Good places I love it

My wife and I just got home from our week at the Mercure Kooddoo Resort. The pictures on the website hardly do it justice. Our ocean villa was immaculate, and the housekeeping staff made it perfect every day. The bed art celebrating my 5th wedding anniversary that was there upon arrival was beautiful. Thanks Jilani. The buffet at the Alita restaurant was easily the highest quality buffet I have ever eaten at. The variety was not overwhelming, and each dish tasted excellent. The Vista restaurant was a great experience as well, but you need to plan ahead for dinner and make reservations. Thanks chef Selvakumar, servers Hassan and Louann. If you have any interest in Scuba diving, the water sports staff are extremely knowledgeable. If you aren’t certified, they can teach you the skills you need to dive safely, and then accompany you to view all of the coral and wildlife. Afterwards, they shared all of the GoPro video, so you can relive your experience. Thanks Marty. The bartending staff have a knack for quickly building rapport with guests. They remember your name, room number and what you like to drink in no time. These guys are the definition of “service with a smile.” Thanks Yukthi and Kamal. Punjubu, you also get an honorable mention. When weather took away my chance to use one of my guest experience vouchers, the front desk supervisor helped me out and gave me a different voucher so my wife and I could get a massage. Thanks Ella. Our stay at Kooddoo Resort in the Maldives was an unforgettable experience, especially in the stunning Beach Villa. From the moment we arrived, the seamless hospitality and serene atmosphere made us feel like we had stepped into paradise. The Villa was a spacious, beautifully designed sanctuary nestled in lush greenery with direct beach access. The villa offered the ultimate in privacy, with a serene outdoor deck and a private access to the powdery white sand beach. The beach itself was immaculate, with powdery soft sand and crystal-clear waters that were perfect for swimming or simply lounging. Snorkeling right off the shore allowed us to see vibrant coral and an array of marine life, which was an incredible highlight. The activities offered at Kooddoo were equally impressive. Snorkeling among colorful coral reefs, taking a dolphin cruise, paddle boarding and more, plus indulging in spa treatments all enhanced our stay. Dining at the resort was a delight. The variety and quality of food were outstanding, with fresh and flavorful options to suit every preference. Enjoying breakfast with a view of the ocean was a wonderful way to start each day, and the themed dinners added an element of excitement to the evenings. The staff at Kooddoo truly went above and beyond, always ensuring our needs were met with a smile. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth made our stay even more special. For those seeking a balance of relaxation and adventure, Kooddoo Resort is the perfect choice. Our Beach Villa stay offered the ultimate in comfort and natural beauty, and we’re already dreaming of our return to this slice of paradise.

Getting here from Seattle was quite a journey, even with an overnight layover in Singapore, so be prepared for the long travel time. However, the Maldives is truly magical, and the overwater villa made it absolutely unforgettable! It's a snorkeling paradise! The overwater villa offers everything you need for an unforgettable experience. We spent hours on our deck, watching stingrays, baby sharks, and countless other fish swim right beneath us!
