I think this hotel offers incredible value - I really was delighted to have stayed there. This is the first time I have booked all-inclusive and the experience has far surpassed my expectations. I was lucky enough to have a room in the main block on the first floor, facing the road but that meant my room had the sun all day. The balcony was large with a table and two chairs along with a rack for drying clothes. My only quibble with the room was that there was no light over the desk. My room was of a good size with two single beds pushed together, but unfortunately only one chair. There was a good amount of hanging space for clothes, but no drawers. There never is enough coat –hangers. A flat screen TV with Netflix and YouTube hung on the wall over a desk. There was a normal domestic size refrigerator. On top of the refrigerator there was a kettle and two mugs and glasses. WiFi was available throughout the hotel with no restrictions. All the staff from reception to restaurant to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. A sand and shingle beach is five minutes’ walk away if you don't fancy using the hotel pool, which is not particularly big. Another alternative for water sports is to use the associated water park that is close to the beach. I think it caters for ages up to teenage. There are bus stops right outside the hotel with a bus frequency of about 20 minutes. It took me about twenty minutes to walk into Kolumbari, the main village with shops, supermarkets and restaurants. However, with all-inclusive there is no real need. Food is hot and not lukewarm with a great selection and a changing menu each day. The only trouble with such choice is that it is easy to eat too much! All-inclusive meant I could have soft drinks or coffee whenever I wanted with beer or wine available at lunch or dinner. The bar offered takeaway, if you didn't fancy drinking in the bar area. I cannot praise this hotel too highly.

A really gorgeous stay, only marred by the cloudy, windy weather. Staff absolutely lovely across the board. Everywhere was clean and sanitary. Food did get a bit samey (but I’m vegetarian so choices were limited) but was always fresh and enjoyable. Could do with a heated pool as these were just freezing. Not a lot to do in evenings but we did go end of season. I’m not one for being dragged into ‘entertainment’ so it suited me but perhaps some music etc for kids would be nice. The cats and kittens made it for us. They lived on the way to our room and it was a real joy to play with them and feed them (the supermarket up the road sold kitten biscuits so we were guilty of spending a few of our euros on these!) They didn’t invade your space if you didn’t want them to but they definitely made our daughter’s holiday. Overall, a really enjoyable time as a family of 4, with children aged 11 and 6. Shout out to the staff in the dining room who were particularly lovely.

Clean and beautiful. Wonderful staff and great service. The food was great. Even if it's all inclusive, there were still variations for every meal. A small walk for 150 meters to get to the water park. Another 50 meters to reach the beach. Beautiful with nice water.

Firstly we really did enjoy our holiday especially visiting chania however the hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The Pros first were, our room had a beautiful sea view. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and it had a bus stop right outside the hotel making transport easy. However there were a lot more cons, the alcoholic drinks were extremely watered down to the point it felt like you were just drinking pop and not wine. There also seemed to be a lot of preferential Treatment, It was noticeable that guests who paid extra for certain upgrades, like premium cocktails, received more attention than those with all-inclusive packages with my mum being ignored at the bar for multiple minutes whilst the bar staff chatted to those who paid the extra bit for close to 5 min, which felt a bit unfair. One of the worst parts was the early Morning noise there was consistently loud noises early every morning around 7 AM. There were constant sounds of hammering, scraping chairs, and banging, which made it difficult to sleep in and enjoy our vacation, we realised they were having construction done above us which we weren't told about. The fire alarm went off 3 times late at night and we heard nothing from reception about what was going on, I had to run down and ask and was shrugged off saying it was just a problem in the kitchen. the alarm then went off again at 7am which woke us up, when we asked them again after breakfast the receptionist just smirked and said it was a little problem, my mum then told him they should've really let us know what was happening because multiple fire alarms going off is scary, he carried on smirking and only when my mum started to get mad did he apologise. There were a few problems as well with the room, the door firstly was extremely stiff, when locking it from the inside the lock just seemed to keep spinning, maybe 4 or 5 full turns before it locked. There was a kettle with cups but no tea coffee sugar or milk which we found weird because why have the facilities for it? the shower was a walk in one with just a small glass barrier that didn't reach fully across, this meant that everytime we showered it practically flooded the bathroom, the shower head also looked very dirty. At night there was also a weird crackling noise constantly which was either coming from the TV or the air con we couldn't figure out which. One of the days when I went to use the self serve drink machine it seemed there were ants either In the machine or in the cups you grab from the side. Also upon arrival there was a lack of Information given, they took our passports for a couple of hours, we were given a list for meal times and then given the key, we had to ask for the safe information which was free he just forgot to tell us, we then had to ask other guests where we went to dinner as we didn't know since during the day the area was closed off. The food was extremely limited and repetitive, they had basic salad bar which wasnt covered up so often

Due to many responsibilities, I combined my vacation with professional matters that I had to deal with in Crete. As for the hotel, I must admit that it met my expectations when I decided to stay at Sellini Suites. The room was well-kept and cleaned every day, the pools and sun loungers were also kept clean. The food is tasty. It would be perfect if I had a better companion :D Fortunately, the situation was saved by the staff. The waitresses were very polite and i could had a nice conversation with them. One girl in particular, named Yana, stands out in my memory. I would like to wish her and all the staff all the best. I will be happy to take advantage of the hotel's offer if I come to Crete again for business purposes.

Modern looking renovated resort. Good food. Good drink and food service. Clean. Caring staff. (They even gave us sandwiches because our plane arrived late). There is not the best wifi in the rooms but vacation is not about being in ur room. You can rent a car. There is live music in the evenings. There are some animals (friendly cats and dogs) in the area - they are not dirty. There are still some things that would need a remake (the buffet, main toilets and some small things) but in the end I think its an ideal place to stay and i think it will have a great succesful future. (everithing i said is in comparison that it is a 4-star resort) Directly to the resort: I have nothing to complain about expect there was a really good looking waitress and they did not give me her instagram because of privacy. (resort's instagram account actually replaied to my message which i did not expect) - but i still did not get the instagram :( If someone from the resort is reading this then please (big please) just ask her if she is willing to give it to me. (I am not a pedophile, I am probably younger then she)

This recently renovated hotel certainly looks the part. Big open car park leading into a beautiful lobby area. George greeted us on reception and was an absolute pleasure, showing us to our room. The rooms looked exactly like what was advertised and initially we seen no issues. The restaurant and pool area are also very well kept. It wasn't too busy when we were there but it was right at the start of the main season so may be more difficult to get seats later in the year but we never had an issue getting a table or sun loungers for the entire stay. The food was perfectly fine, large room with plenty of choice, the only downside was that it was mostly the same food each day, some things were different but it was a small downside. The hot plate area where the chef was cooking always had omelettes at breakfast and souvlaki, chips, and bread on evenings for example, possibly could change things up here? We've stayed at other locations where they've had omelettes, pancakes and various other things on mornings. Food for thought. The location of the hotel is in quite a quiet area, too. There is a few things dotted about but you're talking about a 30 minute walk realistically to find any more built-up areas, no doubt the perfect location if you rent a car, especially with the on-site car park. The only real negatives though were the shower and the dogs next door. Admittedly, the hotel can take zero blame for the dogs, but if you're staying to the East of reception, the residential property next door leaves their dogs (at least 5) outside 24 hours per day and they bark throughout the night, I would certainly advise getting earplugs. The other issue was our shower was broken. We noticed at the beginning of the holiday that the shower head was cracked and reported it immediately. It did still work but water sprayed out of the crack meaning the entire floor got soaked, not the biggest of issues but I did slip once which could have been a lot worse and even more so had my pregnant wife slipped. All in all, a very good hotel, especially for the price, possibly with a few teething issues so soon after the renovation. The staff were all pleasant enough and we would recommend it to others.

11pm arrival, given a sandwich, very polite and helpful staff. Air conditioning was great and had a beautiful view on the balcony of the mountains. Room was very clean and tidy. Great stay, lots of food choice! Wifi was absolutely terrible though. Cleaners are lovely aswell! and lots of cute cats

My sister and I have just spent a week here and cannot rate Selini Suites highly enough! On arriving at 11pm we were welcomed by the lovely, smiling George, who checked us in and showed us to our rooms, and took my suitcase for me. The pool bar closes at midnight, wonderful! So we had a most welcome g&t, served by an equally friendly George! Our room was clean with pristine white bedding and towels. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The shower was fantastic! An overhead and a handheld. All the breakfasts, lunches and dinners were delicious with a very good choice of different dishes every day. We didnt eat the snacks offered mornings and afternoons as we were too full but I think these were mainly for incoming guests who had missed mealtimes. The restaurant was spotless. The staff were superb! From Panos the manager and his amazing team, Renna, Ava, Olivia, Katarina, yet another George and a lovely young man whose name I didn't get. They were excellent. I did mention to Panos that the food warmers could be a bit hotter and he thanked me for the feedback and sorted it out immediately. The chefs and kitchen staff we saw were friendly too. The Housekeeping team never stopped cleaning! They would clean our room every day if we wanted them too, but we didn't need it. They just didn't stop! Every staff member was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We loved using the sunbeds, which had tables and umbrellas, around the pool and they weren't crowded together which was very pleasant. On our last night there was live music, a brilliant keyboard player, and a fantastic singer/ guitarist who had the most beautiful, haunting voice. She was fantastic! All in all, a wonderful, really relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings and looked after by some really wonderful people.
