Roula, the owner, keeps the garden beautiful and is there from dawn till everyone is in bed, it seems. The rooms we had were spacious and the self catering limited, but adequate. Good food on site too. Roula keeps the garden looking beautiful and the food on site is reasonably priced. The pool is lovely, and going in May/June was perfect for us. Not too hot, not too busy. Friendly welcoming, clean and nearby facilities include tavernas, supermarkets and bike hire (Spiros was great).

When we first got to the complex, I wasn’t happy about the rooms. Very basic and couldn’t really cook in the kitchen. The upstairs rooms were newley renovated. Even though the room wasn’t the best, it was still an amazing holiday. Such a lovely complex. Not too busy and the pool was amazing. The food was gorgeous and a reasonable price. Roula, the owner, was amazing. She would do anything for anyone. Roula was so welcoming and always made sure that we were okay. Couldn’t do anymore for us. Such a hard working woman! The rooms downstairs that we were in are all getting renovated for the new season starting in 2024. I would definitely recommend Lord Complex and would definitely return. Thank you Roula for making our holiday amazing!

The complex is very friendly and as soon as we got there we felt at home. The owner Roula is such a great person who makes sure you have everything you need and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable The rooms wasn’t amazing but it was everything you needed but coming into the new 2024 season she is getting them renovated. I’ll definitely be going back the pool was amazing. Good height and the bar was reasonable Thank you Roula

One of the best hotels I’ve been too amazing staff so friendly and happy to help. Make you feel welcome and at home and will go above to help you. Would go again 100% owner is lovely and so down to earth. Food is gorgeous and fairly priced and pool is perfect. Not a bad thing to say about this place. I could go on I just want to thank the staff for everything.

If your looking for 5 star and lots to do then this isn't the place for you. If however you want to relax switch off for a week then can't go wrong with this little spot. There was 7 of us that went 3 adults and 4 children under 12. We had two very different rooms one was upstairs and new and ours was older downstairs but had everything we needed. The only time we spent in the room was for sleeping the rest of the day was by the pool where we had a perfect week of sun. There was a small kitchen in our room but we had breakfast made every morning from small hotel bar which opened at 10 every morning. A decent enough selection and something that didn't break the bank in any way. There are two supermarkets less than a 5 minute walk if you want to make for for yourselves. To reach the restaurants of a night time you are a 10-15 minute walk away and plenty to choose from. Roula the owner is a lovely lady and made all of us and every other guest feel welcome. Plus the beer fridge was always well stocked. Only frustrating part was €50 had to pay for air con. But having read previous reviews we knew about this. Also if you haven't booked transfer which I thought was part of the package it cost us €80 in a taxi but only took half an hour and then Roula help organise taxi back slightly cheaper at €65.

Booked for a week at lord complex and we ended up staying other places for a few nights that were closer to corfu town - which has all of the bus links. Agios georgios doesn’t have much going for it so wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for somewhere with plenty of things to do - other than a few nice restaurants/bars which are about 20/30 min walk from the complex and a beach. There are only 4 buses a day into corfu town which takes atleast an hour, the last one back is about 7 so you are quite stuck if you want to be in the town for longer in the evening. This area is definitely more for people looking to just relax - however I would not say the complex itself is relaxing. The noise from the bar area went on until early hours of the morning, the air con as said previously comes at a charge (which isn’t mentioned when you book) it is 7 euros a day if you want it, our room wasn’t clean and the beds were so uncomfortable we woke up sore, we got fresh towels once. The transfer from the airport also took about an hour and a half and did not have air con it was so uncomfortable and not a good start. On arrival to the complex we were kind of just stared at as we tried to work out who actually was in charge, someone came over and walked us to our room. As said above it was not clean, very basic and the shower was tiny it wasn’t a nice experience even using the bathroom at all. There was no info or much of a welcome from the girl who showed us in and pretty much just gave us the key and left. The staff just watch you and don’t really smile or say hello it’s a bit weird and made us feel uneasy - long story short we didn’t enjoy even being there and spent most of our time out of the complex. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else that wants to have an enjoyable stay on holiday. Spend a bit more and choose somewhere else!

Just returned from 12 nights at the Lord Complex hotel in Corfu with our 2 small children. Firstly Roula (the owner) is absolutely lovely, she looked after us so well along with the many customers in her hotel. As previous reviewers have said, she just never stops (and never seems to sleep either!). She did everything we asked for our two children who were both sad to leave this lovely holiday. The pool is nice, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and no fights to reserve them (although people always will). The pool bar is great and we ate there during the day and in the evenings occasionally, and very much enjoyed the Mythos beers. Lots of Roula's family come and help out and it was lovely to meet them all. A few negatives about the hotel. We were in a 2 bed apartment near the pool which was great, the gardens outside our door were immaculate and the children loved looking at the vegetables growing the in the gardens. Both rooms were twin beds with the children taking the back room. The kitchen wasn't really big enough to cook in but we did have breakfast each day and utilised the fridge in the room and the two supermarkets nearby for cereal and milk. Roula made a cracking full english though and would make toast and jam for our children to keep them happy! The beds however were very hard and my back has taken a pounding this week. There is also quite a bad mosquito problem and I was bitten most nights so took to sleeping under the sheets (not the owners problem of course, but do take spray!). The AC you do have to pay extra for but it is worth it, and like previous reviewers they do leak outside and seem to have plastic bottles underneath them, so we were occasionally greeted in the morning by wet towels (which we left outside to dry). The play area is nice but could do with some updating and everything got very hot in the sunshine. I think someone painted the slide to stop it getting so boiling but my poor daughter basically crawled down it after the paint stopped the skidding!. The swings are quaint and there is a seesaw too. The atmosphere at the Lord Complex is great though, Roula will keep the bar open as long as there are people wanting a drink, and there were lots of different cultures in the bar where everyone is extremely friendly, made by the atmosphere from Roula and her team. We enjoyed a few beers, cocktails and glasses of red there most evenings. It is quite a walk from the hotel to the town though, but we used the red train a few times which stops on the main road and was about 13 Euros return. It doesn't seem to run to time though which was quite a challenge a few times. The walk was about 30 mins to the main beach with lots of bars and tavernas on the way. Heading away from the beach there are a few eateries, but definitely lots of empty old restaurants and empty building shells which is a shame. Highly recommend Oceana restaurant, Taverna Kafesas, Kazoos for Karaoke, and many places do nice beer. We also did a day trip t

We have just returned from a holiday in the Lord Complex. Agios Georgios is 15 minute walk from the Lord Complex along a road overlooking the sea. The town area is fairly quiet most of the evenings except for the weekend, when the locals come in. There are many restaurants that did not re-open after Covid. There is minimal entertainment in these bars. We booked a 2 bedroom apt with Loveholidays.ie. When we arrived we were given 2 separate studio apts...luckily our children are teenagers but it was disappointing. The photos on the website are absolutely nothing like the room we stayed in. We believe that some of the rooms have been refurbished but not many. Our room was so bad, we didn't even take a photo as couldn't bare to be reminded of it!!!!!!!. We had various issues during our stay. My husband and I were in Apt 6 - which had 2 single beds, a sink and a fridge less than a foot from one of the beds. Also we had a 2 ring hob at the end of the sink which we did not use. After the initial shock of where we were staying, we mellowed into the holiday. Our daughters air conditioning, in their apt didn't work for the first 2 nights and were given a fan, which only blew boiling hot air around the room. Our room had a broken plug socket, which was dangerous, so we reported it to Roula and a few days later it was fixed. After the 4th night and some other nights after, there was a terrible drainy smell in the room when we returned in the evening. We reported this to Roula and she came and tasted the water and said that it's perfect! Another night we had loads of ants in our bathroom. We reported it the next day and were handed a can of ant spray! The room was cleaned the following day but the dead ants remained brushed against the wall, for the rest of our holiday. Roula is very nice however, if you have an issue, she is not really interested. The pool area is lovely, as is the bar and everyone is really friendly there. I wouldn't stay there again as the room is too old fashioned and comparable to a prison cell! We booked an express transfer with Loveholidays.ie and paid extra, but we ended up on a large bus dropping off at various resorts. So, don't bother to book express transfer as it's probably the same price to get a taxi from the airport and back. On the day we were being collected, the bus was 35 minutes late, which caused us some stress as we had only been given 1 hour to get to the airport for the 2 hour check in. In fairness, we called the emergency number twice within about 20 minutes and got through straight away and they told us how that the bus had been stuck in traffic and how long it would be. We made it to the airport on time. Overall we enjoyed the holiday but would not stay at the Lord Complex ever again.
