other pools with the kids. The hotel is situated on the beach, yes it is rocky, but that shouldn’t be a reflection on the hotel. Bring water shoes or buy from the on site shop for €10. Once you’re past the rocky part the water is great. There are showers as you come of the beach to wash yourself down and get rid of the sand from your feet. Staff at the pool bar day time and night time are friendly and work their socks off. The snack bar at the calypso bar is amazing serving freshly cooked food. Greek delights, pizzas and chips. Yes there normally is a queue for the pizzas but again the staff are working their socks off and food is continuously cooking. There is always a selection of different food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. I found the food really nice and always found something that I would eat. Even my two fussy kids found somethings they would eat. The hotel itself is remote but you can get a bus from the main road into Kos town or a taxi which was €5 a person a total of €30 for us into Kos and the same to go into Tgaiki. The entertainment team are brilliant, very friendly. The Michael Jackson tribute show is one to watch, it was fab. Rooms are cleaned most days. They are not cleaned on Sundays but you are given clean towels. The lobby bar is great and Flora behind the bar is friendly a

Just arrived home after spending 10 nights here and definitely got the holiday blues!! The hotel is spotless, the staff are friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. The slides are perfect for our 6 and 1 year old girls. The food is good and always plenty of choice, cooked fresh and replenished often. The rooms are spacious and modern and the hotel grounds are lovely. The sun set from the hotel is stunning. Would 100% return! And so lovely to see the lovely, happy, kind Connie at reception after meeting her last year at another hotel, as soon as we saw her we knew we were in good hands, always goes above and beyond to make the guest stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!!
