Na een warme ontvangst door de eigenaar, met wie we een paar gezellige en interessante babbels hadden, konden we zalig ontspannen in de jacuzzi. De zeer ruime duplex-kamer was voorzien van thee/koffie faciliteiten, handdoeken, wasgel en zo meer. Wifi en tv, een zetel, tafel en stoel waren aanwezig. Het bed was comfortabel, en de kamer stil. We hebben goed kunnen slapen! Ook de omgeving was de moeite waard. De trap naar deze t****e verdieping was bijzonder gemakkelijk te beklimmen door de relatieve lage maar wel brede treden. Gezien mijn beperkte mobiliteit speelde dit een belangrijke rol voor mij. Vanop die hoogte bieden de dakramen een mooi zicht over Kortenberg en het lokale groen. Uiterlijk zou het huis in de eerste plaats misschien wat kunnen ontmoedigen, maar wees gerust, wat je aan deze prijs krijgt is verbluffend. Binnen is alles goed verzorgd. Dit is een aanrader!
