Location and service top; really very good. Food only average and poor value for money. Actually it was disappointing and this is the second time. I therefore recommend the location for an aperitif; nothing more.

Far too expensive and the receptionist unfriendly. I was travelling on business and booked a single room for CHF 230 including breakfast. The room was small and had absolutely no charm. The shower was plastic and small. I can book this type of room at any 3* hotel for half the price. The breakfast buffet doesn't open until 7:00 a.m. That's late for business travellers. What is definitely annoying, however, is when the door doesn't open until 7:05 a.m. and the coffee machine isn't working yet. The selection at the buffet was very modest for this price. No soy products or milk substitutes. Fruit, apples and strawberries. Not a big selection. Check-out wasn't ready at 7:00 a.m. either. The system had to be booted up first. But the employee was already equipped with coffee. Fortunately, dinner was amazing. (It's not included in the price either.) Very good food and special selection. Really absolutely brilliant. I also have to praise the service in particular. Professional and incredibly friendly. I would come back for dinner straight away.

Our old voucher from 2011 was no longer accepted by Hünigen Castle on the grounds that it had expired for 10 years and had changed hands. According to the law, a voucher cannot expire. A company is taken over with all existing claims and debts. No goodwill despite speaking to the director.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel, Sauberkeit des Zimmers und vor allem das Bad, top! Auch unser Hund war Willkommen, inkl. Näpfen auf dem Zimmer und auch zum Frühstück durfte er mit (was häufig ja nicht der Fall ist). Nicht unerwähnt möchten wir die Matratzen und Kopfkissen lassen, super Qualität. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Die Tochter meiner Freundin hat mit ihrem Freund/Mann auf Schloss Hüningen die Hochzeit gefeiert. Auffinden vom Hotel: Über die eine Zufahrt gibts eine Weggabelung ohne Schild, Google Maps geradeaus, gab es nicht. Zusatzrund von 10min gefahren. Bitte ein Schild. Apero draussen: Apero ganz gut, etwas wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten und viel zuwenig trockene Plätze als es beginnt zu Regnen. Zimmer i.O; Wir buchten eine Suite, geräumig schön, grosse Badewanne. Feier Abend: Danke für die tolle Unterstützung für die Beamer-Benutzung. Saal sehr schön. Essen war Buffet, für mich was neues an Hochzeit. Ich denke das Buffet hätte noch etwas Potential/Luft nach oben. Das Roastbeef war gut. Service Top. Bar zum Ausfeiern: In Ordnung. Morgenessen: War auch sehr gut, wir waren grosse Gesellschaft, somit alles frisch. Hatte auch noch etwas zum Mittagessen und wir konnten noch lange sitzen bleiben. Service Top. Rezeption: Kurze Zimmerverlängerung freundlich akzeptiert. Auch bekamen wir noch Batch für Wellness danach. Sehr freundlich. Wellness: Ja es geht so. Die Anlage hatte anfangs so ein komischer Geruch, zuwenig in Betrieb. Dieser Bereich braucht mehr Pflege, wird aber kostenintensiv sein, zuwenig benutzt. Als ich hörte von Leuten aus der Umgebung was Einzeleintritte kosten, stimmt da Preis/Leistung nicht so. Fazit: Alles in allem es war schön, aber nun auch nicht gleich hervorstechend. Ich weiss nicht was die Hochzeit dort kostete. Den Zimmerpreis kenne ich, war iO. Mehr Unterstände Apero, Sitzmöglichkeiten, die Buffet-küche hat noch Luft nach oben, Wellness auch. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich.

Der majestätische Park allein ist schon eine Reise dorthin wert. Das Zimmer und Bad sind angenehm und sauber. Das Personal ist durchwegs freundlich und kompetent,wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war eine wahre Gaumenfreude. Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung.
