"Just spent one night before my Komodo boat trip. Basic hotel with basic facilities. But since the hotel is located on top of the hill, the sunset view from room was unexpectedly gorgeous;)"

"We come from a terrible experience at the previous hotel. And the truth is that we were super comfortable here. We had a problem in the room with hot water on the second night. Seeing that the breakdown was serious and there was no quick fix. And they gave us the option to shower in another location where such a service was available. The pool is very good, and the staff is super friendly and they try to help you with everything we ask of them. The location is a little far from the port area, which is where the city life is. But in favor is that it gives a lot of calm and tranquility. I recommend it without a doubt if you take a motorcycle or transport. By the way, we had a motorcycle that they arranged for us within 30 minutes of our arrival at the hotel at the same price as what was available later in the city."
"surprisingly comfortable for the price we paid. staff are friendly and very accomodoting. also plus plus points for the management for allowing early check in when possible!"
"The room is clean and neat with balcony. Very nice seaview from the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful from the receptions, cleaners, technicians, restaurant staff and drivers. Despite the hotel is under going some major renovation, it didn't make too much noise during the stays. Breakfast selection was not many, but it is adequate to fulfill hungers. Location-wise, opposite there is Fellas Pizza, to the left there is Ibu Asni within 5 minutes walk. Nearby there is a small convenient shop too. Walking to the town is possible, around 10-15 minutes. Overall stay is satisfactory."
"Avoid This Hotel — Disappointing Stay from Start to Finish.
We made the mistake of booking a room without a window — it was incredibly cramped, with barely enough space for one person to walk down the hallway. The bed was wedged against the wall, making it impossible to access from both sides. Even worse, despite clearly booking for two people, we were only provided with one set of amenities. When we raised the issue at reception, we were told we needed to “request” amenities at check-in — a baffling response, considering the booking clearly stated two guests.
For the second and third nights, we upgraded to a room *with* a window — but don't expect a view. Ours looked directly into a concrete wall and, to make matters worse, had a giant water tank right outside. I requested a room change, but the staff flat-out refused.
Service throughout our stay was consistently poor. The restaurant was slow due to being staffed mostly by trainees. At checkout, we were asked to wait while they inspected the room — something I wouldn’t mind if it was brief, but the delay was frustrating, especially with our airport transfer waiting.
Speaking of transport, we used the hotel’s car service, but payments were handled in a very unprofessional way — no receipts were given, and we were told to pay either the driver or a random staff member at reception. It all felt shady and disorganized.
Sorry, but not sorry — this hotel was a disappointment in every way."

Very Good
BBudi Hao LinI recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was spacious and clean. The view from the window overlooking the beach or harbour is blocked by other building. However, you can patronise the rooftop bar to have unblocked view to the beach or harbour. It’s particularly good to view the sunset.
The in-room amenities were adequate, but I found it is lack of toiletries such as toothbrush, comb, shaver. Overall, while the location and room size were positive aspects, there were some areas where the hotel could improve.
AAnonymous UserWe booked 2 nights, the rate on promotion is quite competitive. Spacious room with balcony. Breakfast is good, just be careful of the birds, they come to eat your food when you are away. The restaurant serves good meals, we had our both dinners at the restaurant. Price is okay too. The location of the resort is a bit far to city center. Hotel can arrange hotel taxi but pricy. Or if you have local hire contact they can help you to call. There are free daily activities in the hotel like yoga, boreh making, etc. Nice to participate. They also have day trip to 3-4 places including Komodo island but price is at high end. They have hourly schedule free transportation to airport, which is 12 mins drive.
CChan_yWe stayed for one night after our sailing trip, and it was truly unforgettable! The hotel is set in a beautiful environment with breathtaking sea views all around. We booked a sea view room, and waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was absolutely magical.
Even though our stay was short, the hotel team made it so special — they surprised me with a lovely birthday celebration, complete with bed decorations, mirror drawings and messages, a birthday cake, and a heartfelt birthday song. A huge thank you to Edy, Eras, and Erica for making it so memorable!
The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices to start the day right. The hotel also provides an airport shuttle service, and its location is perfect — just a short walk to cafes and restaurants.
We also loved the infinity pool that overlooks the sea — it was the perfect spot to relax. I treated myself to an hour-long massage at the spa, and it was pure bliss. The spa room had its own shower and also opened up to stunning sea views, making the experience even more relaxing.
Although it was just one night, the warmth, hospitality, and beauty of this hotel left a lasting impression. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
PPloypailin M.The hotel is not that far from the airport. It should take around 15 mins from the airport by taxi. There is a driver from the hotel who can pick you up at the airport, just call or text the hotel via WhatsApp. If you stay in the over ocean villa, the same driver will drive you between your room and the main building. Ivan is one of the driver there. He's the best. While you stay there, the hotel will assign one of the staff to assist you via WhatsApp. Ours is Agnes. You can text to the staff if you need anything such as call a buggy to pick you up and they reply like asap. The hotel itself is very beautiful with Japanese style interior design. The restaurant there is really good too. Located on the 2nd floor with stunning ocean view. Packed with various kind of dishes. All of the staffs there are very friendly and ready to help you to make sure you have the best experience there. Beby is one of the restaurant team. She is very cheerful, ready to serve you with huge smile on her face. We didn't try other facilities of the hotel but everything is there. Almost forget to mention about activities there. You can do kayaking and snorkeling in the ocean around the hotel which is a must. They also can provide you a selection of trip to explore Komodo islands. Full day or half day for you to join. We did a half day trip there visiting Kelor island, Kalong island and Manjarite island which was really worth it.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers a range of services (hotel transfer, via speedboat, snorkeling in their exclusive coral reef, etc. ) and the staff is very welcoming, making travelers feel special guests.
The island is perfect for relaxation, allowing guests to connect with other guests if they want, as the number of rooms/bungalows is limited. The beach and coral reef are immaculate and very safe from dangerous currents allowing close approach with colorful fish, sea turtles and other tropical marine creatures.
Facilities are well maintained and the limited wifi (mostly accessible from the restaurant area) means that you can stay isolated from the external world and connect to it only when you want to.
Price is very reasonable for the excellence of the service provided. Ideal for couples or single travellers looking for tranquility.
GGuest UserWe stayed in one of the 3 cute little cottages (room B3) with a little terrace overlooking the small garden.
The room is spacious enough with a little working/desk area.
A/C works okay, even though the small windows above the bay window aren't fully closing (see pictures)
The bathroom is quite big however the hot water can run out at night and the pressure is poor.
Overall , the room looks slightly old and the mattress is not very comfortable.
Staff is super helpful and friendly (scooter rental and day trip booking available on-site) and once you climb to the restaurant at the top floor, you will be rewarded with a nice view of Labuan Bajo.
Breakfast is decent, at least one new dish everyday.
AAMEERULEverything is good but
1. The room is too small. Suite only for a couple & can't extra bed because of the space.
2. One of the room (no. 3), the sliding door can't close properly. The hook almost pull out from frame.
3. Not suitable for elderly except the rooms at level ground that can enter from backlane.
GGuest UserOverall a nice place to stay. Comfy beds and linen with clean rooms. Quiet bay nice beach front a bit out of town. Staff and service was very good.
Negatives / Improvements:
Rooms:
No bedside lamp or power points near bed. I had to ask for an extension lead and this was only 1.5m long and had to be laid across the floor.
When using the balcony to relax you need to prop the door from closing or get locked out and removing E-Key the power goes off almost instantly. Cannot turn off interior lights from the bedside and cannot turn off the outside light at all.
Hot water is not hot.
Restaurant: Large selection of indonesian style food for breakfast but no eggs unless you ask. Cereal, fruit and danish pastries are average.
No barista style coffee. Tiny cups.
GGuest UserVery cute hotel far away from the hussel and bussel of everything.
While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)
