Koia All - Suite Well Being Resort - Adults Only

We had a great stay at Koia Resort last week. The resort was so beautiful and intentionally designed, however, the demeanour of the staff was what made this truly a memorable stay for us. From the start we were met with open and welcoming members such as Kevin and Nicos. The restaurant staff always made an effort to make us laugh and personalise our experiences. Alex repeatedly reminded us that he wanted us ”to just exist” and that the staff would take care of it all. They would remember our names and provide such a warm environment to be around. The operations manager Anna was a delight and would never shy away from reaching out to us and asking about our stay. The housekeeping staff were also so lovely and kind. Although the island was beautiful, the reason this trip has been so brilliant for us was truly because of the hospitality of the staff.

What an absolute gem of an offering, our first time Greek experience and we shall be back. From start to finish the execution of the Koia philosophy was carried out to the nth degree, but without being pretentious in anyway, totally natural and warming. The suited hotel was beautiful, our room was superb, the staff exceptional, everything to make ours and other guests stay was never any trouble. Sited on the Agios Fokas peninsular the Koia offered spectacular views only enhanced by the late October weather in Kos. Our intention was to enjoy a week of relaxation and the Koia gave us this in abundance, the food, the bar, the spa and general ambiance could not have been better. The intention is not to stay still but to improve on their offering, which is to be applauded in all respects, from anything that can be improved to the surroundings and moving forward with sustainable offerings in the kitchen with furtherance of the home grown on site philosophy. In short an exceptional facility in exceptional surroundings with exceptional staff, we cannot be more pleased to have been part of the Koia journey and experience.

Living room ,bed room with a view ,out door shower and private pool . What more could I ask for . Welcome drinks upon arrival. Spectacular food . Amazing view . Yoga ! The staff were lovely and accommodating. A new hotel that didn’t let me down Will be coming back

This has definitely got to be one of the nicest places I have stayed. Peace and tranquillity. Beautiful rooms and beautiful aesthetics. Everything is pristine. All staff are lovely. The only negative I would say is that food service is slow. One night we had to wait over an hour for our food however everything is made to order and completely fresh. Overall, wonderful stay and would go back.

Just returned from a 10 day holiday at Koia resort. We wanted peace and tranquility and were not disappointed. We were met on arrival late at night with a welcome drink and friendly staff who took us to our suite via buggy. Straight to sleep and woke refreshed after sleeping in a super comfortable bed with very comfy pillows. Hubby was super pleased with the automatic blinds and curtains! The view was incredible. We had the junior suite with whirlpool. Breakfast is very relaxed, available until 11 and the choice is superb. The champagne is also readily available. Everything is cooked fresh and you can ask for omelettes etc. depending on who serves you, depends on the service. Everyone was friendly, especially George and they all worked hard. Service was a bit hit and miss some days and we sometimes didn’t get our drinks orders. Staff were pulled in lots of different directions and we understood from talking to some that recruitment was an issue, so they were working long hours and struggling to get staff. We were bed and breakfast basis which was the right decision for us. The evening meal menu is very limited and we only ate there a couple of times. A more extensive menu would be a great idea. We ordered room service a couple of times and the pizzas were lovely. There is a taverna a 15 minute walk away which we went to three times. We hired a beach buggy through reception from Safe Wheels who picked us up to take us to the hire centre. This allowed us to eat out in Kos at the harbour restaurants. I would recommend hiring a car at least for a couple of days. We never struggled to get a sunbed at the resort which are the most comfortable I have ever laid on. Pool drinks service would have been nice but it was no issue to walk to the bar and order which would then be brought out to you. A real get away from it all experience. More staff would have made it perfect as I think they definitely have the right ethos. We miss it already!
