The room is basically clean but very small, nothing is in it, the photos make it look quite big. The floor of the room is not clean, the corridor is simple, like a business apartment, without any decoration or hotel atmosphere, the door and wall of the corridor are very dirty. The surrounding environment is surrounded by green trees and the air is good. The breakfast is OK, but it is not a four-star hotel.

Arrived late afternoon in sweltering heat, looking forward to a cool shower and a fresh bed. Unfortunately, we were given room 106 located in an outbuilding 5 minutes walk from the main building. First impressions were not good as we passed a large dirty laundry cage situated at the beginning of a very badly marked/scuffed corridor towards a door which looked like an entrance to a cellar, badly in need of paint. My husband opened the door and pushed me backwards as the heat was unbearable. Outside was approximately 25 degrees but inside was at least 40 degrees with the window open. The room was very small, comparable with a budget hostel. The bathroom was tiny but clean. No facilities for tea/coffee, no comfy seating area, no cosmetic articles… We went back to the reception and as I explained about the heat in the room and the fact that we could not enter the room to use it. The receptionist answered sarcastically that I should open the window!!! This unleashed the beast in me as I wanted a normal hotel room that I could use. Eventually, we were given a standard double room which was basic but comfortable . There was no possibility to order food other than call for external pizza or select from turkey breast or fish which was lukewarm on the buffet style restaurant, no chips or potatoes, the only „warm „ option was rice. Fruit and vegetables available. Understandably, we could not take the dog to the restaurant however, we could take food from the buffet to the bar. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. We paid extra for our tiny dog and were offered substandard accommodation. I want to relax on holiday, I don’t want to quarrel with a receptionist to get what I paid for. Please note that this is not 4 stars according to the international classification.

A peaceful place, cleaned rooms and one of best breakfast you may experience. I had a minor issue and they promptly react to resolve the problem. No problem for parking (free). If we want to find something to improve is a wider menu for dinner.

I was yesterday at Jufa Hotel in Königswinter with my girlfriend we was there at 15:30 and we had to wait for our room until 16 normaly but they said it’s not ready yet and we had to wait until 16:30 and the receptionist was so unfriendly. I booked the room with a balcony extra because we was both smokers and we wanted that, after we got the keys on went to the room and there was 3 single beds and without a balcony so i had to go back to the receptionist and tell her what i booked and she said oh yeah i know that but the room you booked is smelling bad and because of that i gave you the keys of the other room that is really bad for a hotel with 4 stars because she could tell me the problem before giving me the keys so i said can we have the keys of the room that i booked for and just check if it’s smelling that bad and she gave me i went there and it was really smelling bad,and i found out why is smelling like that it was because of the blankets one of them wasn’t changed so i took it in the balcony and i went to the receptionist to tell her why is the smelling she said oh okay i’ll give you another blanket in 2 minutes at your room so that blanket never came and i had to sleep with my clothes on because we had no blankets. Out of that a 4 stars hotel without a telephone inside the room to contact receptionist i don’t think i ever was on one,and of course without some water or something to welcome us paid 125 euro for one night i guess that’s too much to not respect the clients. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel, great breakfast, full board but also vegetarian or free alternatives! Great room with walk-in shower, room service and a lovely balcony with a view of the Rhine (superior double room). Good and sufficient parking around the hotel. The staff was also very nice. We had a pleasant stay and would happily come back.

The hotel is showing its age and, in my opinion, is being run on a low flame. Very small rooms that are not heated when you arrive. In my room there was no heating in the bathroom, so it was still cold the next morning. The rooms are very spartanly furnished; even youth hostels are better and more comfortable these days. The walls are in dire need of a coat of paint. Positive: The room and bathroom were clean.
