Good places I love it

It was a fantastic trip and it exceeded expectations. We stayed in an over water sunset villa and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The staff are all very friendly and can’t do enough to help. The food and drink are better than the other reviews make out in our opinion, especially if you like varied food and trying new things. We have absolutely loved our stay and hope to return!

My wife and I just got home from our week at the Mercure Kooddoo Resort. The pictures on the website hardly do it justice. Our ocean villa was immaculate, and the housekeeping staff made it perfect every day. The bed art celebrating my 5th wedding anniversary that was there upon arrival was beautiful. Thanks Jilani. The buffet at the Alita restaurant was easily the highest quality buffet I have ever eaten at. The variety was not overwhelming, and each dish tasted excellent. The Vista restaurant was a great experience as well, but you need to plan ahead for dinner and make reservations. Thanks chef Selvakumar, servers Hassan and Louann. If you have any interest in Scuba diving, the water sports staff are extremely knowledgeable. If you aren’t certified, they can teach you the skills you need to dive safely, and then accompany you to view all of the coral and wildlife. Afterwards, they shared all of the GoPro video, so you can relive your experience. Thanks Marty. The bartending staff have a knack for quickly building rapport with guests. They remember your name, room number and what you like to drink in no time. These guys are the definition of “service with a smile.” Thanks Yukthi and Kamal. Punjubu, you also get an honorable mention. When weather took away my chance to use one of my guest experience vouchers, the front desk supervisor helped me out and gave me a different voucher so my wife and I could get a massage. Thanks Ella. Everything is great in this hotel. High level of service and privacy. Quality of rooms is great! Food just perfect and every day new meals. This hotel gave us the best experience about diving - there is PADI dive center at the territory of the hotel and their home reef is spectacular - we swam with turtles and sharks, stingrays and manta rays. Water was crystal clear. At the end of September we not face any rain in the day time - just few short rains at night. Special thanks to our diver instructor Agus. Our vacation in this cozy place overcomes all our expectations.
