Everything about this place is amazing! The greeting on arrival, the accomodation, the staff, the food and restaurants, the gym and the watersports team. We have been to two other islands in previous years and this one did not disappoint. We had an over-water jacuzzi water villa and it was very spacious and beautifully designed. It was the furthest distance from the restaurant, but it took less than 10 minutes to get there and we had all the time in the world :-) The food in the buffet restaurant was very good and varied, not many repeats like in some other places we have been to. The only "staple" was the cooked and made to order naan breads and they were incredible. The staff looked after the guests well and our waiter Jumaan was so lovely and kind. Our all inclusive package allowed us to go to Aqua, which is the fine dining restaurant, twice and we had 3 course meals there overlooking the sea and it was a very special experience. Each guest is looked after by a "Champion" and Munish looked after us well, regularly checking in on us, although I can't imagine that they would often be told any negative as every detail is so well planned. The gym is quite small, but very well thought out, and the aircon was effective so it didn't give us any excuse not to go and burn off some calories from the delicious food! We went on a snorkelling trip, hosted by Mel, and were shown the best places to go around the island. For the first couple of days we were going to the wrong places and I was worried that the snorkelling wouldn't match what we had seen elsewhere, but I didn't need to worry. One tip is that if you go past the Aqua restaurant and to the end of the boardwalk where the boats come in, and go down the steps there into the water then there are a massive amount of fish under the boardwalk, especially at the end. We went in March and the best time of day to go was between 3:30 and 4pm as the light was at its best. The current can be strong and it is better if you are a stronger swimmer. All of the rooms have life jackets in, which was good for me. The snorkelling trips require the guests to wear fins and full face snorkel masks are not encouraged. We also went on the sunset cruise and saw dolphins, which was lovely. The selection of drinks in the all inclusive package was very good, including a lot of cocktails and mocktails. If you want a spirit that is payable then it was $6. Entertainment was available every evening in the main bar and was varied, to suit all tastes. So for us, we preferred some nights more than others, but that was fine. This is quite a small resort and very quiet, which for us is what the Maldives is all about. It was very friendly and due to there not being lots of guests you did recognise people and were able to say hello and be friendly. It wasn't very dressy in the main restaurant, so don't worry about having to dress up! It is advisable for men to take long trousers if you want to go to the Aqua rest
