The hotel room was spacious with safe and good air con. Nice pool area with incredible views across the harbour and across to the town centre. Excellent breakfast and adequate buffet style evening meal for those on full board. Staff very friendly and helpful - providing bottle opener and sewing kit in hour of need. Excellent location just a few minutes walk from main square. Drinks in hotel bar expensive as expected.

The rooms are very dated and shower cubicle is to small no room to move.the floor is slippery when wet. Also no shower rail for people with mobility issues and a big step to get in to shower. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food in restaurant leaves a lot to be desired it's like school canteen the ice cream you can't get it out off container and when we brought this to the attention of staff they did rectify one tube but not others.If you want tea or coffee in morning you have to wait for 25 minutes as it's a machine. Everyday it had ran out off milk powder. This should be checked before start of service. The final think I take it he is restaurant manager walks about with a tie well when we had a problem he just left it to the young staff. This is bad management

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience in this hotel from start to finish. The receptionist we dealt with was extremely rude and the manager ineffective. The room we were allocated was in a separate building to the hotel which was totally rundown and shabby and obviously had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The shower flooded the bathroom and, at one stage, there was no running water. We requested another room immediately but were told there was no availability but that we would be allocated a room the following day. By noon the following day we were still being told there was no availability so we were then left with no choice but to change accommodation. As we were leaving we were told another room had been found but it was far too late by that stage and the receptionist was still arguing with us as we checked out. Other staff at Reception were perfectly pleasant but we just were unlucky with our lady I guess. Avoid this hotel particularly if you are allocated a room away from the main building.

Marko Polo Maradiso Hotel is in a fantastic location to explore Korcula, the surrounding area is so peaceful and calming. The hotel staff are all very pleasant and willing to make the stay extra special, they cannot do enough for you. The pool area has great views across to Korcula old town. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thankyou and see you soon.

We stayed here as part of a tour and it was an average/good stay. Nothing remarkable but nothing awful either. Rooms were large and appeared clean. Amenities were at a minimum and the shower was high off the ground so you had to climb into it, which may be difficult for some folks. Seemed a bit outdated. Breakfast offerings were fine and service was friendly.

This is a lovely hotel with nice pool and sun loungers. We found the bar staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the lady who put up my umbrella for me. The manager left a welcome note in our room with water and chocolates. She also greeted us at dinner the first night. The breakfasts were nice and always something we liked at dinner. The half board is a very good deal, as eating out in Croatia is expensive. Our room was fine with fantastic view but unfortunately there are no balconies. I think this was the best hotel we stayed in out of the 4 in Croatia.

Front desk very kind and helpful. However carpet in room dirty and occasional bad odor in the room Bed comfortable BUT Furniture and shower need upgrading. Carpet needs to be replaced. Breakfast buffet also lacking in taste and freshness Location excellent
