服務生自己英文不好，又不願意用簡單一點的日文說明，我們聽不懂她居然說“oh my god”，是以為我們聽不懂嗎？？！非常生氣，爛服務！！後來經理出面用簡單的日文解釋我們就懂了。員工訓練有待加強，非常爛的服務

I expected the traditional Ryoken to be dated in a historical way, however I was disappointed when it seemed dated in a 1970’s way. The room itself was very large and styled with usual Ryoken decor, yet the floors had stain marks, walls had dirty splash marks and the bathroom had 1970’s styling. I was expecting a more traditional feel to the room. The center garden was devine and the staff were friendly. Breakfast provided was delicious and offered a good selection. Glad I stayed at the property although I wouldn’t travel back there.

Our experience was lovely! We stayed two nights. The staff was so accomodating--it was our first experience at a traditional ryokan, and the staff was very helpful in explaining various customs. They made us feel very at home. The free shuttle to and from the station was very convenient and easy to reserve. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and pleasant as well, with matcha and sweets provided at check-in as an opportunity to rest and look out on the garden. Our room was gorgeous, with a stunning view of the mountains, and sleeping on the tatami was extremely comfortable. We reserved the private onsen both nights of our stay (for a small fee) and that was also a simple and convenient process. Finally, breakfast was amazing--all of the numerous dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared.
Overall, it was a truly magical experience staying at Houshi Ryokan. We left this morning and already want to go back! ありがとうございました!

念願の法師に宿泊しました。今では最古の旅館とは言われなくなりましたが、1300年の歴史には変わりません。建物の一部も有形文化財だし。当たり前だが建物は老朽化していますが気にはなりません。自慢の中庭が見える抹茶サービス等がありました。リーズナブルなコースですが部屋食です。量的にも充分で問題なくゆっくり出来ました。

部屋の畳床面に汚れが付いていたのが２日間の滞在中ずっと気になっていた。液体をこぼした線状痕が２本（幅3ｃｍ長さ40ｃｍ）とその傍に歯磨き汁を垂らしたようなしみ跡もあった。主室床にもその跡らしきがあった。このままチェックアウトすると疑いを持たれそうだから宿側に確認してもらうのがよいだろうと宿の人に診てもらった。 「汚れやシミ跡は私が付けたものではありませんよ。光の関係で判りにくいかもしれませんが、ほら逆光だとくっきり見えますよね。お客が帰った後に宿側は部屋を確認しているはずですから、汚れを発見したら最も早い時点でなぜ除去しなかったのですか。容易に取り除けるのに時間が経過すると簡単には取れなくなります、この後に部屋を使用するお客の気持ちを考えたことありますか。和風調の部屋自体が立派なだけに汚れを残すのは合わないよ。」と私。最初に案内されて部屋に入ったときは室内がムッと臭いが漂っていた。1300年間という国内３番目に長い歴史を持つこの温泉宿は維持管理が手薄のようだ。廊下や浴室の脱衣場、浴場を掃除や点検している人の姿を見かけることもなかった。宿で出される料理、温泉にもこれというよい印象はない。保守的な古い体制が支配するただの旅館を感じる。中庭の日本庭園のみに良い印象を持った程度。粟津温泉の中心的な存在であるこの旅館、法師の活性化を切に望みたい。若い女将の法師さんが、この難局を背負って無事に切り抜けられるだろうか、と心配した。

まずスタッフの皆さんは全て感じが良く、到着が遅れても嫌な顔一つせず迎えてくださいました。 ウェルカム抹茶のサービスや、コーヒー券プレゼントなど、嬉しい心遣いも多かったです。 日本庭園が何より素晴らしく、地面だけでなく木や手水鉢、あらゆるものに美しく活着した自然の苔、不思議な空間に迷い込んだ気さえしました。 ですが、建物が全体的に古く、土壁は剥がれ落ちている場所がちらほら。建て増しを重ねと思われ、まるで迷路のよう。またいただいた地図の案内がとてもわかりづらく、一緒に行った家族は大層機嫌を損ねていました。 食事は、せっかく石川県に来たのに新鮮なお魚は食べることが出来ませんでした。お刺身は冷凍してた？というくらい冷えすぎて、弾力もなく。品数はありますが、これといって美味しいものもなく。 また仕方がないことなのですが、給仕をしてくださった外国人の方の体臭がキツくて、せっかく美味しい料理を食べようという時に部屋中にその匂いが充満してしまったのは残念でした。 構造上、自分で窓を開けることもできず、つらいものがありました。ご本人はとても良い方だっただけに、どうしようもないことを伝えることもできず、、、 また、楽しみにしていた大浴場、女風呂は13個ほどあったシャワーの半分ほどが故障していました。 調整中のふだかかっていないシャワーを使っても、温度調整のツマミが一回転してしまい、待てど暮らせど暖かいお湯は出ず、次のシャワーに移ったら、今度はお湯が出たのですが、レバーを一度押すと一定間隔で続ける時間が短すぎて何もできない！ 日本の、しかも有名旅館なのに！こんなことは初めてで驚きました。 湯舟は内風呂と露天風呂一つずつ。謎に浅い部分が広いのは、子供用？それとも湯治用？そんなに広くもなく満足度は低かったです。 男風呂は2倍ほど広いらしいのに、時間によるスイッチはなし。 いつも温泉では湯疲れするほど入りに行くのにテンションが上がらず、一回しか入りませんでした。 そして朝の駅までのバスの時間は固定で、駅に着いたあと30分も待つ必要がありました…駅まで送るならば、電車の時間に合わせて設定していただきたいです。 日本最古の温泉旅館、趣もあり、人にも魅力があるだけに、もう少し頑張ってこんなクチコミが付かないようにしていただきたいと切に願います。

1300年の歴史ありとのことに魅かれ当館に2連泊。 まずは良かった点から、ただし２点のみ ・中庭が素晴らしい。これには歴史を感じる。 ・部屋（和洋室）が広く、二人では広すぎるくらい 悪い点は色々 ・非日常を感じたく旅行するわけであるが、この宿の営繕、修繕が行き届かず、そ の感じになれない。廊下のじゅうたんが擦り切れ、外壁の塗装が剥げ、部屋のベ ランダには落ち葉が溜まりっぱなし、大浴場は天井の塗装が剥げて洗い場の各水 栓場の照明が3分の１が切れかけの兆候で点滅している。 ・お湯は循環で塩素を感じる。温泉の検査証によれば湯量は16.1L/分とのことでか け流しは全く無理な湯量。貸し切り湯にはかけ流しとしている旅行サイトがあっ たが真偽は不明。 ・サービスも問題あり。客が自分のサイズにより浴衣をチェックイン時に選ぶが、 中居さんはそれを客に持たせる。部屋への案内は部屋の前まで送り込んだら姿を 消す。説明は「ここがお部屋です」と途中で「そちらが大浴場です」だけ。 ・食事は可もなく不可もなくといったところ。あれがおいしかったと思い出せる品 が無い。手間省きのためなのか、固形燃料を使った焼き物、鍋が1～2品つく。 低価格で集客しているようであるが、現地までの旅費を考えるとこの宿に宿泊したのは失敗であった。粟津温泉街を歩いたが、閉館の旅館が多くゴーストタウンの一歩手前。当館には1300年の歴史に誇りをもって頑張ってほしいとおもうが。

お部屋でお食事プランで泊まりました。コロナ禍が落ち着いた時期とはいえ、いろいろ気になる点が...。 ・お部屋に、使った後と思われるタオルが置きっぱなし(回収だけして、掃除などの提案はなし) ・お食事を持ってきてくださった仲居さんが鼻マスク ・自分で敷く布団に敷布団シーツなし 普段はあまりこういうのは気にならないのですが、人との接触を減らして泊まれると思い、こちらのプランにしたので、お掃除はちゃんとされてるのか...お布団は大丈夫だろうか...などと急に不安になりました。 ただ、お風呂は最高でした。 今回は出張だったので1回しか入れませんでしたが、コロナが終息したらゆっくり泊まりたいです！ 素敵な温泉と施設なので、もう少し考えられればいいと思います。
