THE BEST RESORT EVER, specially for divers, but not only for divers. This resort is one of the best organized resorts I ever met.....and I saw hundreds of then around the world. Let me give a few examples: 1.We were here now for 5 days - 2 couples - that have seen the entire world during our world circumnavigations. Our wives want to snorkel on the reef directly in front of the resort. They wanted to step in the water, when the owner who was sitting and talking with us on the seaside bar saw it and organized spontaneously a staff member, to bring them with a tender boat to the best spot on the HOUSE REEF and to stay with the boat in the water to be available for any help needed, due to the currants in the water. 2. We were welcomed as if we were meeting our best friends after years again by the whole staff, the front desk manager Herry and also by the owners. 3.the food is really excellent and the staff incredibly well trained, we felt really at home, because everybody was really 100% dedicated to give us the best holiday experience possible. After 4 days in the resort, the owner came around to our dinner table and offered us some drinks and suggested to organize for us exclusively fresh grouper and lobster from the daily fishermen's market ( 8 miles away ) - - - this was not a 4-Star-Service , this is almost Burj-al-Arab level....... 4. We had a fantastic dive tour with all you want to see: White tip reef shark, turtles, moray eel, fantastic coral gardens and to top everything:flying mantas in the currants of manta point dive ground. 5. Of corse you can also go from here to the Komodo islands to see the famous Komodo Dragons .......or just relax on the cosy sand beach in front of the resort. To say it in short words: THIS RESORT IS REALLY WORTH COMING TO INDONESIA !!!!!! Thanks to you all of the staff and the owners....as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say: I´LL BE BACK !!!!!

The trip was absolutely unforgettable! We spent seven incredible days aboard the boat, diving into crystal-clear waters, hiking to breathtaking viewpoints, and enjoying the wonders of the islands in Indonesia... 1. Diving and cruise design Jello, the Cruise Director, was the heart and soul of the trip. His enthusiasm, knowledge of the area, and attention to detail made the whole experience feel seamless. He was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure everyone enjoyed the trip. By the way, the diving was spectacular! The waters around Komodo are teeming with vibrant coral reefs, colorful fish, and also manta ray or reef shark. The dive instructors were professional and patient, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, whether you were a beginner or experienced diver. Jello is my dive guide. He is always patient and considerate, protecting us from the strong current under water. Each dive felt like stepping into an underwater wonderland. I really enjoyed it. 2. Food The food onboard was nice! Every meal was freshly prepared, with a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. The chefs did an excellent job of keeping things interesting and delicious. 3. Cabins The cabins were cozy and comfortable, and the rooms were kept clean throughout our stay. We had plenty of space to relax and unwind, with windows offering scenic views of the sea and surrounding islands. 4. Crew The crew was incredibly friendly and professional. Bonne, Max ...everyone was attentive and went out of their way to make the trip enjoyable. They were always ready to lend a hand and made sure everything ran smoothly, from dive preparations to meals. Everything about the trip was perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the magic of Komodo!

A paradise for people who love snorkeling and great food. The resort is small so it's a 3 min walk to the pier for snorkeling or to the restaurant. The Good - staff was incredible - easy pickup at the airport and boat transfer (45 min), everyone is genuinely friendly, from the cleaning staff to the wait staff. The owners often come talk to you, and they even gave us free homemade food. - room was super comfortable - the two extra beds for the kids were very comfortable, not foldout beds - the house reef is snorkel only (no diving), and is wonderful. There is often a strong current, which works out great cause the staff drop you off about 100 meters away and you float back to the pier. This drift snorkeling is an incredible experience. - the food is not buffet style but is better than any buffet, everything we tried from Indonesia food to pizza and burgers was delicious. Prices were not resort-priced, typically USD$5 for a meal! - the resort's full day boat trip was very nice - we saw huge mantas while snorkeling, komodo dragons, and the lunch was quite good. The hike up Padar Island was tough! The Not so good - Rainy season (very late Jan) - we saw no rain in daytime, but overnight storms meant a lot of wood debris in the waters above the reef, also trash on the reef. We picked up pieces of plastic trash on every snorkel outing. This is really only an issue in rainy season. Water visibility was great however (see pics). The upside to rainy season is few tourists. At the Manta Point there were only 6 small boats. During high season they said you'll see 100 boats! - getting here is difficult (local flight to LBJ), but the resort is very accommodating with the boat transfers so just ask them.

Positives - I cannot speak highly enough of the dive team. Our dive instructor, the dive centre manager and all of the crew were absolutely wonderful. We completed our advanced diving certificate during our stay and couldn't have asked for a better instructor. 5+ stars for the dive team. The diving itself was out of this world, and we were lucky enough to see many turtles, rays, sharks and more species of beautiful fish and coral than you can imagine, including a file snake near the mangroves! We were out of season, but also saw manta rays on the journey back to the resort from Komodo National Park. The house reef is spectacular, one of the best snorkelling sites I have ever visited, and it was mere meters away from your beach chalet. Again, we saw turtles, sharks, rays and plenty of fish. Sadly I corrupted the memory card of my GoPro, so don't have any footage of the underwater life. For anyone taking a trip to Komodo to see the dragons, I cannot recommend enough staying here, or going on a liveaboard trip. I don't think you would have the same experience if staying in Labuan Bajo. For me, the highlight was not seeing the dragons, but staying in/around the national park. Each night, the sunsets were by far the most beautiful I have ever seen, and the ability to snorkel an incredible site whenever you wanted was a dream. From our chalet, a beautiful kingfisher would land every day in the tree and catch its dinner. The chalets themselves were lovely, not super luxury, but very nice and perfectly clean. You can't ask for much more in such a remote location. The proximity from your bed to beach/reef was exceptional. There's also a trail up the hill behind the resort, which I would recommend at sunset. Negatives - I only have one negative, but unfortunately it's a big one. My boyfriend got the worst food poisoning of his life from this resort, which left him ill for almost an entire month and requiring antibiotics for a number of weeks when back in the UK. Sadly, the 32 hour journey back to London was not a fun one. On the morning we left, the restaurant staff (who were wonderful) came over to tell me that the meal I had eaten the night before had given another two guests food poisoning. By some miracle, I did not like the look of the chicken kebabs and hadn't eaten them, otherwise I would also have been very ill on the journey home. You are miles away from anywhere to access medicine, so make sure you bring everything you might need with you. There's a pharmacy near the resort shop, so stock up as we ran out early on! Sadly it also impacted how much my partner could enjoy the diving, snorkelling and resort, and I spent the last days enjoying it mostly alone. That being said, I would absolutely return for the diving, staff and location. Perhaps I would just be vegetarian next time... Given a number of people became ill during the week we stayed here, I think they need to double check the standards in the kitchen. Although I haven't seen oth

We stayed here for three days in January 2025. We were blown away by every aspect of this resort, it was a wonderful escape for us. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming. The manager, Heri, checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied and to make recommendations during our stay. Sara led on excellent scuba diving experiences and Walter took us on an amazing expedition to see Komodo Dragons and breathtaking snorkel diving with Manta rays. We wished we had stayed here longer. Out of all the places we stayed throughout our trip on Indonesia, this was the best, hands down. We will return.

Went to Komodo resort around Christmas 2024 for 6 nights. Overall my experience was amazing. Advanced open water diver with 100+ dives. The house reef is amazing- very hard to find a house reef with 4-5 Napoleons swimming next to you all the time and some 50+ Clown fish families. Absolutely loved it and snorkeled each day. The people of the resort are super friendly, always accomodating and happy. I have to mention that i was very impressed that we got some money returned due to a problem with the water for a few hours- i have stayed in great resorts and rarely seen a resort reimbursing for such an issue so many congratulations on their professionalism. The scuba diving in the Komodo national park was very beautiful. One day that i was the only diver i asked if we could dive batu bolong and they happily granted my wish :). Food quality was great- i was eating fish every day and my beloved sticky rice as desert and fresh fruits. The restaurant team are so polite and great people i dont have enough words to thank them. Chose to do private tour to the Komodo Park and Padar Island which was a good move as we left early in the morning before the many boats from Labuan Bajo arrive at Padar island. I will be back for sure.

This resort is located on a nice small island just 30 min by speedboat from Labuan Bajo. It is almost in the National Park and close to the diving sites and sites of interest. It is not crowded place but peaceful one. It is situated on a nice sandy beach with crystal clear waters. My room was in a beach bungalow. It was clean, air-conditioned, served twice a day. Bathroom was clean with body soap and hair shampoo friendly for the environment. It also had a mini bar. The stuff is very attentive and kind. The restoran offers a good selection of variety foods for many tastes. Food was fresh, tasty and nicely designed. There is a solid selection of wines. One has to be aware it is not easy logistically to supply the restaurant with food and drinks but it covered very solid selection. The WIFI setvice was very good. Within the resort there is a dive shop Neptun that organized daily dives to nearby dives sites. Well organized and attentive to divers and taking care of diving equipment for you. The resort also offers excursions to Komodo National Park and Rinca to see the dragons and flying foxes ( bats). Overall it was a very nice place for a vacation for people who appreciate peaceful places, privacy, scuba-diving, snorkling, kayaking but also require kind individualized approach. A very good value for the money. At the end the resort manager and the dive site manager Sara greeted me personally which was a nice gesture.

Lovely 3 night stay at the island. Staff were great; helpful, friendly but not intrusive. Food was fresh, tasty with a good variety. Beautiful views with a relaxed vibe. Villa was well maintained, spacious enough and authentically decorated. Nice bathroom with good shower, toiletries, towels, etc. As the island is near reef, the sand was a little rough to walk on but the loungers were very comfortable and private. There were a couple of “private island problems” ie one of the bar staff was off sick so for 2 of the 3 nights the only drink served was beer or wine at the bar. We didn’t dive but overheard a lot of great experiences from others who had. Breakfast and dinner were sociable and buzzy but otherwise very quiet and relaxed. Just over an hour from the airport between the car and boat.

We LOVED our time at Komodo Resort. We stayed in a spacious and beautiful Grand View room, which I highly recommend (or the Grand Beach). Food is served a la cart and was delicious. Chef Nyoman and server Yanto took very good care of me, as I have a shellfish allergy and all of my meals were specially prepared. Both of them were excellent and part of the reason this resort was so special. We are snorkelers and could not have asked for more with the house reef. It was incredible with healthy and beautiful coral and fish. We arranged a private day trip to Komodo to see the dragons, Padar for the viewpoint and pink beach, and then a wonderful snorkeling spot. The nightly stunning sunsets made for a great happy hour show. It was really hard to leave this fabulous place, and I am so grateful we could spend time here.
