The room was ok, the breakfast was good, and the coffee choices were great and delicious. There are no ironing facilities in the room, which is a bit inconsistent with five stars. It should be noted that this hotel charges a city tax, but it is not included in the room rate booked by Ctrip. I was overcharged by 10 euros, only to find out later that it was the tax. Most other cities in Turkey do not have this tax.

I stayed 2 nights, in a clean big room. Spacious bathroom, huge double bed, and it was quiet. Is was asked for a smoking or non-smoking room. I choose non-smoking room, but it was clearly that the room smelled plenty of smoke. Had to sleep with open window. Breakfast was not the best experience. Had dinner at the hotel, it was good. Overall it was ok, but don’t understand the 5star on booking.com.

Breakfast is ok, quite rich. An extra bed is possible, and the hotel facilities are up to standard four-star hotel decoration. The only thing is that the hotel building has a triangular shape, and the large bed room at the end of the corridor is very small and uncomfortable. If you register at the store, you must specify that you don’t want the room at the end of the corridor. We are also unfamiliar with the place of life. We were confused when we took the room card, and we were filled with the room when we communicated and exchanged. This is not very satisfying. Other swimming pool sauna massage services are ok

Great hotel in a brilliant location. Has dedicated parking. Brilliant service and a great lobby to relax in, with a little prayer room. Rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained, with a mini fridge and kettle available. Also has a lounge on top floor which is great to relax in and order snacks or food. The WiFi is free but the speed is not the fastest, although does the job. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Overall, had a great stay and would stay again if visited Konya in future.

We travelled from Alanya to Konya & we were welcomed & all the staff were helpful & friendly. Even thought the room & bathroom are small it was very comfortable & exceptionally clean. We slept very well despite the mosques so close. The breakfast had everything you want & a lot of choice. I would highly recommend this hotel it's near to all the sights. The people in Konya were very friendly we loved our overnight stay. The Mevlana Show is on Saturday evening at 7pm - it was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at this quirky hotel 🥰

Address - Selçuklu, Konya Ambiance/Facilities - the ambience is very calm, near the tramvay station, not too crowded. taxi is available as well, just ask the receptionist if you need it and they will call it for you Highlights - the hotel is clean, the room is very spacious complete with an office, 2 TVs, the bed is round and unique. However you may need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they only provided shower gel in the bathroom. The breakfast is okay, typical turkish breakfast with bread, veggies, loads of cheese options, tea and coffee. Avg. Price per Person - 70€ per night Rating - 9.5/10 Absolutely recommended!!

The Hich Hotel Konya is a 4-star hotel in a 19th-century building. It's located next to the Mevlâna Museum, the mausoleum of Sufi poet Rumi, and a 4-minute walk from the Selimiye Mosque. The hotel has a garden, terrace, and cozy cafe that serves free breakfast (not buffet, but a large varied tray with too much food to comfortably finish). The rooms are traditionally decorated with handmade rugs, original artwork, and desks (their description) – actually the furniture looked like random pieces of 1960’s designs picked up at thrift shops, but functional, all the same. Some rooms have museum views. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible and the rooms and reception lobby are upstairs (and there is no elevator). I really wanted to love this hotel, but our room was spartan with old furniture, the shower was not all that well cleaned, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, the bed was not uncomfortable, but pretty hard and the TV had only one station in English which had 24-hour evangelist preachers. To the hotel ‘s credit, the staff was always polite (just occasionally missing), our room seemed freshly painted, the woodwork newly varnished and the TV (pragmatically useless as it was to us) was a modern flat-screen unit. The white-painted iron bed frame looks brand-new. Like the rest of the hotel and restaurant, there are copious libraries of current and classic books – but all are in Turkish. The 6AM morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque seemed to be a duet lamentation with one singer’s amplifier on extreme reverb. Maybe its just a style, maybe it’s a Suffi thing – when I asked, I was told that it’s not unusual and sometimes there are three voices. The front desk of the hotel was frequently vacant and requests for service went sometimes unheeded until asked a second time. The food, both breakfast and dinner, in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced but, again, the service was nearly non-existent.

I very much enjoyed my three-night stay at the stylish and colourful Hotel Think, which is located very close to the Mevlana Museum, the main sight in the city. The double bed in my room was most comfortable and the sound-proofing of the room was fine, which was just as well, as the road outside is a busy one. I liked the walk-in shower in the en suite bathroom, where hot water was available at all times. I had breakfast at the hotel every morning and also ate at the ground floor Safran Restaurant and at the fifth floor café. The quality of food served is very good: definitely above par for a hotel restaurant. I really liked the buffet breakfast, with plenty of fresh fruit available. It takes around ten minutes to walk from the hotel to the Alaaddin Park in the city centre. Just one suggestion. There was not enough storage space in the room. Either shelves or a chest of drawers could easily be installed under the table fitted to the wall, as there is plenty of space available there.

I stayed at the hostel for one night, the room was good for only three people. I arrived at the hostel in very late night and I was positively surprised by friendly attitude of the receptionist even though it was after midnight it was no problem to check in. Only downside was the toilet and the shower. Toilet very dirty and shower was flooded so I just washed myself in the sink because the shower area was pretty much unacceptable. Everything else was good. If shower and toilet will improve, I would recommend it

The staff who managed our check in showed us where to park since the hotel did not have private parking and i am very thankful for that. The Hich Hotel Konya is a 4-star hotel in a 19th-century building. It's located next to the Mevlâna Museum, the mausoleum of Sufi poet Rumi, and a 4-minute walk from the Selimiye Mosque. The hotel has a garden, terrace, and cozy cafe that serves free breakfast (not buffet, but a large varied tray with too much food to comfortably finish). The rooms are traditionally decorated with handmade rugs, original artwork, and desks (their description) – actually the furniture looked like random pieces of 1960’s designs picked up at thrift shops, but functional, all the same. Some rooms have museum views. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible and the rooms and reception lobby are upstairs (and there is no elevator). I really wanted to love this hotel, but our room was spartan with old furniture, the shower was not all that well cleaned, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, the bed was not uncomfortable, but pretty hard and the TV had only one station in English which had 24-hour evangelist preachers. To the hotel ‘s credit, the staff was always polite (just occasionally missing), our room seemed freshly painted, the woodwork newly varnished and the TV (pragmatically useless as it was to us) was a modern flat-screen unit. The white-painted iron bed frame looks brand-new. Like the rest of the hotel and restaurant, there are copious libraries of current and classic books – but all are in Turkish. The 6AM morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque seemed to be a duet lamentation with one singer’s amplifier on extreme reverb. Maybe its just a style, maybe it’s a Suffi thing – when I asked, I was told that it’s not unusual and sometimes there are three voices. The front desk of the hotel was frequently vacant and requests for service went sometimes unheeded until asked a second time. The food, both breakfast and dinner, in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced but, again, the service was nearly non-existent.

We travelled from Alanya to Konya & we were welcomed & all the staff were helpful & friendly. Even thought the room & bathroom are small it was very comfortable & exceptionally clean. We slept very well despite the mosques so close. The breakfast had everything you want & a lot of choice. I would highly recommend this hotel it's near to all the sights. The people in Konya were very friendly we loved our overnight stay. The Mevlana Show is on Saturday evening at 7pm - it was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at this quirky hotel 🥰

Address - Selçuklu, Konya Ambiance/Facilities - the ambience is very calm, near the tramvay station, not too crowded. taxi is available as well, just ask the receptionist if you need it and they will call it for you Highlights - the hotel is clean, the room is very spacious complete with an office, 2 TVs, the bed is round and unique. However you may need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they only provided shower gel in the bathroom.
