Having read a few mixed reports we were a little unsure what to expect. The setting is amazing….overlooking the waters, with the church part of the facility. We were lucky enough to witness a wedding whilst we were there. Our objective was just to have a few hours of relaxation having arrived on the water taxi from Korcula, and we were not disappointed. We sat on a sun bed, and had a couple of glasses of the local wine. Service was very friendly, and certainly not intrusive. We had to request additional drinks rather than being pestered which was suited us perfectly.

Vrnik is beautiful, but the food we ordered in the restaurant was overpriced, and the taste was at the level of amateur cooking. The black risotto was tasteless, worst one I've had ( i eat many of them), and the tuna tartare was so salty from the soy sauce that it couldn't be finished because you fell soya only. Disappointing experience on such a lovely island.

Very lovely setting - and that’s where it stops. Limited menu of in my opinion overpriced food. The waiter became very grumpy when we did not order fresh fish which was much more pricey than other lovely restaurants in the area. Black risotto was ok but simply that and c. €30 for what was basic rice dish - Mimbelli over in Orebic does a better one. This was boiling hot out of the microwave. Wines are really expensive here. Come with a big wallet and enjoy the atmosphere but foodies may be disappointed. No coffee after lunch - ‘the coffee machine is broken’ - disappointing.

The fish of the day was beautiful. Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The roasted potatoes were also very good. Lovely setting with shade on a very hot day. However the vegetables accompanying the fish could have been better (more variety and less cooking). This is not a cheap on the beach lunch (shared starter, sea bass and 1 bottle of wine) €200+ but would return if only the owner would spend some of the profits on providing decent toilet facilities

This place is terrible. The staff is extremely rude and food is VERY expensive. The portions are also super small. I payed 18 euro for half a squash and one pita bread. They tried to take my plate before I was finished. Played loud music. Please do not go to this place. It is a tourist trap.

The setting is picturesque. The food was acceptable but nothing special. For those seeking beef, there were steak options on the menu. The fish was local. Cocktail list is creative with many different, unusual options. The local Rose recommended by our waiter was very good.

This review may be for a unique experience. Were riding around in a small boat with a guide when she suggested we walk on Vrnik. We wanted a beer and stopped by this restaurant. Closed, but guide knew owner/chef who said she fix us a simple meal. Wonderful olives, veggies, bread, cheese, etc. Just a plate of whatever, but super. And friendly. And good beer.

We visited on the recommendation of our skipper on a boat charter - and we found the setting charming and the food excellent. We shared a large grilled Red Snapper between 4 and it was one of the tastiest and most perfectly cooked fish we've ever eaten. The blitva and fish ceviche were also excellent. Yes it's not cheap, but the location is beautiful, and the service and food are excellent.

The location is gorgeous but that’s where it ends. Food is awful. We were shown a plate of “the catch of the day” which was clearly not fresh and we wouldn’t touch it. The menu is very limited and we were told it had been a long day so not everything available. We had called ahead as we had three people in our party who are vegetarians they’d said that’s fine but when we were there they just shrugged and said we do meat and fish. It’s 2023! So to have that attitude is ridiculous. The toilets were absolutely filthy too which tells you a lot about the place. Would seriously avoid
