Our stay on the Southern Backwaters houseboat ***** Ashtamudi Kayal was a delightful experience. The boat was well-maintained and cozy, offering stunning views of the serene waters.The staff were friendly and attentive.Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat on the water.

Very good coordination and hospitality. Food and arrangements were very good. All members of our family enjoyed and conveyed their happiness towards the trip. Looking forward for another trip in another location with the same team. Keep up the good work.

Prompt and professional service and communication. Parking facility for car was also arranged by the manager. Courteous staff personnel. Food included in the package include was scrumptuous. No need to add add Overall a good memorable experience

Had an amazing and memorable trip at Southern Backwaters headed by Mr.Shyju. The hospitality was extraordinary. His team did an amazing job. They gave us authentic kerala style food and was so delicious. The rooms were neat and decent. We all enjoyed the ride a lot. Happy that we chose Southern Backwaters....

It was a wonderful experience on Shyju’s Ashtamudy southern backwaters trip. We had a wonderful one day trip which also covered the Munroe boat ride . The best part of shyju’s trip was he has a very efficient n warm staff which include the captain Lohanan, the caretaker Stellafer and the awesome cook Salaam . We had such authentic kerala fish meals n also vegetable items were included . The food which had was just amazing . His houseboat was also very clean n we would highly recommend every tourist to once try n take the experience . Rate 5/5best regards

It was a great experience and everyone in our family enjoyed the trip and food was realy nice and tasteful . We all get an oppertunity to enjoy the boat service we all children are enjoy this trip. All empolyes of boat behave good and friendly again we can get a chance we will surely come and enjoy this trip

A private boat for my partner and I, we got fed delicious food, saw lots of wildlife and took some fantastic photos The crew where excellent, very kind and courteous Really beautiful way to explore the backwaters It has been the highlight of my India trip!

Our group of 4 Australian tourists did a 2 night Kollam-Kollam round trip via Mjnroe island with Southern Backwaters. We had our own boat with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms Food was good and in huge volume. We requested non-veg and had prawns, fish, chicken etc. No one was hungry. Tea, coffee available all day. Took a 2hour shikara side trip up some canals. Crew were fun, nothing was a problem. Happy to recommend

The house boat experience was amazing. I didn't even realise when the 6 hours got over. Mr. Jose, was extremely knowledgeable and kept is entertained throughout the trip. The Munroe Island trip was very exciting and was fun. The food was delicious and the cook did and amazing job. Thank you for letting us have an amazing time!
